Meaty, gripping, gut-wrenching, emotive. A maze of a story to unpick with characters you feel attached to. Found myself dashing back to read more whenever I had a spare minute. Just brilliant.

Amazing
Absolutely loved this book, kept me hooked from the beginning and I devoured it in a day. I even cried a little at the end, I’d have liked a tiny little bit more background for some bits but I’m being greedy as there was so much laid out anyway. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

She’s got to be the best at this genre. It just a thriller, a shocker. So much going on with the characters, the sub plots etc.

Fabulous book
I was gripped from start to finish. This book is twisted and excellent.

It was good. Gripping enough but lots of holes
It was a good book. Kept me going through a difficult few evenings while I was away for a work conference. But there are lots of plot holes. Without giving too much away, the time between the “big reveal” and the conclusion is stretched too far and you do wonder why the main character continues to trust a character who’s continued to lie to her till the very end. Aside from that, decent read.

Took a few chapters to get properly in to it but once I did, found it hard to put down. Great plot and liked switching between main characters in each chapter.

Gritty, Encapsulating, I couldn't stop reading!
My first Karin Slaughter read. I may have a new favourite author! There are many twists and turns. Highly recommended for people looking for something to sink their teeth into!

As an avid Karin Slaughter reader I was so disappointed with this book. Repetitive and boring. I have had to put a star on to post my review other wise I would not have gave it any.
