George N. H. Peters (1825 – 1909) was an American Lutheran minister whose life work, this three-volume defense of non-dispensational premillennial theology, was published in 1884. 

Wilbur E. Smith calls it “the most exhaustive, thoroughly annotated and logically arranged study of Biblical prophecy that appeared in our country during the nineteenth century.”
