Well, I wouldn’t blame necessarily apple as distribution platform but rather cbs/paramount+ which have demonstrated an enormous amount of greed and business approach towards Star Trek, taking it as well as flagship project to promote and steer subscribers to paramount+ (just remember how they pulled discovery from Netflix a day before international launch was scheduled).
But instead of this i would have loved to hear more review about the content and the “how it is distributed” … and here I’m also disappointed. Maybe I still have the taste of paramount/cbs behaving like greedy bastards around Star Trek … and honestly I have the impression you feel it in Storytelling. Same approach, season arch … disco is the only ship and crew that can safe the world, oh hail them for having jumped 900 years to the future. The stories are so stretched that every time I think they are written to -ideally- keep subscribers renewing their subscriptions monthly. So this becomes super annoying and I’m loosing interest in story telling of Star Trek discovery.
