Honestly had this game for years now and came back to it recently after not playing it for a while, once you learn all the controls and get used to how it works this is actually a really good sandbox game for your phone. Very addictive and I have spent hours playing. Recommend!

Bought the game to build a swimming complex with the soaked dlc only to find the dlcs int in the game or available to buy. I feel robbed. Also why is this game locked to 30fps my windows XP laptop can run it at 60 this frame rate cap is absurd. Why can’t this game run at 60?

Was really getting into this game until I realised I couldn’t finish building my park, in face I barely started building my park and there’s an object limit. Pretty poor when you can’t even fill the space provided. Can we get an update?! Other than this it’s an amazing game!

The game itself is fantastic but there are multiple downfalls:
* got to Year 56 in sandbox mode with auto saved turned on, yet the game closed itself. Upon relaunching, it had not saved. So much time wasted.
* the object limit is an absolute joke. You get such a large area, but can barely fill 25% of it.
* the range of flat rides in the game are minimal
The game is very good, but honestly with the game not being updated anymore, and these issues unlikely to be resolved, don’t bother downloading. Better off using a PC and spending money on Planet Coaster - a much better and more reliable game than this joke.

Such a great game and very similar to the pc version, yet lacks the safari and water park expansions, but is still great to play, the sandbox feature being a highlight. However, being imaginatively capped due to the object limit is tedious and I fail to understand why it is there, the pc version allows you to build without restrictions, where as here once the limit is reached building is prohibited, a real downer which discredits the game massively. From looking at older comments I see how this has been an issue since the games release on the App Store and is still an annoyance to this day, please please fix it!!!

This is exactly how i remember the PC game. The port can be a little janky especially when making foot paths, but not too big a deal. The only thing is. Do not attempt to alter the terrain in any way. Once you do all the paths will be messed up and I becomes impossible to attach paths to rides

I love the game and have spent countless hours playing it but when trying to build a “water coaster” I am unable to select trough sections as button for it (next to the off/test ride button) is non responsive. If a select/buy the pre made water coaster and modify it I can deselect the through but can not reselect it. I would give it 5 stars if this issue could be resolved.

Thank you fronts for bringing my childhood back especially since I don’t have my pc for planet coaster.
The app is great totally worth the £5, I’ve not found any faults or bugs with it so far. The UI does take time to get used too but your flying after a few hours.

The game is enjoyable, until you have the constant guest shouting from the rides. It’s as if they’ve just legit recorded someone shouting for the soundtrack. It wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t in my ear every second.

It's amazing it's so easy and good but there is some issues that is that it doesn’t have the same coasters as the pc version and you can’t get the water park with it it would be a huge improvement if they upgraded it just seems like they have give up and after a while it gets boring if I would of noticed this I wouldn’t waste my money on it and you shouldn’t it’s expensive and boring so I would probably pay around£1.50 not four pounds and a lot of good features have been taken off it like you can’t enclose the raft coasters and you have to unlock different versions of the ride I would give this a five star if it had all of these features back and the waterpark version and all of the rides from pc because I can’t afford a computer so I wouldn’t really recommend buying this game and I am very disappointed as it was so good before it was perfect and now it’s rubbish so creators please fix this so it’s better because it semis like you have given up on this game 😕

Everyone is commenting on sandbox mode,
I played the game for a year before i came across sandbox mode! And even then I still think that the game is fine without it. The game has crashed once or twice, but only when I was deleting like everything in the park so I can understand why, doesn’t crash with normal playing.
I love the idea of the rides costing game money to run, I think that the game is really well designed and I love it.
Sometimes the game comes up and says:
‘Warning you are getting near the object limit for this park’
I played for three months more on that park and it didn’t stop me placing stuff, so I don’t know if it a glitch or what.
Overall it is really good and I will continue playing for the rest of my life.
P.S if the creator is reading this then can we please have an advanced editor on custom coasters. So we can make the coasters go, and do whatever we want, cuz there are certain features on famous roller coasters that I want to recreate and at the moment I can’t do that. And one more thing can we please have a booster tack on custom coasters.

Just like the pc version which I still play. But there aren’t as many items and no items from the safari and splash expansion packs, but that’s fine with as I still play my pc version. But this is nice for on the go.

I love this game and it is a great way to pass the time, but there is one issue: Crashing. I had the game about a month before it started crashing. I got the game mostly for sandbox and it was so fun. But recently, whenever i try to load up sandbox, it will come up with the list of parks that i made, but all the names would be replaced with and then a second later the app would crash and close down. Career mode works perfectly fine but sandbox doesnt. If anyone has a solution, it would be helpful to know.

First of all, this is an excellent game which could be improved by adding new attractions such as the ones on the pc version. Myself, and many others, would enjoy being able to create coasters that were on the pc version, as well as the water slides and various other items. The game is great it is just like the pc version and riding the rides is really smooth and not laggy but the guests are a real issue when you get above 600 guests it gets slow and if you get higher than 650 guests the game is unusable it becomes very laggy and is very hard to build rollercoasters and ride them as the experience is very choppy because of the lag caused by the guests so until the developers add a guest limiter to either the main settings or the Park management I will not give them 4 or five stars

I paid for this game for it to be said that it's exactly same as the computer. 3 rides and some decoration on sandbox to be told limit is near.. I have made 8 parks cos limit is about a 10th of the space given.. why so much space if only a small amount is allowed to be built?! Come on bring an update out for us to use all the space like the computer, specially if your charging a 4.99 when the game on steam for laptop is 3.79. gets me really quite frustrated as 3 rides is aloud of crap for the space you get.. 5* if more room is added.. park looks empty. No one get this unless you can use all the space or at least half the space given. Gutted as I love this game but Im sticking to computer game from now on..

Please update the game to fix bugs like the iPhone 7 and above 3D Touch bug which messes with controls when it’s on, and please improve frame rate! I used to play this game on a rubbish old laptop I know my iPhone 7 is capable of more! Planet coaster is my favourite on PC and this keeps me going on the go, please sort it out guys!

Would be great as there is no shortage of things to do or items to place....however the object limit on sandbox mode is really irritating....I bought the game for the sandbox mode (to just be able to play unlimited and with unlimited funds....however I can't even build a quarter of the differently themed areas of my park that I'd started enjoying, before my object limit was up. So I was left with miles of green park left to build on yet couldn't place any more items. Why can't I build as much as I like and use the whole field instead of a tiny piece? After all, I paid for the game. Seems silly to have such a brilliant amount of rides/ shops/ decorations/ stalls etc and yet only be able to build a handful of each. Other than that the game is fun, visually pretty and has loads of potential, I like being able to change the terrain and land, and I love being able to virtually ride the coasters and rides

This game used to be awesome and amazing addictive. Last night I made a really good park and pressed exit which usually saves the game and this morning I opened the app looked for the park and to my annoyance it had gone. I thought at first that maybe I had not saved it but it was happening to all of my parks. Some parks had just completely disappeared I am so disappointed please fix this and I will give the game 5 stars as other than that bug the game is amazing.

I loved playing the Rollercoaster Tycoon series when I was younger on PC, RC3 brings back the memories and the nostalgia. I highly recommend this game, it's the full version and packed full of challenges/rides and also has the excellent sandbox mode too. The user interface is well implemented too and had no issues creating rides or scenery, thanks to the developers for bringing this classic game to IPad/IPhone! Delighted so many good games are now being released on IOS.

This is a amazing game! Great fun to play. The only annoying side is when you are in sandbox mode, it says you can build to your hearts content. But this is not true as half way through building my park it come up saying park closed and object limit has been reached and building new rides props etc had been disabled. Which is very disappointing. Why does there need to be a object limit? I think this needs to be looked at and changed apart from that 10 out of 10 for the game!

This is a joke, 3rd time my park has been completely wiped and replaced by an old saved file, no matter how many times I select the auto save button. There's no option to save in game either.
Won't be building another park or buying anymore games if you can't get the basics right.
The fact that you can't take your saved data with you either from device to device is rubbish. Loads my game centre account. May have been worth giving Atari my money and brought the in app purchases for add ons. At least you can then take your park on multiple devices. So far I need my iPad Pro, iPhone 7 and old Skool gen 2 ipad. Can't carry my iPad Pro around all the time, that's just stupid.
Great game but the object limit and more stuff needs to be added to this wonderful app.

When I play this game since 2015 I made a wonderful theme park but the reason why the game lags it is the object limit of the park? I hate crashes and lags it lags a lot or lags a little bit of the lagginess on it? I would recommend it but there's a few problems needs to solved that more rides and more rollercoasters the most important of this game Soak City, Wild and more rides to added for it. even more scenarios for it. So far this game has been really fun, although I have heard of an object limit. Maybe if you can extend the limit it will give the game more opportunity? But most importantly, when will we get the Soaked! and Wild! expansions? Youtubers gave me inspiration for some parts if my park, yet most i cannot create as i do not have any expansions. For example, Tycoon-A-Tron with his entrance. I wanted to Try and recreate this but you can not get Concrete Entrances without Soaked!. Not being available to IOS, i had to have it without, making it look ugly. So please could you make Soaked! and Wild! Available to IOS. It doesn't really matter if it costs a small amount of money either.

So, so good. Loved the PC game, figured this would be too fiddly and annoying but it is actually a really good port! I don't for a second regret buying this, I've played it every day. It hasn't crashed once. I can only imagine how good this would be on the iPad if I could get that back off my kid.

It's generally a great port as that game has been unchanged, no micro transactions, solid graphics etc. There are 2 major issues however, which can be quite frustrating.
Firstly and most importantly, the pathing (i.e. creating paths) is awful. If the ground is uneven or elevated it just doesn't work half the time and can be really fiddly to fix. If you have a part-finished path that is mid-air or underground, good luck finishing that as unlike with rollercoasters, you can't select the end piece and automatically continue building from there. Instead, you have to try to line up a new piece exactly next to it at exactly the right height which again is so fiddly to do with touch controls. This is a bigger issue than you might think as any park that's not built on a flat sandbox will require you to build paths in this way and you'll spend more time fiddling with them than building fun coasters.
Secondly, lag. Smaller parks are ok but once you get up to 600+ people with terrain, scenery and verticality of paths and rides it can become quite slow and unresponsive. Somewhat to be expected though so is forgivable.
Overall, fix the pathing and this could be 4 or even 5 stars.

Those buttons when upping the price in the shops could do with being a bit bigger tho specially when there's a few options and bit laggy when park gets bigger but still can't stop playing it! Maybe some better objectives through out tho coz the objectives are boring but game is awesome lol

This was a childhood game but it missing one of my favourite features: where is the water and animal feature? Apart from this everything else is perfect thank you for creating it.

This game is a totally amazing game and has all the rides/textures from the PC version, not much of a price difference but this game is the best game on the AppStore, I reccomend you try this out and play for a while

This is the best game I have downloaded from the AppStore. It is a complete and well done port of the original PC game. Having recently bought an iPhone 7 I thought I would try it again as it was a bit sluggish on my 5s. However although it is now much smoother I have found a very irritating bug to do with the button mapping. It is virtually impossible to press the speed adjustment button in the top left of the screen. Please fix this and the game will be perfect!

Giving the game 4 stars because it won't let me build anything else in my park even tho I have loads of room still and I haven't even got half the rides it offers you. If I could of done more with my park I would have giving the game 5 stars cause I have enjoyed playing the game.

For £3.99 you are getting an actual game with none of the usual app gimmicks of in app purchases. It has been converted excellently to touch tech and works flawlessly. Perfect game for any tycoon enthusiasts.

I am so pleased to finally find a game which is fully playable without adverts or any gems, gold or other rubbish to spend real cash on. This is exactly how mobile games should be! Hats off to the developers.

Seriously, i never thought that a proper port of a RCT game would ever come out! I was so happy, I brought it immediately. Trust me, this money wasn't wasted. I have so much fun with this game, and i am pretty close to finishing career mode.
I have two critisims, however.
1: the game can randomly crash at times, which is very frustrating when you have been working for awhile and it all goes to waste.
2: the original DLC cannot be purchased. This isn't too much of an issue, but it does annoy me that there is no option to do that, because i would happily purchase the DLC, and im sure that other people would too.
Overall, this game is amazing, and you should definitely buy it if you are a RCT fan.
It really is the full game!!!

So so impressed with this game! I honestly can't believe it is the full game.
I love this game on my PC but due to software glitches it hasn't been working. This app version has all the same features including ride music. It has everything. I can't recommend it enough and what a bargain of a price 10% of the cost of the PC version!

I've been waiting for RCT to come out on iOS for years - and here it is, just as I remember, no in app purchases... Just great fun! Best money ever spent in App Store, this game like the original PC version will keep me going for hours.

Spent ages building a couple of "amazing" rides, started getting my park looking great and then hit the "object limit."
I'd only used about ¼ of the play area as well!
Disappointing, but I guess there's a reason, as it was beginning to lag anyway.
Just feel teased by it and hopefully a future update can allow more objects!

It's so addicting and I love it I just wish on career mode you can start from scratch and no other things in the park just like sandbox but where you actually make money and not have unlimited

I had to rate this game 5 stars, so much nostalgia but also the fact I can now play on my phone from a point and tap is beautiful. The game runs smooth and the campaign is very fun. Must buy!!

Just wished there was more to it i have completed the career mode and now all that is left is the sandbox which to me is pointless s it gives you infinite credits, seriously i could build a park and charge no entry and no ride price and no food or drink price and still have money, there is no point to this mode, rollercoaster tycoon is all about making money not never losing any. Come on people, give us a chance.

It's exactly the same as the PC version in every way, besides the controls of course, and that's why it's incredible.
If you have as fond memories of this game as I do, then buy this port.
Seriously..
Throw your money at your screen!
You will jump back into this like you never stopped playing.
The touchscreen controls work great, the graphics are on par with the original PC version, every ride is here, every game type. It's honestly perfect.
My only criticism, and I have to have one because those are the games journalism rules, is that there's no autosave. I know this wasn't an original feature but if, for whatever reason, the game or the device crashes, an hour or so's worth of work is gone in an instant.
But that's it. No autosave is my only gripe with this game. It's still a perfect game though because it's the same game that I remember spending every waking moment playing when I was a kid.
To finish, please buy this game. The guys and gals over at Frontier deserve every single penny for this wonderful wonderful game. And remember, all the money you spend on this, goes to making Planet Coaster even better.

Great game i agree with what others say, it runs just ok but does get laggy as the park gets bigger, (iphone 6)
Then just as things get interesting and your parks starting to look good u get a warning for object limit, which is really disappointing, i had used about a quarter of the area given to us and thats it,
All that space i can't use!
Also no custom scenarios what u can use a sandbox but without unlimited money,
Sandbox is boring and no point to it with earning money

It's all there, just how I remember it. RCT3 was my first ever PC game and I absolutely loved it and here it is, on my phone. No micro-transactions, no changed gameplay, it's just how it was. It's a little more difficult to play due to the controls but I'm getting used to them. I just can't get over how good a port it is, they've left nothing out so far. Really, really great job from Frontier. If you liked the original but haven't played in a while I highly recommend you play this, it's buckets of fun.

I'm very impressed with how well this game plays, it's just like I remember on pc! I bought it yesterday for my iPad Pro 9.7 and I have been playing it a lot, I can't put it down!! Hopefully some more decent strategy games will follow suit!
As another reviewer has requested, please can we have the add on expansion packs for RCT3 made available on iOS?
