I’ll be honest, I’ve enjoyed the stories I’ve played, and I don’t particularly mind the monetary aspect of the app (it being completely optional and the daily goals to earn diamonds etc.) however it felt limiting in the stories to choose, a lot of them seem to aimed at a particular target audience without much thought or credence for others, for instance my favourites being HERO and Most Wanted, both left on cliffhangers and the sequels not having seen any light of day for god knows how long now, probably in the minority here but I’d love for more stories likes those.

While the game itself is interesting the fact that you earn ONE diamond per chapter finished yet have to spend 25 diamonds to clothe your character, or advance beyond the level. There is NO opportunity to earn extra diamonds and you are unable to advance without spending REAL LIFE money.

This makes this game far too expensive to continue playing.

So I’ve become addicted to this game but I definitely echo everyone’s opinion on the diamonds situation.

Surely at some points it’s only fair for some drastic changes in the game (such as dates or amazing outfits) to be cheaper. Not every time, just sometimes. Because we can’t anticipate what event and choice is coming next and whether we’d prefer to spend all our diamonds on that rather than this, and so on. So it’s not really OUR choice what we’re doing. Which is the premise of the game.

Or maybe at the end of each chapter, collect more than just 2 diamonds.

Choices has had some great updates lately like the daily diamond check in an all. You have many chances to collect diamonds for your stories and I’m all alright with that. My problem is with the keys. You have to wait THREE hours for keys and you only get two?? I wish there was either a less waiting time, more keys after the 3 hour wait OR a way to earn keys for free just like how you can earn keys. If something is done with that I’ll absolutely be satisfied and give 5 stars. Also a story I started called “ My two first loves” the stores are only 3-4 mins long each and I even timed it and it’s less than that. I have to wait three hours and then it’s all gone in a quick 6-8 mins??? That’s pretty unfair. There should be a rule where stories can’t be shorter than like 5-10 mins each chapter.

There’s so many stories to choose from. My favourites are royal romance/heir. My only issue with the game is the limited keys you can get per one time and you have to use a lot of diamonds to select the better options which gets annoying. I’ve try to save mine beforehand.

So annoying that the diamonds you win are so few that you can’t do any of the extras in the stories or buy any of the outfits. There is no way to earn any extra diamonds except by buying them which is very expensive. This just ruins the experience of the stories it would be great app if not for this. You need to add a way to get enough diamonds to complete all the challenges without paying. I have only had it for a few days but will be uninstalling it. NOT RECOMMENDED

Since the VIP membership came out I’ve been spending less. It is definitely worth it in my opinion, or at least for 1 month so you get the 1 time bonus. Unlike other games like this, Choices has many books where you can play as a male character and as a Male myself, it really helps to connect with the character you’re playing as. Another fantastic thing about Choices is it’s LGBTQ representation. In every book I have played, there are both male and female romance options no matter if you’re playing as a male or female. I love that the most.

Overall it is a very fun game but perhaps a little less so if you aren’t a spending person.

So disappointed i have not been able to access my saved file on this game since mid February. Spoke to customer services they attempted to help recover my saved file but it was not a success after 3wks of going back and forth trying to fix it i am no closer to accessing my saved file and it seems as though the developers have no idea what is going on. My only option now is to start all over which is not going to happen as i had read all the books some i even read twice so sadly i am saying goodbye to choices as they could not rectify the problem at the end i was told sometimes this may not work and there is nothing we can do wow how helpful!

I’ve been playing choices for a while now and the one complaint I had was that I couldn’t play it consistently because of the key system but after purchasing the VIP bundle I’ve been playing the stories a lot more, I feel like the game could do with some more action oriented stories, my main suggestion would be a Wild West story where you play a bounty Hunter or an outlaw or something along those lines, just as I played the pirate story and that had me hooked from start to finish!

This is definitely addictive, I will play the story that most interests me and rush though the others to collect diamonds to play in the main game. Certainly It lives in the woods and lives beneath have been brilliant to play with diamond choices being worth the effort. I joined playing royal romance which was great until The royal heir where it was constantly asking for diamonds for mc and child, keeping them dressed was a fortune in diamonds and just not relevant to the story. Queen Bee is fantastic, building up rep was a great incentive and I can’t wait for a continuation for this book, more racy than the rest of the books and very engaging. Ultimately a great story based game, highly recommended

Its a great game the stories are amazing but it is way to expensive to play the chapters with all premium options which is what i like to do and if you dont the story loses context and substance and there is just no point reading if you dont do the premium opinions which the game punishes you if you don’t do them. with the amount of gems the options take to what your paying for is just way to much plus there not enough chances to earn a lot from a day/chapter which alot of chapters takes 30 gems upwards i also feel the vip is way to over priced for what you get the idea that you only get ten gems a day from it which like i stressed is no where near enough for one chapter it seems like a lot to fork out for a month when all your really paying for is unlimited keys and a one time 185 gem gift but i feel if you want to justify the price of a vip membership we should receive x amount of gems per month a long with the other perks I also feel like a lot of the books premium choices is stuff that you should just be able to do or say with out paying snyway as to many times your not really getting enough outta the amount of gems that option coast when in reality some of then should be free or a lot cheaper in gems.

Choices is a good game and I’ve enjoyed it so far, however I am nonbinary and so representation for me is just... Non-existent.

Of the books on choices I’ve looked through, only one of them (Across the Void) allowed me to choose they/them as my player character’s pronouns, but it still railroaded me into choosing a binary gender for my character’s appearance. All the other games either only had one playable gender (which is fine, when the character’s gender is relevant to the story), or made you choose a binary gender and proceeded to call you the corresponding nicknames and pronouns, etc.

I’m not saying that this is a bad game, in fact it’s inclusivity is better than most and has plenty of representation for wlw and mlm relationships, which is a great start, but that doesn’t make it perfect.

I would like to please be allowed to exist in your video game, if that isn’t too big of an ask? Thanks.

I deleted previously as there wasn’t enough diamonds without paying to be able to complete the games in the way you want. I read reviews that said the developers had made changes and it was so much better so I downloaded again. I was so disappointed to find it wasn’t any better.

You only get 2 keys at a time and it takes hours for new ones and the number of diamonds you can win is tiny compared to how many you need to use to make choices during the game. I don’t want to pay £14.99 a month to get better options for a game that’s supposed to be free that allows you to make choices 🤷🏼‍♀️ I also don’t want to pay to get more diamonds to do this

I do like this game a lot, the idea of having a game like this is fun and new.

However, it’s quite disappointing and irritating that you cannot decide exactly what happens (which is against what the game is called). You run out of diamonds and have to choose the option you don’t want to. Which for me, ruins the game.

Another thing is that you have to wait 3 hours for a key into the game, and you cannot collect more than 2. Say if I left this game for 14 hours, I would still come back to 2 keys.

Why I say it’s scandalous is because if you do enjoy the game, and want to play more, or choose the fun options you have to pay. I’d rather watch ads than pay out of my own pocket to enjoy a game.

It would be good if you were offered more diamonds after the ending of a chapter, and that keys can fill up unlimitedly as this game is going to be attracted more to children/teenagers who don’t have money to play.

So I love choices a lot and I’ve had it for a while now.When I finished elementalists book 1 it did take my to the next book but when I finished 2 it didn’t take me to winters past? I searched up if you could still play it in 2021 and you can!Because it was made in 2019 so I was really bummed when I couldn’t read the last parts of the whole elementalists franchise it self (I’m pretty sure pixelburry said that that was going to be the last book.)Therefore I want a search button so you can search books or a part where you can slide and see the remaining books of the series.It would be useful so addicts like me don’t internally freak out when I can’t read the rest.

I’ve not been playing Choices for long, but I am already really into it, and I play a lot.

The best things about this game, in my opinion, are that - you can earn diamonds for free, so you don’t have to pay for exclusive choices

- the graphics are great, so the characters are realistic and so is the scenery

- the stories are long and quite complex, so you can get invested in the story and the characters in it

- you get to choose the direction of your story, such as your love interest, your friends, instead of having to follow a strict plot

- the characters are interesting, with the wit own struggles. When I tried episode, I didn’t really like any of the characters, and felt I was always forced to be a basic girl only interested in the boy characters

The only improvement I could suggest is that the characters can walk and do actions, instead of only emotions. Maybe they could be standing in the story, instead of mainly in a bubble? This would also make me more interested in buying outfits, as I would be able to properly see myself.

Overall, this is a great game which can be played for free, although there are payed options if you’re interested in more diamond choices.

I really like this app and the stories are well written. There is lots of diversity in sexuality and skin but not so much in body sizes and small features like acne or scars. It is rather addicting and fun. However there are lots of gem choices and as you can only get a couple when you finish a chapter it makes it difficult to save up. One of the most irritating things is saving up, spending the gems and then the choice having little to no effect on the story. Then you get the flip side where if you don’t use diamonds it makes a massive difference. Also I think it would be better if the choices were 5 to 15 rather than 12 to 25 so it is easier to save and generally smoother to play. Other than this it’s a good game and I recommend
