I installed this game for my 4 year old daughter since she loves peppa pig 🐷 I thought since this game was for toddlers and small children it would be free and my children would be able to play all of the games but when I opened it was trying to make me subscribe and pay it was frustrating having to pay every month yet it was good for my two daughters it is also frustrating that you can only dress Danny dog 🐶 however even my 9 year old son likes to play with yet I wouldn’t suggest this game

My Autistic son absolutely LOVES Peppa Pig and especially loves the Peppa Pig World app! It’s helped no end with his development, for which we thank you for that.
HOWEVER, the latest update of the app can take anywhere up to 5 mins to load and start everytime it’s launched. It just says “loading” at the bottom for a couple of minutes and then says “almost there 100%” for a while longer before starting.
This is not ideal and causing many a meltdown in my household at the moment. Hopefully there’s a fix for this and it can be resolved soon?🙏🏻
(iOS version is the latest one - Also, I would normally rate the app at 5 stars, but given the current problem…)

Ur basically paying that to let ur kid watch a pig in clothes fat shame her dad, also not recommended for players under the age of 18 as it has lots of graphic images of pigs with no clothes, very naughty game. Hi developers and creators me and my brother who is 4 years old love playing this game but is it okay if you can make a few more games free on this Peppa pig game because there are 32 play and learn games that you can’t play there are 41 videos that you can’t watch and 11 create games that you can’t play. Which makes up to only 3 games you can play and 1 video/teaser that you can watch, and it also makes up to 43 games you can’t play and 41 videos that you can’t watch. That makes up to 84 things that are locked when parents don’t subscribe or when they don’t pay for the monthly thing to make the game free for a month( only when parents pay for it then the game is free for a month) and when parents don’t pay for the yearly thing to make the game free for a year (only when parents pay for the yearly thing then the game is free for a year) if parents don’t buy the game then their child will cry about it and children will get bored with very few games to play on world of Peppa pig. So if possible can people who made this game make a few games free so children don’t complian or get bored please? Thank you and sorry if any trouble is caused. I’ve had this app for a few months and could get a little entertainment for my 2 year being able to play 3 games. My son can now only play 1 game, watch 1 teaser video and dress up 1 character unless I pay £40 odd a year for a kids game! Awful! Not everyone can afford to pay for these games and I have to try and explain to a 2 year old that he can’t play these games and he gets upset.

Years ago, I had this game. I decided to reinstall it and it asks, Subscribe! And I declined the offer, I looked at the games and there is BARLEY any games you can play. I’m not sure if you have to play something to get it but you can only dress up Danny dog. So I went to watch and you could ONLY WATCH A SONG TEASER! Like parents don’t want to pay 45 pounds a YEAR just so their child/children can enjoy the game. The game is just taking our money . Especially of a KIDS show and you have to PAY to watch the new episodes or clips of the show. Like you can watch them for free! So why can’t we watch them free there?! I hope most parents agree with Me. And most parents with big families can’t even AFFORD this subscription. I’m just laughing so hard of how much they want 😂. Like when I played it last time it was amazing, there were lots of games to play but I don’t remember the watch section.

I’ve cancelled this subscription as I’ve lost the sound on the app despite trying the usual tricks of downloading it again. My granddaughter was disappointed so to avoid a fuss I’ve cancelled it. A pity because she was enjoying it.
To add to this I’ve had a new i update on my iPad which seems to have resolved the problem. Fingers crossed!

Before I downloaded this app my life was at a low point, stacey had just left with the kids, my father had recently passed and I lost my job due to the pandemic. I never thought that I would escape the darkness my life was in, then one day I saw this app while browsing the app store. It was nominated app of the day for the 36,000th time this month, I thought “surely it can’t be that great, right?”. So I gave the app a download and the second it finished installing, god himself decended from the heavens and blessed me with his eternal light, my wife came back, I got a job at nasa and he resurected my father. I owe everything I have in my life to this app. Thank you peppa pig <3.

I had to delete then reinstall to get rid of dark Halloween themes and games, ages after Halloween.
When you pay so much more for monthly you expect more things like this to auto-removed as they were auto applied when Halloween ended.
Also there was no choice. Not everyone wants spooky Halloween themss for their kids oepa in a black /whitch wizard style hat etc and as far as I now there was zero choice they just applied - and not removed without deleting the whole app.

This isn’t a flaw against Apple Family Subscriptions, as iCloud clearly says that the purchase is shared with my children, therefore it’s a complete lack of consideration for families with multiple children of the age Peppa Pig is geared for. And of course if one child wants to play Peppa Pig they all do, with lack of subscription sharing this makes it very painful for the wallet and the ears when screaming ensues.
Please developers. Have a care. This is a choice not to support Apple Family Subscription not a coding inability.

The app is good and the seasonal updates keep my daughter entertained throughout the year. But, it is VERY glitchy. Games & exercises frequently fail to download or crash, which is really difficult for my three year old to understand. It also slows the rest of my phone if the app remains open in the background.

I downloaded this onto my daughters Samsung tablet as she loves Peppa Pig. When I tried to download it onto my phone it was asking me to subscribe again to gain full access to everything. Because I had already paid for full access on her tablet I didn’t expect to have to pay again for full access onto my iPhone. Very disappointed that I’m not able to sign in to different platforms to be able to use over multiple devices. Apart from this my daughter loves it.

It's sad that I couldn't even get into the game because I'm only a child myself but wanted to download this app for a few hours to entertain my little step sister who doesn't come round very often but was disappointed when i had to pay if they care about kids so much they would give it for free or at least much less than 7.99

Great, but no one wants to spend that kind of money on a phone app for toddlers. Please make this cheaper or have the ability to unlock more games for minimal money so that you get the best of both worlds. Maybe 99p per game or something? So people can unlock a few? Stop trying to cash in and make it more accessible.

I paid for the yearly subscription. My son loves this app, it keeps him entertained and it’s educational. I’ve not noticed any glitches and he has had it for a few months.

Good app if you subscribe. App is updated with a different theme depending on time of year which is a nice little feature although they seems to have given up on this and we’re stuck with a snowy Christmas scene at the moment. It’s ridiculous but it’s actually grating on me, it’s nearly April!

There is a good range of games for my 2 year old to play, however its not worth the £4.99 a month which means Im paying £60 a year for this. There should be more choices and regular updates. Ive updated and its still Xmas season on the game. I wouldnt recommend if being honest because its pricey.

We like the app in general, however the subscription does not have available the family sharing. This is very stupid and it limits the number of devices our child can use this app with. Tried to find a way to contact the provider about this but no way to reach them at all.
We have already cancelled the subscription, just thought I would share this so others don’t fall for it.

My 2 year old loves this so much so that I decided to subscribe to get all the content. This morning she asked for it and nothing showed up! You still have the three sections which shows up as normal, but you press one and it goes to a blank screen. Nothing loads up! I even deleted the app and reinstalled it to make sure it wasn’t a glitch. This is unacceptable especially since I am a paying customer. I was glad to pay for the app if it was working, in its current state it’s a 1 star! I’ll wait a bit but if nothing changes I will request my money back and I will be uninstalling the app.

Imagine it’s limited for older children but we love the game. It has all the different types of games from colouring /counting/coordination/puzzles/colouring/books/videos...good for all parts of the brain.
Yes it is expensive and should be a £30 bought game not a subscription time limit.

My daughter loved this app when I first downloaded it. Soon noticed that you have to pay for half of it. She quickly got over the fact she couldn’t play certain games. However a few weeks later and the games she was playing for free has suddenly changed and are now locked. She is very upset that she can’t play the games she originally loved and doesn’t understand why. The yearly subscription is a rip off! I wouldn’t mind a one time payment.

I’m 13 and this game is perfect, it’s teaching me the diameter of a Ferris wheel and also how to deal with lack of vitamin d! As peppa is very pink so what she should alternatively do is let the sun hit her skin instead of wearing a pig costume, would love it if daddy pig wasn’t large because it gives the assumption that every father pig is overweight

The game is lovely and my daughters really wanted to try the full version. I was prepared to pay for them to have it but was disappointed to see that family sharing of the purchase is not allowed. I am not going to pay double. Also it’s not possible to install the paid subscription on a child’s iPad, only on one logged in as an adult and I need my iPad for work. It’s a bit of a shame. Uninstalled it when they got tired of the free stuff.

My son absolutely loves peppa pig at aged 22 months and going through autism assessment he is an obsessive child. All he loved was watching peppa pig all day. With the fact that he struggles to communicate this game has helped him to relax and not get as frustrated. It is so nice to see how clever he is on it when he lacks in communication. I think the subscription is a high price to pay, but for my son who can’t communicate and is obsessive, I feel I have to pay it to improve his skills and to prevent his anger and upset as it is the biggest thing that calms him down. I just wish it was a bit more cost friendly.

Whilst it’s a fantastic looking App, and I was excited to find a British English speaking app for child development. The alphabet pronunciation isn’t consistent, A is for, B is for etc. Sometime the “for” is pronounced as “f”, and sometimes spoken as “for”. For example, A is f apple (note, lowercase F sound). For developing children, I’d much prefer the speaking to be consistent with the use of the word “for”. A is for, B is for. It would raise that spoken English standard and clarity that the Peppa Pig cartoon achieves so well.

I’m very annoyed with the game, I paid money just to occupy my kids!but no! When you open the app it asks you for all your personal information(when’s your birthday, how old are you) and also half of the games are locked! What’s the point of paying money for a game for your kids then half of the levels/games are locked! Are they trying to take money off you or something!? Because it sounds like it does! I would advise reading all the reviews and star ratings before wasting your money! I would rather people to save their money and spend it on what they need than spending it on this cr*p game! So I’m sorry but I’m giving it a 1 star!😡😒

Update (3 stars) - the loading screen is improved in 2.4.7 (my complaint was based on 2.4.6).
There are still some issues - occasionally the sound will cut out and the only way to get it back is to force quit the app.
Also, I’d like to see an option to make it harder for young children to accidentally stop a video or go back. A long press mode would solve it.

When you have a two year old who is tired and crying and the only way to cheer them up is by letting them watch Peppa, the absolute last thing you want when you open the app is a loading screen that goes through a very long ‘pre loading’ stage that has to download a large amount of data before you can even get into the app.
To the developers - I’m a developer myself, it’s absolutely not necessary to have an installing stage at the start. Either include all the data in the app to begin with (so that it’s all ready to go when you start the app), or do some background loading so that it doesn’t interfere with the usability.
No idea who green lighted such a bad design decision, but the number one priority for this type of app should be to allow quick instant access to playing videos.

I’m going insane, thought this was a free app then to find out I will be charged after 7 days free trial, I’ve been searching and searching for two hours a way to cancel subscription before I get charged. And it’s impossible been trying to google it as the online website is no help and it says to go through settings and click subscriptions and press turn off auto renew but it says I’m not subscribed to anything because it’s a free trial!! So I have to wait to be charged before I can cancel it :( I’m devastated and frustrated as haven’t got the money or time for this!

Addition to previous review. Frequently glitchy. Screens without back buttons. Dead ends. Current Easter home screen is a dead page. Cross to close doesn’t work nor does link. Happens so often. Have to close and re open app for my kids every time they use it to get them away from a dead page without links out.
Can someone please go through the UX thoroughly before releasing ?!???

My 3 year old twins love this game, but I seem not to be able to share the yearly subscription I purchased with my partner on her iPhone who I family share the App with. This is most disappointing as there is no way we can justify buying another annual subscription. It’s a real shame as my kids will lose out not being able to play this on my partners device... :(
3 stars awarded due to lack of this share functionality. Would normally get full 5 if the share function worked as designed across family member devices.

We are on the second day of our one week trial, and we’ve barely been able to get any use out of this app because it crashes continuously. I’ve never known an app to file as often as this one does. I sense there is some reasonable content on the app, but I’m afraid it doesn’t work reliably enough to actually see! One area that seems a little disappointing is that we expected it to be full episodes where as there are only clips. Given that we are paying a subscription, I would expect it to be full episodes, as these clips can easily be accessed elsewhere.

This app was supposed to offer a 7 day trial. The purpose of which was to see if my son enjoyed it enough to make the full purchase worth while, he did not so subsequently we wished to cancel the subscription only to see the payment taken 2 days early! Why offer a trial if this is not honoured ? I do not believe that this app offers good value for money and this was my opinion before I was charged.

So I downloaded the app a while ago now and paid for the yearly sub. Two of my children now have their own iPads so I’ve set them up a child’s Apple ID each. Despite the fact family sharing is enabled I can’t share the subscription with them! So you lot expect me to pay for two separate subscriptions!! I don’t think so. That’s just disgusting practice. If I have the subscription on my account then that should transfer to a child’s Apple ID as it all comes under my family sharing.

So once again I need to write to you! What have you done to this app. You got it working just fine. Now it’s totally bust-on BOTH my iOS devices, so it’s not just one incident.
Why do you do this? Stop tinkering!!!!!
My frustration is borne out of having a very disappointed little girl.
You open the app, scroll through the options (why seem MUCH reduced-was your tinkering simply a way to reduce what you give us? Preparing to charge us more???) Then you attempt to click on something to do/play. Then nothing. Nothing works. Can’t play any of the games, click on the colouring tab-nothing opens. All the same. It WAS working fine. Now nothing at all. And why the blinking flip would you think it’s a good idea to completely change the menu system anyway when your target audience are two year olds??????
