I have been playing this game since it came out. Let me tell you something the lite to upgrade to the pro is so worth it for £1.99. This game is almost the best racing game on mobile.

Here are the positives:

1. Watching the AI race is so fun .

2. Adding liveries, helmets and logos.

3. The safety car .

4. The pit stop animations .

5. Awesome graphics.

6. Adding your own team.

Here are some things to be added:

1. When racing I would like a replay camera option in the settings to you can watch the action whilst racing.

2. Improve the car models.

Hey Marco. I know you put so much into this amazing app that was literally my childhood. I’d play this game all of the time since it was by far the best formula 1 simulator ever created. But since 2023, it changed unfortunately.

I know you received a lot of complaints but the app was perfect as it was and I know other people can also vouch for that. This new game isn’t as good. For example the braking is frustrating, the game is now extremely difficult, and the curbs are so high.

Not only that but I can’t control which 20 cars are racing. It’s just not as good as it used to be.

Ways to improve from a players point of view:

One idea is, like I say, controlling who can race and who can’t. This means I can play a f1 race with 20 chosen drivers or an Indy car race with 26 chosen drivers.

This leads me onto the second idea. What if you could save selected files of different drivers and car specs. For example I could have my f1 file with fast cars and the chosen drivers and the Indy car or f2 with different drivers and car power.

Make the game simpler. It used to just be an easy laid back game that I could enjoy as a 10 year old and now it just seems overly complicated and difficult. It just needs to have the simple controls back.

I know how much you put into this game Marco and from all of the players who have played this and me - we thank you for this wonderful game. It’d be good if you did a nascar game or something similar but that’s a bit too far 😂. But anyway, thanks Marco and I hope you get back to me. Ciao.

I have to admit, for a phone this is a very good good game… credit to the developer where due. However, it could be even better.I got a list of suggestions: more adjustable settings such as tyre temp and a more flexible range of tyre wear, revamped system on steer assist (which actually works well with the ai) and doing the 5 second penalties in the pits when you box. All in all, it’s a great game nonetheless.

With F1 2016 well out of date and with bad AIs, with F1 Mobile drastically watered down to force people to get the Xbox/PlayStation version, and with Real Racing 3 running an extortionate freemium model, Monoposto is the best mobile racing game out there at only £2. Despite being low-key and independent.

You can modify the opposition to make it seem like you’re racing the F1 grid, including livery, names, even helmets and driver numbers, as well as a car and driver performance rating, separate to the master rating.

I would like to particularly commend the 2023 update — the track layouts are now identical to the real-life ones, with scenery and elevation much improved. The car design isn’t much away from the 2023 F1 car either.

The reason why my review is only four stars is the cars are REALLY hard to drive. Please excuse me if I’m just not that good, but I’ve seen other people with similar comments. If you race without assists, the car veers wildly between under and oversteer, making crashes inevitable with the wall and other cars. Race with assists, even some, and the car seems to drive itself. And the AIs are very hard to catch, as they go around perfectly while you’re desperately trying to keep the car on the track.

But still, a must-get for the racing enthusiast. Well done to the developer, and I’m sure this great game will continue to improve.

In my opinion, Monoposto is one of the best racing games out there for mobile. There is great attention to detail and the new updates have really uplifted the game.

My only suggestion (like other reviews I have seen) is that there is a lack of career mode. This would provide another aspect to an already amazing game and I think that the developers should consider this.

I don’t normally write reviews, but it felt right to write one in this instance as I think this game deserves more recognition.

I’ve had this app for a number of years, really enjoyed playing it as it has improved immensely from the original version - that is until 2023.

Whilst the graphics & tracks are a lot more accurate, with inclines, beautiful detail (check the Spa circuit) and better car/driver editor features with upload options - the single player racing is now much harder and not as enjoyable, even in easy mode - in fact it’s really frustrating as the older version was not perfect but a lot easier to play. The auto-braking spoils the experience now and the grass verges send you in a ridiculous spin if you drift off-track. Also overtaking seems very difficult to achieve even with a superior car and in the DRS zone. My car has also retired a couple of times simply by getting stuck on the raised curves due to the braking.

As others have mentioned the scores & coins gained in the multiplayer option has gone too which is a bit disappointing… I can see they’ve tried to make it more realistic, which visually they have done but I’m hoping the devs will realise that playability was what made Monoposto appealing and look to update it to something like it was. For now it’s in the pits for me.

I’ve been a long time player, and I have generally liked the new updates (new graphics, new liveries, drs and ERS etc.) but the changes to the AI have the made the campaign mode almost unplayable.

The AI never try to avoid you and just go through you making it impossible to race cleanly. It also makes it very hard to finish a race without crashing out. They are far too aggressive

The AI in 2.62 and 2.63 were very good. It was still competitive without being impossible to race.

The AI also don’t slow down for VSC as immediately as you do meaning they pass you and you can’t do anything about it

This is an amazing game with great graphics and car models. The amount of customisation is really nice and means you can do basically whatever you want with the opposition. Only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because of the steering assist. If you run it at 0, the car is undriveable because of the chronic understeer you get and you have no chance against the AI. This means you have to run it quite high but that makes the car feel a bit unnatural as the car turns in to corners without any steering input. Other than that though it’s up there as one of the best mobile racing games and well worth buying

This is certainly one of the best, if not the best racing game I’ve played. The tracks are very individual, and mostly a challenge to driver. A few improvements: 1. Used to be really good and I really enjoyed playing it so I bought the full game. Now they have completely ruined it and I don't play it at all anymore. Response: The graphics were quite good in the previous game because you didn't have the weird speed graphics so it is quite hard to see. Also, the steering wheel control was really good and now it has been removed. The design of the cars is very cool but i feel like the proportions were quite off and the cars are too small. What I recommend is put the cars back to what it was before and just change the car in little parts. Also, probably add the steering wheel control again. And also take away the wind graphics to show the speed. But, the liveries thing is very cool. And the look of the car when you aren’t racing looks good apart from it doesn’t look big enough. Also if you dont change it, would it be possible to have my money back or not?

Only started playing this recently and I really like how accurate it is to current F1 seasons. However I would love to see track improvements as they generally don’t resemble the real tracks at all and it becomes a little confusing for well known tracks.

Other than that I think this game captures everything a mobile game should and the response from the developers in the other reviews is reassuring that all feedback is seen.

I’ve given three stars just because I want to give you a chance to fix it. Every time I do a race in Championship, in 7 laps I have to pit at least 4 times, whereas the others haven’t pitted yet. In fact they don’t pit! For 56 laps! Really? I’m having to pit non-stop for 56 laps in Australia whereas they don’t pit!? I can’t play the game without losing, because every time I come into the lead, I’m pitting a lap later and going down to 20th! Also, the difficulty is unrealistic. The best drivers on the game can’t defend, are slow, and even with a power of 10 at 100% advanced, can’t hold me back at a power of 7 with 95% advanced! That’s just like a Mercedes losing the lead to a Haas! Please guys, fix this game, otherwise I will edit it to a one star. 😑

It runs really well and gives a good feeling of speed. Would have given 5 stars but fighting your way through the pack invariably ends with someone hitting you from the back. Would like a career mode through different seasons. You have a choice of 5 different tyres for qualifying, not sure which ones are wet, and then on race day you end up with tyres you did not use in qualifying. Apart from these I enjoyed the racing

This is by far the best f1 game out there, but a bit more realism and similarities to real world tracks would be nice. Belgium has the iconic S of Eau Rouge and Radillon but would be nice if it was actually uphill to make it more iconic. Azerbaijan has the big long straight to the finish but it’s nowhere near as tight a circuit. It needs to be narrower with no run off area but just the walls either side of you, it would be nice to have that nice sharp corner into turn one too instead of such an open one. Otherwise the tracks are great. Monaco is narrow and features iconic corners too and Singapore is just as tricky. Would be nice if Bahrain, Singapore and Abu Dhabi were all at night like the real races too and just a few more clever features like high kerbs on certain tracks and iconic features of real world circuits.

This game is great to play if you’re some kind of psychopath that enjoys smashing other cars out of the map. However, please improve the tracks a little because they’re a little unrealistic (ie: some tracks can be completed in less than a minute), the general racing line of the ai could be improved, introducing slipstream and a safety car. Thank you for this game!

This version 2.11 update had several glitches after release, which was disappointing. As of today, this issues has been resolved! Apart from better graphics, I still prefer older version. Overall, fantastic game!

Love the new update graphics look great and the game plays really well. How about a multi player option even if it’s just wifi or online would be even better.

Keep up the great work well worth buying beats these free racers that then want a fortune to upgrade cars.

So I played the first race, it stuttered, only 2 laps then I discovered the graphics and everything changed! Running in 60fps, facing distance between 5% and 100% and AI difficulty! Every track, championship really is an amazing game! Well worth the buy!

The ONLY issue I have is, there is no career mode, only a championship mode with drivers already(in the full version change team names and drivers). I would love a career mode, a mode where you yourself are a driver and you can start in the worst team, and progress to better teams! This would be great fun! Finally just a small thing, not really needed but would improve the game dramatically is an R&D for championship and hopefully a career mode in the future. Upgrading your car to be the best and sticking with the team you started.

Even though there’s no career mode and no R&D would FULLY recommend buying! Would be 5 stars with the updates I mentioned! Easily best F1 racing game!

May not have the high end graphics of RR3 or Gearclub, but this a great little game. Spend a bit of time getting used to the car handling and you can have some great races and championships. You can also make it as easy or hard as you wish. Would recommend. Good stuff developer.

By far the best racing app I’ve played. Easy to adapt to, and enough there to keep you coming back. Track designs are excellent, though obviously missing some of the more famous corners.

If I had to pick fault, the sim-drivers are ridiculously aggressive (they will always choose driving into you over hitting an apex), and it is virtually impossible to not be overtaken by the ‘Mercedes’ and ‘Ferrari’ cars from the start line. Further, if it’s possible to develop, a career mode would be a welcome addition.

On the whole though a great app, and well worth paying for for the full version.

Plays pretty well although I'd improve a couple of things:

- Starts; impossible to start without being overtaken by at least one 'Ferrari' and 'Mercedes' if you're anywhere near the front row

- Damage physics; a bit bland until you accidentally clip a pit wall on exiting a corner and take the front wheel off

- Computer drivers can bump you and it's only your car effected speed wise

Other than that, worth the money for the full version and you'll get plenty of play from it.

Best game I have ever played there are so many different options of how easy to hard you want it and you can change the tyres and aerodynamics of the car. Safety car could be added and some different ways to play the game.
