It crashes every time you try to buy a Premium Pass from Europe, and without it you only have 5 lives instead of 10, so you won’t be playing for long. I like this game, so I thought it’d be worth it for me to buy the premium every month, except… I press buy, and a message appears:

“Authentication required European legislations requires banks to authenticate certain transactions” - this forces me out of the app to buy it, and when I’m back on the app the purchase is not there BUT I have been charged!

This happens every single time, it is very annoying, and every time I have to write to them to get my purchase. But the last time they said that according to them I have received it, so I am furious, also because I have told them many times about the issue and they never acknowledged it, fixed it, nor prevent it. It would be as easy as letting buy the pass with “diamonds” instead of money, because it is still possible to buy diamonds even if that crashes too.

All the stuff in there is expensive and irrelevant, will not let you go pass a certain level because you have got to pay. Don’t be fooled on the ads they do, they are totally unrealistic to what the game is actually about, if I could go in a time machine I would go back to 20 minutes before I downloaded this game. Great game to play, but some levels are so hard, you cant ever get past them, therefore, you lose your lives trying. Then on top of that, you have to wait ages for your lives to be replenished, so you can’t play the game until they are. Therefore you lose interest playing, as you can’t get passed levels, or have to wait for more lives which is so frustrating.

I’ve been playing this game for a few weeks and I was really enjoying it. However, a few days ago suddenly ads started popping up after every two turns I took. This is an unreasonable amount of advertising and it has made gameplay frustrating and unenjoyable. I contacted the app developers to check if so many ads were meant to pop up as, honestly, I’ve never played a game that forces you to watch so many ads. They haven’t got back to me so I will be uninstalling this app. Avoid this app, it’s no fun with all these ads spamming you every couple of minutes.

This game is exactly the same with “property brothers”. Even the graphics of the characters are the same, except that, instead of Scott's, 2 other dudes are contracting. So if you find that game boring, you shouldnt try it either.

It seems like the creators forget what's the point of a game with the title “home designing”.

You have to play tones of boring games to get enough score to decorate your home!

And actually when you're looking to it you'll find out that you are NOT decorating anything. You are just busy to get enough scores with other games the whole time.

The life refresh rate is the only downside!

The game is great, it’s one of the only games I’ve got on my phone that I go back to consistently. I think I’ve had it for a good couple of years now, however my only gripe with it is the rate at which lives refresh. Half an hour to gain 1 life (2 1/2 hours to regain all 5) makes the game incredibly frustrating to play, especially on the harder levels. I’m fully aware they want their players to buy gems in order to refresh them which makes me even more reluctant to do so. It would be a bonus to gain a life when you complete a ‘hard’ level.

Please post my latest review as the game has been totally ruined again !!!!! Why are you continuing with this rally garbage which everyone hates??? The chest challenge was restored for a couple of weeks and everyone was happy again but its gone again this week. I’m so glad I didn’t buy the piggy bank. Why couldn’t the rally have been removed instead?? I am so disappointed I really thought the devs had listened to the feedback and gave the players what they wanted. As someone else said this is the death of the game which is such a shame as we were all really enjoying it and motivated to play and spend money. Not now. No point in playing. I loved this game, played continuously for months, then as the levels got harder and more ‘updates’ changed the rules of gaining gem. There was no further opportunities to ‘win’ gems only a buy option and for people like me who want to play and not spend, it has become increasingly difficult and frustrating. Disappointed is the least way to describe what this game has become. I rarely play nowadays, a very sad occasion.

Would recommend playing up to level 1,000 however after that its the developers choice, if you win and continue, or lose and lose interest.

We come on, do the 2 ridiculous attempts we get then sign off until the next rally. There’s no team spirit, too many inactive players within teams because the rally is awful. Ok, I’ve played this game since the beginning, it’s always been my fave. However… these team rally events, are rubbish! You get 2 attempts at extremely difficult boards, then lose 90 trophies when you can’t complete them. Matched up against teams of 50 when we only have 16(we are a new team) is unfair. There are no videos to gain 2 extra moves. The team chests were way better, they encouraged you to actually complete main levels. Now we just pop on to do your 2 rally levels that you can barely pass. Storm 8 you are ruining this game.

I have played, PAID & loved this game for many years.

Unfortunately it seems by supporting this app and possibly aiding the new updates via the many payments I have made, has penalised a player like myself.

For over a month now, I have been unable to earn lives with weekly challenges, or even join in with the challenges?? After querying with support, apparently this is a deliberate update in order to give other players more chances???? 🤷🏼‍♀️ to say how unfair I think this is would be an understatement!!!!

I find this a good fun game to play and l enjoy designing the various room on all the challengers and events

The latest updates however have took some of the enjoyment away as on the weekend specials which start on Thursdays, you can no longer win the extra free hours game play to help you win the keys and tickets which makes it harder to complete the special event

The developers are also adding a lot of extras onto the game which evolves you spending real money to buy things for the gameplay and the prices for the add on’s are not always affordable

I downloaded this game because I like interior design, this is what drew me in, not the match 3 puzzle. I don’t mind these little challenges because it provides an alternative to decorating and you never get bored. However, this game should be more about decorating and less about matching. The levels are too hard, it takes 30 mins for 1 life to reappear and the prices are way too high for what you can buy. And it won’t be enough to make a one-time purchase, you have to pay again and again to play this game uninterrupted. The graphics in this game are truly high quality and beautiful and I love decorating the rooms. It’s just so frustrating that I can’t play as long as I want because the puzzle game is so unrewarding and difficult.

I love this game and have been playing for quite sometime. You can’t fault the graphics and design , they are brilliant. On the disappointing side some of the levels are ridiculously difficult to get through to enhance your money. Several times you are unable to actually finish the design level in the allocated time. Obviously people can’t be on the game 24/7. Another disappointing factor is that I’m currently trying to get a front door... over $6,000 for one addition. A little overpriced! Some additions are ridiculously priced to achieve.

This would most definitely be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️if these flaws (in my opinion) were addressed

Really enjoy this game & have been playing it for a long time. However I’m on level 1618 & have played 3 games at least that I know I’ve already played.....but cheeky.

Also, there should be a tweak option upon completing rooms before they are showcased to a client. There are many times that I’m unsure whether I like the room I’ve designed & then unknowingly select the final change, with no option to review what I’ve done.

It will be an amazing plus for the game if we had a second chance to finish the timed rooms or decorations. Lives are not enough and levels too hard to pass and finish the timed ones.

I was very close to finish most of them, like one or two items were missing but because of the lack of time, couldn’t make it. It is really a shame.

Either give us a second chance to finish them (pick up from were we left it off) or more days to do so.

Love the design features of this game but it is so frustrating the more you progress the harder it gets. And there is no way you can get more lives unless you spend real money which I’m not doing. Nearly every review complains about this. My piggy bank is full but asking me to pay for it when I’ve earned it through winning levels....no chance! I’m on level 1137 and been stuck on this same level for over a week! Why make it so hard? I think it’s time to delete.

This is a good little game that is spoiled by the increase in difficulty as you progress through the levels. It means you go through the 5 lives in no time and are left unable to play for ages. The game is practically forcing you to buy lives, which I refuse to do, so I'm left endlessly waiting. The levels that are have the limited time events are almost impossible to finish as they are so difficult and again you lose your 5 lives so quickly and then have to wait so long, the time runs out. It takes all the fun out of the game if you can never complete things.

The choice of furniture and the (lack) colour scheme is also very limited.

It has the potential to be a really good game and it's just spoiled. I guess you're only wanting players who are willing to pay.....I'm not one of them!

I started playing this game and it gave me the first room/tutorial. I was getting a bit annoyed with the fact you had to do a puzzle per item that needed placing and then as they price up you need to complete two puzzles per item. I was willing to continue and started the second room when it then told me not only do you need to do several puzzles per item but you also have energy limits to deal with meaning you cannot endlessly play it. I was hoping for a good decorating game but this is more of a puzzle game with a sideline of decorating because the amount of puzzles you need to do takes over the decorating enjoyment, especially as there are only 3 items each to chose from. I think it either needs to be re-marketed as a puzzle game with a fun decorating element or change it to one puzzle per item rather than money earned by the puzzles and add maybe 6 different chairs/sofas/tables etc rather than just 3 if this is going to stay as an actual decorating game.

My 12 year old daughter asked to download the game, it seemed a pretty innocent game given the puzzle type levels and the home design. As with all games you expect to see adverts for other games, however I was devastated to find adverts for interactive storyboard apps speaking to selling your virginity, carrying a surrogate baby and showing animated adults in a hot tub to name but a few- this is totally inappropriate and incredibly irresponsible of the developer to allow this type of advert on the app. I have deleted the app and will not be allowing any more downloads from this developer. I tried to give no stars in the rating but it doesn’t allow this.

Don’t download this app it’s good at first but then it wants you to buy everything once you get about two projects into it. Also, the levels are way too hard and you keep losing lives pointlessly then you have to wait forever just to get one more life. Then sometimes you get this ad which won’t go away so you have to restart your phone and it’s just a pain.

I think that there should be more freedom in furniture choices and you shouldn’t have to buy everything with coins and gems. Also you shouldn’t have to buy anything. And there shouldn’t be the levels that are like candy crush.

It’s fine, but I only got it today. I will do a review a month later to update you though. You have to do the thing like in candy crush, and that’s how you get coins to make your customers happy and stuff but every item ( so far you only pick from 3 luxurious things) is luxurious and it’s quite fun. Right now I rate this 3/4 stars as it’s an ok game but they have not asked for me to buy anything with real money yet so quite good! 👍🏻🤷🏼‍♀️🙂 good SO FAR. I will check with you in a months time!

Read this review! This game is the best! You get to design stuff and to get money, you play puzzles. Also if you hate ads, this is for you. There’s no adds. One thing I will say is that once you’ve collected lots of gems, your piggy bank is full and you have to pay to get it back. Also, it would be better if there was more options of what furniture to put in. Limited time games are cool too. I hope you enjoy this game as much as me! Remember, there is no adds!

The game started really funny and very entertaining, however when the challenges come up started to be so hard to be completed on time and at level 687 it’s really Impossible, my suggestion is when we complete hard levels and get double money we should get double cupons or stars... also in 3 days we should have only one challenge not 2. I have spent a lot of time playing this game and I have got to a high level, however there are a few things that make it a pain and the main one is the dreadful customer support. The game is glitchy, you complain... they ask you to upload screen recordings, which does not seem possible? Only photos can be uploaded from what I can see. They take ages to respond, don’t actually read the message you’ve written and ask you to do things you have already told them you have done. The videos you have to watch in between levels are excessive, so they’re really getting their money’s worth out of the player, but giving very little in return. Really, is this the best you can do...?

First few levels I really enjoyed but the levels become so insanely difficult you have to spend money to pass them. It lets you collect gems for more lives and power ups but once you’ve collected a full piggy bank of gems you have to spend money before you can collect anymore. It allows you to collect 600 then it stops collecting until you spend £2.99 to empty, but the power ups cost 150 gems so £2.99 only gets you 4 lots. And the levels get so difficult sometimes you need this many. It’s a cool game but a money machine!! Disappointed

This game was amazing before. The levels are hard but that didn’t bother me too much. But having to use gems in the limited time challenge for clearly superior items is a terrible idea. The best part of the game is the freedom to design, and even with that sometimes the items fall short. So, having to spend gems for furniture is ludicrous. I hope that this is rectified because I otherwise don’t mind spending gems, but there are fundamentally better similar design games to play if this one starts getting expensive.

Play the game till I got level 200 (did it 5days) thats how much I was enjoying the game but it had a loaded of glitches. Spent money buying gems and thought I should uninstall and reinstall it to help with the glitches. HOWEVER, when I reinstalled the game I lost everything and was back at level one. Then I started again and the support team got me back to level I was on but NEVER got back my gems which I paid real money for. Customer support said they needed my ID number in order to get me back to where I was. Only problem with that is the ID number is unique to each download. So when I uninstalled the game I hadn’t made a record of it. The next issue is that when I began playing the game three options for design were free in that you didn’t have to spend 250 gems to get the third option. Which is the nicest one and the one the client always wants. I had made it all the way to the hotel room in the first download before that changed. At the time of the second download it asked almost immediately if not immediately. Now I’ve uninstalled and won’t being going back to as I can’t be bother. Also will be contacting apple about a refund.

Got to the Footballer’s Bathroom and all of the sudden “optional premiere decisions” appeared of 250 gems per option (you start with 90 and barely earn any).... That’s a big yikes. I tried to just skip forward but was then immediately met with ANOTHER 250 GEMS. That’s a big no no so I go go. Probably not coming back because as much as I enjoyed the first few hours I don’t really like the idea that once I get to the pregnant lady I’m going to be guilt tripped into oblivion and basically blackmailed into paying or facing the unavoidable cut scene of her being very upset/disappointed. Not really into people who do that to others, especially in games available to kids/the elderly/anyone with a heart.

Developers, I would have rated 5 but I guess not(Sorry!)

I’m sorry for not rating 5* but in the end there is a reason for two less stars. The levels are kind of harder than what makes a matching game fun and that is 1 of 2 drawbacks. When I finish a design I’m always proud enough to show my parents and they get inspired by my designs while they renovate parts of my house from time to time. The lives are the second and final problem. The levels are so hard that you waste your lives and have to wait for a frustratingly long time for one life. When you finally get a life it gets wasted again and you have to wait another long time. The idea of the game and graphics are the best of any matching game but when you don’t have enough lives to enjoy yourself you can’t play such a good game anymore. I hope you developers listen to this. The short way to say this whole thing is that the levels need to be less hard and shorten the live gain time. Disappointing for such a quality rich game.
