It’s true. These extra buttons once run out you have to buy.
You’re unable to complete some games unless you use it.
One game has repeated itself already and it’s one you have to shuffle or you can’t finish the game.
This game would be better if they didn’t use this feature it’s annoying as not all words can be finished unless it automatically shuffles or forces you to shuffle the letters around.
Because of this I’m going to try a different app instead.
Also. It’s not English language. But American or spelt incorrectly.

Today I was asked if I wanted to load my progress? But on the iPad I had reached 1910 or more and the syncing would have put me back to 1893 or thereabouts where I was on my iPhone, so I kept saying no. But then there was this terrifying message that I would lose data.

Update … since the last version updated on my iPhone the game has become so unstable and slow to load I’ve given up trying. Freezes on loading and during play. Will come back in a couple of weeks and see if they’ve fixed the problem - if not will unload and try a different game.
Have enjoyed getting to level 3000+ but as a UK user I find the use of American English VERY annoying. Many brands are so US centric and unheard of outside the US it makes guessing impossible and if you don’t know cilantro is coriander and eggplant is aubergine you’ll never get far. PLEASE consider the rest of the world when composing games.

The game is decent enough to let me wind down at the end of the day. The only real problem (apart from the insistence on showing adverts for the same games over and over) is that it seems to be based on American English, for example fibre and not the UK spelling of fibre. There are also examples of American words that many in the UK might not think of in relation to the subject of the round.

Am on level 2700 and not spent a penny. Ads are annoying but you can cancel most ads 10/15 seconds in. Watch left hand top corner, small double arrow icon appears. Click on it and it takes you to next page. After 3/5 seconds a X appears in right corner, click on that and ad finishes in half the time.

Played for 15 minutes or so and had to sit through close to ten lots of adverts including 5 for Royal match that last forever without actually doing anything. If anything is likely to make me not download Royal match it is this! The adverts are so numerous and so long I’ve closed the game down in disgust.
From seeing the adverts for this I was expecting a full screen of words but 30 odd levels in it is still only 4 or five words. It does not live up to what was advertised.

I wanted to play this game but pop ups and horrible noise make it impossible. Why don’t you put the price of playing visible after a couple of games? At the time of writing I’m onto Level 128.
No complaints so far. Yes there’s regular ads but thats to be expected if you download a free game.
Have barely had to spend in-game coins, or use up hints or anything else either, so there’s been no pressure of running out of coins/hints as opposed to some other games where you then end up stuck waiting to watch your next free video. If you stay patient long enough you’ll find the word you need - or sometimes I’ll ignore the game for a few hours, come back and spot that key word right away that begins clearing the level.
Aside from that it’s also great for falling asleep to - if I’m struggling to drift off, I’ll stick this on quickly and the concentration quickly gives you that extra edge of tiredness to fall asleep too. Not the original intention of the game but it’s a good bonus feature in my case.

This game is awesome!!! You get to take part in tournaments and it is highly addictive!! There are no compulsory in-app purchases and every time you exit the buy coins area you get to watch an advert to get coins!!! I’m on level 1412 and have been playing for ages now. This is an amazing game! However, there is one teensy little issue - whenever the Royal Match advert happens it crashes my game and I have to start again. This has been happening a lot recently and there is no option to never see this ad again. However this doesn’t change how awesome this app is!!! 😍😍😍

I don’t know how this stupid app can claim to prevent Alzheimer’s and Dementia. I was using a different app (one that’s actually useful) and an advert for this one came up which specially named Alzheimer’s and Dementia and then said that playing this app helps to keep the doctor way, therefore implying that it can prevent these serious conditions. That is absolutely absurd and I downloaded the app just so that I could leave this review. That is absolutely false advertising, not to mention very offensive.

I love this game and I am hooked!
The ads were terrible so many so I did actually pay to get rid. Which I don’t do often!
The only thing I am disappointed with that it’s stopped saving my progress. I’ve logged in with Facebook and with Apple ID, neither are saving my games. Very frustrating when you’ve used ‘lifelines’ to help with a difficult game to then find when I go back to the game it’s gone back to the beginning but my lifelines I’ve used are missing. Very unfair!!
Please fix this! I did message but that got read and ignored!

Some of the reviews I read were people saying they’d spent so much money on this game, I’ve been playing it for 3 weeks and never once spent money on it, I’ve got loads of coins but rarely need to use them. Addictive game, yes the ads are a bit annoying but you can skip them after about 10 seconds and you don’t get an advert after every single game. Only thing I would suggest to the creators is that sometimes I accidentally use one of the hint features when I didn’t mean to press that button. If there was a confirmation stage after selecting the hint it could stop that happening.

The rounds can take seconds to complete and they are fun, but that fun is killed by having to wait for the 30 second ads between almost every round.
I feel more time is needed to get into the game before being ad bombed so you can decide whether it’s good enough to make a purchase to make it ad free. For me it wasn’t.

I have never experienced such a beautiful game, I absolutely love this game it settles my mind when I get stressed or upset. The one minor setback is that sometimes finding the words don’t make much sense but apart from that this game deserves to be number one calming game the creators of this game certainly deserve a pat on the back!

This game looked promising but once you’ve reached a few levels, it is the same ones regularly coming back.
Plus, you can tell without a doubt that it has been made by people for whom English is not the first language: the clues given at the start of each level are sometimes so grammatically wrong! (and English isn’t my first language either)
The words to find can have absolutely nothing to do with the clue and some words don’t even exist!
You also get an advert at the start of every level.
Still, sort of addicting and really good to send you to sleep!

I adore word games! This one started off being enjoyable, a time filler! Then... after level 50, I noticed I needed to spend more and more to solve the puzzles! Not because I’m thick or challenged, it seems to be designed that way.
After level 60 it became impossible to solve the puzzle without using coins! Guess what? You got it... Money!!!! What a crying shame! A good design, the graphics are excellent, the game play too, yet to progress you need to spend more and more!
So so disappointed and have deleted the game!

Starts too simple but I can see it’s going to get harder. I’m just not prepared to pay £3.99 to get rid of the intrusive full screen ads which don’t allow you to skip straight away and make the X as small as possible.
Let me get to a reasonable difficulty level before annoying me with ads and I might think about it.

Keeps crashing. Screen becomes non responsive can’t select level or menu. Only thing that works is the ad at the bottom. Only way to get it to work is to delete it and reinstall, then will work until you close and reopen when it stops working. Only had problem since I logged in to Facebook on it.
Was going to pay to get rid of ads, as there are way too many ads. But won’t now until it’s fixed.

I have been playing for 2 days know and it’s a really fun and good game especially for your brain the only problem is that there are way to many adverts literally after every single level there’s another advert!

If you’re from the US then this won’t be too bad, as all the words are US spelling. It annoyingly makes up words that do not exist anywhere on the internet. That is why I uninstalled it. I checked several and the did not come up in Google search. I am referring to the bonus words, often three characters long. This is not great.

If you can get over the ads, it’s a pleasant game and easy to play. Now though, it’s displaying a message about choosing an iCloud drive and won’t allow you to continue. Even deleting the game and re-installing doesn’t help. Checked on-line and it’s affected all users. Apparently the bug is being fixed, so I’d suggest waiting for the updated version after 2.7.0.

Have given up with this. Impossible to solve each game without either buying shuffles or enduring TWO ads to earn enough points for a shuffle. You can earn points by finding ‘bonus’ words, but that’s really annoying as it’s a distraction from the main game. There are far to many ads generally. They come up all the time and they’re all 30 seconds or more. It destroys your flow and makes you want to not bother. It’s a money maker for the developer, not a game to enjoy. I realise developers need to earn money but they’ve gone too far with the ads on this one.

This is a fun game but there is far too many adverts, every level has a 30 second ad that you can’t skip past, it’s the same adverts on a cycle. I got to level 45 and deleted it. I couldn’t put up with it. Boring!!! Sort it out. I understand you’ve got to make revenue and I would put up with a few adverts but this is too much and I refuse to pay to have them removed

I haven’t been playing long, but up to now I love the game. It reminds me of another game similar to this. It was harder as it went on, and you had to pay for it. I finished the game and enjoyed It very much. Anyhow I will see if this one lives up to the last one. I would give it full marks at the moment, but who knows , as I get further on if I will feel the same. I hope so, I would recommend it, but as I said ask again in a few days

This game is good, it’s pretty easy. However the enjoyment is killed by so many ads. Every level which up until level 80 has been easy, is followed by an advert. That’s one advert for every 2 mins max of game time.
I will soon get sick of this and imagine others will too. If the developers imagine this will force people to pay for the game to not get the ads, then good luck to them, but it’s off-putting completely to those who’ll first want to test and see if they like the game enough to pay for it..

Developer obviously feels the need to run ads in this app every level .... it DESTROYS the gameplay! AVOID. Yes I know I can “supposedly” remove these annoying ads by paying for the app, however, I feel there is absolutely no need to have to suffer a 30 second Ad after every level which can actually take less time to solve than the length of these annoying adverts! I see this simply as greed and also some sort of way for the developers to force people to pay. This is wrong.
If you want people to pay then charge from the start and don’t force all these unnecessary ads on everyone.
For anyone wishing to remove the 30 second wait just close the game and reopen it if you can suffer the frustrations of having to do so to play this game. Personally I got sick of it and therefore deleted. I know of one other app which is the same as this and you also have to suffer these annoying adverts. I’m sure the developer will reply with the usual copy/paste response but their replies do not solve any issues other than filling their pockets.

I love playing this game but I have found that in the weekly contest there is cheating. Today I was over 1000 points clear of the next person on the leaderboard when I checked. Two games later I checked again - someone had come from way lower down the leader board to overtake me in less than five minutes. It isn’t possible for them to have played the 50 or so games in that time, so the game must cheat you out of your points. Very irritating.

However I think you should monitor who is allowed to advertise. I have ordered from two companies both have been totally inadequate. Items not arriving and using fake shipping company. The other poor quality items and taking weeks to refund.?

I really enjoy playing this game however, it is very easy to buy yourself a “booster pack” to help you get unstuck on a particular level. Whilst these can be only £6 or so, I found that I was “treating myself” at least weekly to these. Had I stayed for the year...? It would have cost me £312 for the year.....staying only around three months I must have spent AT LEAST £72 and I believe it to be a lot more. Final straw and why I have now removed the app was paying three or four pounds this weekend to remove ads....only to find them back again today. It must only have been temporary. Great game but beware all the extra costs!!!!

Heaven help you if you need a shuffle and the ad you are forced to endure for 30 seconds is Solitaire by Brew co. I have suffered thus through 4x30 secs, but no extra points given. Think the new up date is to blame. Like supermarket shopping changing the layout of the store is never better just different or worse.

Love this but wish I could play without music so I can listen to other stuff on iPad while I play. I can turn off the volume of course but then I can’t listen to something else. I paid £2.99 for the ad free version which is well worth it but like so many games it is a shame that a simple purchase is marred by the apparent need to constantly top up buyable features if you want to play the game properly.

I really want to like this, but I’ve found that the screen freezes after I’ve completed a daily puzzle. I’m forced to close and re-open the app, but then it appears that the puzzle has not even been attempted. Also, what happens to all the extra words that I find? Don’t I earn points? I often find up to 50 additional words but it doesn’t appear that I am rewarded for this. Finally, why is it taking my “coins” each time that I play a daily puzzle? Does playing the daily puzzle cost 25 coins a pop?
A bit confusing & seemingly crawling with more bugs than a cheap motel. This has the potential to be an engaging and addicting game, but it really needs a good deep-cleaning.

This word game has blackout on my iPad but I can hear music playing. I deleted the app and got it back but found myself having to start at the beginning again so I just rated it 2 stars because of that problem.
