I am on an level where I can explore further the Home island. But this is asking me to make things such as White paint! Unable without the use of the lever!!!!! It is asking me now as my task to upgrade an building in the section of the island impossible to reach due to needing an lever! I have since found out I have around 10 islands to complete before even finding an lever! Is this for real. How can you create an game where it’s impossible to progress. This takes the fun away from the game and have actually made it bring and uninviting. Remember this game is meant for all ages how do you propose they play this impossible game?? I really enjoyed this game but the islands to complete to be able to suddenly find the lever are impossible. You require such high amounts of items to complete each one it’s a joke. I would have given this 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me. To the developers stop with the generic reply’s we’ve taken time to write down our issues and concerns take the time to head them and actually fix the issues. Level 43 but impossible for another 10 islands to progress whilst being asked to make white paint! Find the broken machine! And now upgrade the shaft! None of which are possible. Had enough myself and my friends will no longer be playing this game or any other you make until they are made for enjoyment play and not making you feel annoyed

(Long story short, I started playing this game because of payment from a game-testing site, it’s enjoyable enough to keep playing with the reward of real cash but I don’t know if I’d want to play afterwards, unless some changes are made!)

The game is addictive enough to make you want to play, and it doesn’t take too long to progress. Most items don’t have a ridiculously long production time, and there’s plenty to do.
BUT, these are some things I would love to see in future updates:
• Ability to personalise and decorate our islands!
Paving, fences, the ability to rotate buildings - these things would go a long way!
• Shorter event islands, longer durations, or better rewards for them.
As others have said you really are racing the clock to get even one event island done, and the reward is usually minimal like a small amount of energy or an item you don’t even want for your island…
• Better “tribe” system?
I really don’t understand the point of the tribes in this game? They would be better if we could share energy or participate more so together.

Love this. I play most days however I’m finding it a bit frustrating. When you have to make so many of a certain item and you can’t get the necessary pieces to make it. It takes forever to get shells and palm logs. Be much more satisfying if these were a little easier to collect. This is the only thing that looses a star for me - otherwise fantastic game! :)

I used ti love this game and spent hours on it.. But as others have said on their reviews it’s all about getting you to purchase.. You used to be able to get a Key after finishing the merchants orders on the ship that was one of the great assets of this game but now the developers have even taken that away now so no other way of getting the additional tools other than winning them when you open the chests.. They used to be so helpful to finish islands and tasks..
To the developer: Please don’t even go wasting your energy replying like you have to others on here missing our points and blatantly not even answering what we have been telling you.. Either you tell us to ho check out your social media pages or you don’t even give us straight answers.. Listen to your customers you might be making money off this game now but in a while you will lose money from us all..

This game used to be great! Now you open it and have to contend with a minimum of 5 pop ups, which then leads into more a few seconds after you think its done! The items needed to make inventory got ao expensive it has taken weeks to progress on something which initially took a day or so to do. The reason, to make you use actual money in the app. Id rather buy a game and not buy add ons personally.

I’ve had this game now for a little over a week! And I like it, the graphics are great, the mini adventures in between are great however the only problem I have with this game is with the energy supply! I understand there are many different ways to get energy but when you need it to complete tasks in home land as well as the quests, there isn’t enough, there are little treasure chests that allow you to watch ads in order to get energy but you get 1 every 7/8 hours? you also can’t get any unless you wait 2 minutes per 1 energy, you can join Facebook but cant send energy to each other?? Like I said I do enjoy this game but the lack of energy variety dulls it down

Great game with beautiful animations. No pop up ads interrupting the game play, ad options are a choice for rewards. Doesn’t lag have played it using my iPad, iPhone SE, X and 14.
I don’t like that some of the production times are very slow making it difficult to fill many of the merchant’s orders especially the timed ones. The island also don’t have enough resources for energy compared to their demands and they disappear in time which is difficult to complete and get the required resources to complete structures for the home island

This could be a better game if there was less time for energy to renew. Like most of these type of games, it’s all based on how much money you have to spend to get more energy and points. Level 12 on the game but most of the items you have to upgrade take so long, it’s ridiculous. You find boxes you need special keys for which again is money based. Only played for a couple days and will be deleting due to the length of time it takes to upgrade your buildings and find the items it takes to upgrade. Salt is only found in boxes that need keys…
Put more starfish or shells out there for the salt. If you can’t come up with better ways to keep people on the game… then it’s pointless I’m afraid.

This is a good game: the graphics are great and the islands are fun to navigate, however, the amount of energy you need to complete each level (island) is ridiculous.
If you want to complete a set of levels in a few days, you *have* to buy the energy packs which, at £2.99 for the cheapest, is very unfair when you’ve been playing the game for a while.
The games energy - without purchase - builds up slowly - and I mean SLOWLY - while the game is idling, but it makes very little difference. I’ve spent *too much* money on energy packs but I’m currently on an island that needs 20 archers to move forward and each archer is 118 energy pieces (2360 in total!!). Even after 2 hours the energy is only up to 42 & it stops at 100 and I’m simply not prepared to spend more, even though I’ve enjoyed the game so far.
Plus, there are, annoyingly, very little opportunities to collect free energy through the game with watching ads to gain more being limited, with up to a 6 hour block between being able to access them or needing to spend energy on *other* items to gain energy, which is really frustrating and counter productive.
Overall, if you want a game that you can dip in and out of over a number of weeks/months, then it’s fine, but it does feel like the makers are purposely trying to get regular players to spend money the further along you get.
There needs to be a lot more ways to gain energy or bigger rewards for players while it’s idling or more mini games with larger energy opportunities. Being asked to join the game’s Insta or FB to have a *chance* at gaining energy is pointless and a bit cheeky. Think of your players, please.

I have really been enjoying this game for many years but have to agree with so many. There are far too many quests which cost far too much energy. Don’t suggest I join the Facebook groups. I have but there are still not enough tips that can magically produce energy unless you spend a fortune. I constantly create food but run out of salt which seems to be the key ingredient in one way or another for food. I’m a pensioner so possibly have more time than a lot to play but you really need to be able to be playing at least every hour and a half to collect all the energy which builds up. It’s just not do-able. We all know you need to make money but I watch loads of adverts which you will be paid for but still nowhere near enough energy is created. We made tribes for no apparent reason. Just wasted rubies doing this. All in all, I can only play at a snail’s pace. I refuse to line the pocket of the developers from my pension.

Agree with a few other reviews on here - I enjoy the game, but the exploratory islands are changed way too quickly so you don’t have enough time to complete them, and then you waste time and energy getting 70% through it to get nothing back. It’s basically forcing you into purchasing additional energy, gold keys or rubies if you want to progress. Now that it’s taking longer for me to level up, it’s becoming slightly boring and repetitive. The shower and toilet keep breaking and the constant repairs eats your resources…and I don’t like how you ‘level up’ certain items (wondertree, fountain of energy etc) and as soon as the event is over they revert back to level 1… some improvements could be made.

I really enjoy the game and find myself playing perhaps a little too often.
I like the game play, the story, the graphics.
I do not like the way it eats my battery power. I have to have the iPad plugged in to play for very long.
I do not like the way it had to have data. What on earth is it doing to need an always on connection.
I really like the way you can earn rubies and energy by the different routes.
For the rather rude commentators on the board - this is not a game that scams you out of money. I see that it uses the established norms for gaining revenue. I confess I have not paid any direct money - I have only watched the ads for gaining extra energy. I like the fact that I can choose this approach and not have it forced on me.
I have enjoyed the different islands. Yes I think that there is a point at which the energy cost to create the different items to progress gets prohibitively expensive in terms of time, effort and not suitable for free progress. But I do not buy into the instant gratification culture - so at that point I spend my energy elsewhere.
Well done to the developers. A game that is interesting and holds my attention.

I paid to buy energy to complete tasks that was my first mistake because if you do this they exploit it by making you do tasks that others are not being asked to do encouraging you to spend more. This is not a level playing field when you are competing to be on the leader board when others are not being asked to open 20 gates to earns points you need. If I paid to open gates it would have been at least 150 yet others were not asked to do the same thing. I am going write a bad review ever day until they treat everyone the same and actually reward the people that pay not punish them

I enjoy this game and have been playing it on and off for some time. However, the longer you play the game the more expensive it gets.
Golden keys are not essential but do help the game along but are only available to buy with real money.
Also, in order to upgrade buildings you need to collect an unreasonable amount of items. For example, ten axes, ten bowls etc. when three or four would make the game move along a bit.
In the expeditions, removing obstacles takes up a lot of energy sometimes sixty or more which gives limited playing time.
I have now reached the point where the five minutes of play is hardly worth opening the game.

I love this game, I have played it for ages but it can be frustrating at times, some islands require so much resource ie 15x700 energy to create I’m level 59 but still my max energy is only 143! Like how are you supposed to achieve these tasks with such a low base energy?! And don’t even get me started about the updates, new features are added constantly which I love but this last one with the puzzles there is nothing to do with spares an update is available to some which lets them trade but I don’t have it meaning in less than 3 days I’m loosing over 800 duplicate pieces with nothing to show for it!

Anyway brilliant game got to really “high” level & lost all my game!!
Reinstalled it, had to start from scratch & got to another highish level but no where near first one! & yet again lost game!! So reinstalled again
I’m on a low level now but just wanted to say, this game is great. You can get enthralled in it lol. Needs tweaking, in that PLEASE make it a bit easier to upgrade storage, & buildings. As it takes forever to collect items to be able to upgrade. Also takes forever to do the quests!!
I know you want people’s money & that you make it harder to do these things but in these times of “hardship” please help us “saddo’s” who love to play your games, out slightly more. lol thank you

This game is one of my favourites but it takes too long to get through an island which is changed every few days so your against the clock to complete many tasks and win something to take home that gives energy. I've managed to win a few but feel that they only give energy once every so many hours plus it stops giving you energy after 30 times have been completed. I think those items won should give you energy indefinitely as you took the time and effort to win them and it would help with completing future islands. There is also the issue of the boosts being too expensive which put me off purchasing them. I've purchased a few but they run out too quickly because it's gives 500 energy and 20 rubies. That's makes it disappointing when trying to complete tasks to gain access to parts of island needed to complete essential tasks.
Please think about giving more energy for us to complete islands.

I have been playing this game for 3 years when I had my first child to get me through the night feeds. I used to be able to complete the challenge islands, along with the goals of chopping down x amount of trees/ rocks ect which would help with resources for home island, now the challenges cost far to many energy to complete and leave you with no resources at the end. You think you have gotten to the end of the island and low and behold there are another 2 to complete again with ridiculous energy prices! In addition the challenge islands are so over crowded it’s hard to see where the crafting buildings are and I find myself clicking on big objects just to find the craft machine, all which takes time which is annoying when utilising 20% off on a timer.
I used to love this game and am getting more and more frustrated with it!

I just read another review and she was saying it was hard to get certain things,, maybe since then you have changed things as I went into a island and 1 if the things made red rubies and other things you need for the home island which is good oh and also 1 that made the rubies, I do wish it was easier to upgrade the things on my home island like having to make maybe 15 hammers then 10 knifes it’s hard as when you start to do it then you have to give them to the boat for it to leave , but being honest I’m not sure how you could change this , A big Anyway I Live playing and I do play everyday , actually I don’t think I have friends in this game does that help ?? I been playing this game for about 3 months now as my son also plays it. The game is great however there are several disappointing elements the time it takes to complete the island and the energy required to do so is ridiculous for what you get in return. We made a club but there doesn’t seem to be any point to this as we don’t he any team goals to complete or quest which we could gain rewards for all in all. This could be a great game but it’s just lacking something.
Also the rubies and energy bundles are far to expensive for what you get.

The game is quite good: the downside is the game is impossible to finish. I have been playing for months and never once have I got near to the end. complete. The the amount of energy it costs to collect the items needed is a joke, today on the Mount Gambit, is the closest I have ever got to the end, but come on, are you joking! 1,664 energy to make 1 pair of binoculars and you need x11 and that not including the other 22 items you need to complete one of the quests. Come on guys, who do you think has this kind of money to spend on energy, you put such frustration to the game and I would like to meet anyone, who has ever got to the end of ant of your quests without spending hundreds of pounds to get there. Please stop charging so much energy or reduce the items needed to make the game more enjoyable for people, then someone might make it to the end of one of your quests.

Wanted to edit my previous feedback after finding a way to unlock the stairs, but another issue I have came accross is when the wants pop up, a few times dad will ask to find 3 sea shells and I already have 16 in my stock but unable to give him them, same for needles they want me to make some but I already have some? This needs to be fixed in a update, also not happy I bought a pack of keys and only got 1 saw from big chests,I am almost level 21 and not opened shaman chest yet, there should be a grinding option but no way past this other than selling all ur materials to boat man just to get 1 key, u need 3 to open a chest giving 1 saw, I’m just losing the enjoyment now lvl 20 cos I see where it’s going money to go further… should have known better. May aswell play sims cast away one off cost

This game was great to start with but once you start getting into the game it becomes very slow and frustrating. To clear trees and rocks etc for resourcestakes stupid amounts of energy then you are waiting hours to be refilled.
The bonus islands every couple of days are ok however they have been made so us free players can’t complete an event island as there aren’t enough energy nor time to complete, also again you are having to use ridiculous amounts of energy to remove things. To add to frustrating gameplay, you clear your home island to make it look good then random huge trees just respawn which again uses large amounts of energy to remove plus a gold shovel for the stump. If nothing improves on future updates them this game will be deleted.

This is a good game the only downfall is the amount of energy you need to complete the tasks to get further through the levels, which makes it super hard to go on especially in the mini games that last a few days. You need several items to complete one small task but this uses lots of energy (for example my energy bar is 96 but one item is 87 energy) so unless you pay ££ for more energy you’ll be waiting hours for your energy bar to refill so you can move on. Think I’m just going to delete the game as it’s getting annoying. Maybe bigger energy rewards would make it worth while.

I’ve been playing this game for over 2 years, it used to be a fab game and really enjoyable.
There has been no new permanent islands for months now, the special events islands are often repeated and are made more difficult each time they are re-introduced. The only way to finish these event islands is to spend (a lot of) money. I am level 65 so have the high energy foods unlocked but even using these I find it impossible to complete event islands unless I spend real money.
I have spent lots of money on this game so far, but it seems to be getting more greedy with each event. I understand developers need to make money but it is just getting too expensive especially when some of the events just keep getting repeated.
Good idea, needs some changes.

The idea of this game is great. It plays well, doesn’t crash and there are some interesting ideas.
However, the constantly changing island every few days is way too much. You are fighting to finish and that to me takes away the pleasure in the game. Every island is the same work, requires so much energy you have to pay out to complete and quite honestly the whole thing is way too repetitive and feels like forcing you to pile money into the game. I’m all for paying for things but this game seems to want too much to proceed. I know they say you can make energy but you would never be able to make enough to complete an island adventure.
I think this game forgets that most people cannot sit on a game all day. It’s a shame because the idea is good.

This used to be my favourite game. You could easily play without having to spend real money on extra energy and gems. The extra island events used to be really fun, I easily could finish them within the time limit. But now everything requires a ridiculous amount of energy. One thing sometimes cost around 135 energy to chop and my max energy is only 90! And the amount of things you have to collect in the events is crazy. It’s definitely all about making money now for the game developers. I contacted them to complain and was told to save up my energy and they can’t change the amount of energy needed to complete tasks…. Yes you can, you are the developer!!
I have spent real money in the past, but no more. It used to help complete tasks and events but not anymore. I’m off to play other games.

This game has been a firm favourite of mine for 2 years now.
I’ve played religiously!
I’m gutted I’ve had to delete the game. It’s way to expensive to play, I get zero enjoyment from it since the developers decided to become greedy ganits.
Max energy is 137 and most obstacles you have to clear are 30-50+ energy so basically you can make two moves every hour which in turn means you CAN NOT complete an island or a task without spending real money. Salt is hard to come but so you can’t even cook for energy now never mind being able to get clay to make bowls to cook with. Things that don’t require bowls require ingredients that take ages to generate.
Keys and gold tools are literally like gold dust.
You used to get plenty of energy and gems as you played along…. Not anymore.
They’ve now put obstacles in front of energy boxes that require gold tools which you don’t have as you can’t win them, find them or give enough to the merchant to get a gold key.
They have an island with a key maker that you have to have gold dust for….. again these are in chests locked behind obstacles that need gold tools….. kinda defeats the point really.
So unless you are rolling in it and have £100+ to drop on this game, I would t download it.

Through fb groups we have found out it’s not fair. Some players get things like 200 gold bars and some get 2000, the merchants/shaman orders and payment/rewards e.g chicken feed, energy a key. Some people get up to 200 energy some 60ish. The mini island games every few days are taking soooo much energy, gold tools now. My last order with the merchant cost me far more in resources, stools, sackcloth beams and what not to anything in return like energy from 120 to 60. For what it takes to make them it costs you so much more than what you get.
Things you have made get taken. I made 3 tambourines which probably takes you 8/10 hours from start to finish. Woke up in the morning to find one had vanished. Had a few things vanish. Lots of other players have noticed this to.
The developers are now just seeing £$€ signs and want you to pay over the odds to get anywhere now.
Report anything to them about missing things they say your lying 🤥 lots of other players will say the same.

This game is obviously built to get players to spend money. You need energy to do absolutely everything and you only get a tiny bit for free. As you move through the levels, you need more and more energy to achieve even the most basic tasks, which is impossible to get. The issue is that you need energy to make energy, which is completely counterproductive. For example, to make food (which gives you small amounts of energy) you need certain items which cost energy to get, so you can’t make deciding progress. The free energy that accumulates has a low maximum level that only allows for approx 1-2 mins of play time. Even if you buy energy with really money, the game is designed to stop you progressing as you can’t build on that amount by making food, it won’t let you if you are over the maximum level.
There are never-ending missions to go on - all of which need tons of energy. When you first go to the mission islands, they reel you in with free energy, but as you progress through the mission the energy runs out really fast. Then, when you get deeper into the mission, the free energy gifts are significantly reduced, so you can’t complete all the tasks unless you buy energy.
I’ve stuck with this game for so long and tried to find ways to enjoy it as the game could be fun if the creators wanted it to be, but it’s set up to make you fail or spend money, which isn’t fun, so I’m now deleting it.

This game is one of my favourites but it takes too long to get through an island which is changed every few days so your against the clock to complete many tasks and win something to take home that gives energy. I’ve managed to win a few but feel that they only give energy once every so many hours plus it stops giving you energy after 30 times have been completed. I think those items won should give you energy indefinitely as you took the time and effort to win them and it would help with completing future islands. There is also the issue of the boosts being too expensive which put me off purchasing them. I’ve purchased a few but they run out too quickly because it’s gives 500 energy and 20 rubies. That’s makes it disappointing when trying to complete tasks to gain access to parts of island needed to complete essential tasks. Please think about giving more energy for us to complete islands. The shamans orders are far to hard when you need to make 3 stools and 3 bricks which are harder to make needing many other tools in order to make them, this takes hours and numerous times returning to the game. You could lose many players due to this because it always leaves one feeling dissatisfied and disappointed.

I’ve been playing this a little while now and I do enjoy it but there is now such a disparity between the energy you have and how much energy things cost to harvest. For example in the current quest of magpie island to harvest just 1 wild pumpkin is 75 energy. That’s outrageous! In the previous halloween quest it was just 25 energy to harvest. The quests are particularly bad and even with all the extra energy gift boxes scattered around you just can’t get anywhere without spending real money. I understand this is how you make your money for a free app but it’s impossible to enjoy without spending. Please reduce the amount of energy you need to harvest items within quests, I’m likely to delete the game if this doesn’t improve.

This could be such a good game!
There are a few things that need addressing, energy vs quests is one of them. Unless you spend actual money, there is no way of finishing the tasks. The amount of items to get before you can finish a task in some of the quests is ridiculous, and most of the time end up not even competing half of the quest, waiting for the energy to be refilled again. Ads used to be available and it was a good way of getting diamonds and energy, but hasn’t worked for months.
I enjoyed playing the game in lockdown, now I just find it frustrating.
This has been said before, and no improvement has been made, I guess developers are more interested in reaching our pockets! Hey, money moves the world after all!

I absolutely love this game. Only had it for a few days but can’t stop playing it. However there is one issue, STORAGE. In order to complete quests you need to craft stuff, but then you can’t use it as there isn’t enough storage. If you use your rubies you to upgrade, it only upgrades a minimal amount and that is quickly used up. You soon find you have run out yet again and before you know it you have run out of rubies and the only way to get more is buy them. I will not buy things in games. I would be more than happy to watch adverts to either get rubies or increase storage. This really needs to be looked at otherwise once I’m all out of rubies I’ll end up deleting the game, and I really don’t want to do that.
Great if you’ve got lots of money to spend!

I’m really enjoying this game, but - and I never usually write reviews - it’s super irritating, as you literally can’t complete a challenge without forking out… energy restores to about 72ish daily, which is less than chopping down 1 big tree! There are gifts, but they never amount to much when it comes to clearing a path or gathering resources…..
Each island challenge is a 2/3 day event, which means you’re never likely to complete without paying A LOT for extra energy or crystals…
I have paid for the odd bundle, but I refuse to pay to play each evening… that’s more than a bloody PlayStation game!
Please can it be just a little more economical and less greedy!

I would give this game more stars but the rudeness of the support staff members are outrageous if the game has a glitch or a bug in an event island it’s automatically your fault not there’s or the game but yours for example on explorers island I’m supposed to collect 15 presents I have collected 14 now but the glitch is making it only count 10 I have been told that I have to collect only the orange with green bow presents but I only can count 12 in the game so how am I supposed to get 15 to complete a task if there are only 12??? Also the same with the thorns I’m supposed to chop the green thorns to collect the task but it allowed the purple one to complete the task the staff member is refusing to help me so it’s now caused me to fail this island in completing it really not happy they don’t like cheating but allows there games to cheat! Other than that the main game has plenty to do

When downloaded I spent hours and hours on this game and reached around level 9 and for some reason no matter how I try get energy through food even chests it is not enough to continue playing for hours like I did because of this I feel like I will loose interest in the game as it takes forever for the energy to generate and if I need to chop a tree or something it takes aloootttt of energy and I can’t seem to generate enough please fix this or this will make you loose the game users as I’ve seen other reviews saying same thing about the energy. Also I downloaded this on my iPhone first then my iPad which I mainly play it on but when I tried to get on my phone again I get a message saying oops something went wrong try again and no matter how many times I try it doesn’t work also I can’t delete app and download again as it says it will loose data and I am using the same login with my iPad and don’t want to risk loose all them hours I put into the game! Please fix the energy and a way for me to use on phone and I will forever be on this game! It’s worth getting if you can spend time doing nothing but play this game it is very addictive!!!

This was my favourite game. Totally hooked until it sadly stopped working. The new releases of mini games and challenges keep you interested for sure. Of course you have to choose whether to participate as they can distract you and use up your resources but with a bit patience and a steely resolve you can make good progress in this game without spending a single penny. Although sometimes it’s nice to treat yourself to a little splurge!
It’s easy enough to just dip in, set a bunch of tasks going, spend all your energy and then do something else for a while. Then you just pop back and repeat. Ahh I do miss it. All I get now from my little buddies is ‘oops something went wrong’. So sad and despite clearing down all non essential items to make more space too. Yet I can’t bring myself to delete it because it was, and is, my favourite game. Well done to those clever developers!

Wow. This game is useless. There was no adventure in this awful game. How could people possibly think that this is a good game? All that happens in it is LAGGING AND BEING THE WORST THING EVER. I saw it on an advert AND OH MY GOSH IT WAS SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. Yeah, rescuing people and improving your raft is fun, BUT THESE PEOPLE ARE ALREADY RESCUED! I seem to think that this awful game thinks we are not good enough to rescue the people on the ad WHICH TOTALLY OFFENDED ME! Some ads do not lie. THIS ONE DOES! Thank you to the games with ads THAT DO NOT LIE! If somebody is wanting to download a GOOD game that you need to rescue people, do NOT choose this one. I am writing this review in MY PJs and this game HAS NOT MADE MY MORNING AT ALL. IT TOTALLY OFFENDED MY MORNING! Love the concept of the game, it find it so hard to get everything you need to move on. I have played for a few months and found I have had to buy rubies to complete each event. Not enough time is given for the events to consider all levels of players.
Also lack of storage is an issue, if you could store a substantial amount of items it would make things easier to prepare for events, but it’s hard to get the items you need as you can’t store enough.
It takes so long to do things and gather items needed, if you could have more than one machine that would be helpful, but often you need to use the machine to make several items needed and it’s just so hard.
I have spent a fortune on the game and feel I have not progressed much after several months of playing, I am deleting the game unfortunately, which is a shame as I loved it, but I like to feel I am progressing which I’m not

Such a great game, I have easily spent most of my COVID lockdown playing this game. The regular updates and new islands available means there is always something to occupy your time with. There is the option to buy extra resources, energy or gems, however I am yet to purchase anything. Opening chests will supply you with just enough gems for anything you may need. Energy is the most important resource, making food is the best way to get energy. Sometimes I feel the resources needed to upgrade your buildings is a bit much, especially with the merchant and shamans orders, which you need to complete to get energy, golden keys for chests and resources that you can’t get anywhere else. The Tribe/clan feature is okay, you can talk with others but as the tribe leader it would be nice if there was something so you could know who in your tribe is still active or how long it’s been since they was last online. Overall I’m very happy with the game and will continue to play.

From the very start of the game the father and son craft tools, hunt, mine stone and chop trees, and figure out all innovations, while the daughter and mother keep the hearth warm, clean, gather, cook and serve food, and at best use a loom, while the mother constantly expresses how safe she feels about their future when she looks at all the supplies the father provided. At one point the daughter asks if the family shouldn’t have left her behind on the old island in exchange for 100,000 rubies (the in-game meta currency). In 2021 I find it unacceptable that in a family game you’d reinforce the notion that men should bring home the bacon and advance the civilisation while women should learn self doubt, that seeing themselves as currency is appropriate, and that simple service labour is the best they can amount to.
Parents - please do not get this game for your kids until this is fixed.
Developers - please fix the sexist dialogue and division of labour, so we can enjoy the beautiful art work and fun mechanics of the game.

I love the graphics and whole concept of the game, everything is there waiting to be played... except for how long it takes to do anything because of how sloooooowwww the energy is acquired. Either you wait for far too long, or find the very very few & far between berries etc for energy. Or you could cook! Except you can’t, because you need salt which again you’re more likely to win the lottery than find what you need to get enough energy to do anything, like knock a big tree down without it taking 2 days worth of gameplay. Please please please be more generous with the energy, it just makes sense to fix this as I am probably going to give up playing now, along with lots of others as seen in reviews.

Hi, ok first I would just like to say-Wow what an amazing game. So I just started like 2 hours ago and was all excited 😛 then after playing for i don’t know maybe twenty minutes I got bored bc you have to wait ages for your roots to grow and if you have no other things to do than it gets so boring. Next, after I have watched an advert to get energy to break stones and wood 🪵 it freezes and I have to close the game then go back into it. Last, this is the main reason I gave it 4 out of 5, it is nothing like the adverts 😡. That is the main problem I think. Coz the adverts look great 😊. My congrats there. Oh and can u just add. It is so annoying when you run out of energy coz you can’t do anything I exited about an hour.

Read the reviews but thought I’d give it a try. Agree with ALL the reviews that say it takes way to long for energy to refill. You get one bit of energy every 4 - 5 minutes... but if something takes 45 energy to chop down it makes for very slow and boring progress.
I read all the makers standard reply’s and yes you can get extra energy from a few bits on the island, but the further you get into it, the fewer and farther between these become and it’s never enough. After getting salt from a few star fish, these disappeared and never got any from where it said you could find salt, so couldn’t cook anything.
The storage situation was annoying as well. Storage maxed out so couldn’t pick up any production bits, which meant I couldn’t put anything else in production queue, which would have freed up storage! Found myself trapped in a frustrating circle!!
All in all the game got deleted because it just took to long to do anything and I got bored of playing after 24 hours. Maybe, rather than just posting your usual standard reply about finding energy around the island, you should actually take on board peoples suggestions and frustrations and make energy refresh more quickly.....

This game will keep you amused for maybe 7-10 days when it’s all new and you can build up momentum. After then, everything slows down and you can’t possibly keep up with the tasks being set, events to participate in and upgrades necessary to accommodate all of these things you’re meant to do. You also can NEVER have the appropriate energy as it runs out so fast (like.. do 2 things and it’s gone).
So the developers have amazing ideas and lovely graphics but no concept, it seems, or how to keep a gamer engaged fully. If they set tasks and events, great, but the energy and storage doesn’t reflect that so you can’t actually participate (without, I can only assume, spending a LOAD of money)
So whilst I would be happy to support and probably spend a bit on this game, they’ve overshot it hugely. So, as a result, it’s boring and I lost interest very quickly.

I love this game, I actually spent £120 on gems which my mum wasn’t happy about but I couldn’t help it, will be making this a one off with the payments, u don’t have to buy things though, that’s a choice. It takes a lot of memory up on ur phone so make sure ur iPhone has plenty of available storage, unlike me who can’t play it just now without having to update it and I have no storage free to update the game 😡😢. I’ll sort my iPhone 7 out I just need to delete videos and pictures as my phone is packed with tons of games and pictures and videos 🤣. But best game ever and can’t wait to play it once my storage is restored x

I just wish I could play it for longer. It takes me about 2 minutes to use my energy on clearing around 3 items... then I close the app again & have to wait for more energy to build up before I can do anything. It’s annoying. Feels like it’s going to take forever to actually get anywhere in the game & I refuse to spend money buying the items required, which is what they ultimately want me to do. I know the developers are responding to people saying they need to accumulate their energy... but where’s the fun in that? I’m meant to log on several times a day, collect the energy & do nothing else whilst I wait? Then use it all in one hit trying to get rid of a large item? It’s just irritating. Also in order to get energy from the merchant or shaman I need to complete their orders.. which I need energy for to get the items in the first place. So it doesn’t help 🙃
If energy wasn’t such a pain I’d love this game. I see so many other people say thing the same thing.

Basic premise is to clear the land of trees, shrubs and rocks/clay. You then use those gathered resources and improve your buildings and enhance your technology. Was really good fun at the start and some of the trees and rocks take a lot of energy to remove, more than you can achieve at early levels. I have managed to get to level 15 and this is where it is becoming less fun as the game now puts trees and rocks back on land you have already cleared. What’s the point of spending to clear only for you to stick a tree in the middle of my settlement requiring a lot of energy to remove when there is still so much to do anyway. If this continues the enjoyment will diminish and it just won’t get played. Don’t keep trying to mess up areas that I have worked so hard to clear.

The sole reason I scored thus game so highly, other than it being fun to play, is that you don’t HAVE to spend money to play it fully. There are so many games that require you to spend cash in order to get anywhere but this game gives you quality game play regardless of whether you spend or not. Sometimes I think the amount of materials needed to craft are too much and then boat comes too often so when you’ve finally made enough of something to upgrade a building then the merchants boat need it, which can be frustrating but like I said, no cash spent so there’s not much to grumble about really. More games like this please!

I started up this game and loved it, I spent real money on it because it was so addictive and fun but there are golden tools you need to remove tree stumps and other things which you cannot buy and are hard to collect and you clear an area but then a tree will grow and you end up with stumps everywhere that you can’t get rid of which is so disappointing considering the rest of the game is really fun! I just don’t want to spend more money on a game and end up re-doing everything to clear an area, especially when you can’t buy the tools to clear it and some things take LOTS of energy to clear in the first place when you only get a certain limit (which is also based on your level and house upgrades). Sorry just falls flat even when you spend money on it.

Love the game but I couldn’t give it 5 stars for 2 reasons... firstly because there are a few glitches and it kicks me off a lot so I spend more time loading than playing the game. Secondly there is just too many things to do with the same machines. So I need axes, but I need spears to make the wood, and there are about 10 open projects for me to do... which is also annoying. Happy to have things to do, but with the island and the main game and then annoyingly there is never enough storage and you cant seem to get more unless you want to spend money on diamonds making the things. So you end up with piles of logs/ sticks everywhere or you end up selling them for level points... which I also think is rubbish. Why not give us things we could use? Even energy!! But this is just my opinion! I love the game... just a few tweaks would make it fabulous! Much better than the bleeding escapes games!

I played this game and it was fun for the 1st day. So much to do. But then after a day it became slow progress unless you spend loads of money to buy rubies. It takes too long to wait for energy and to clear an item it then costs too much energy. So youre only clearly a few items each day. I want a game that can keep me occupied and entertained. Not something that is so slow that its like watching paint dry.
Updating my review following their response... My feedback still stands unchanged. Even with all their suggestions on how to find more energy through exploring, the game is still far too slow. They need to lessen the the amount of energy it costs to clear obstacles and then it would be worth my time to play. Maybe even reduce the cost of buying rubies, then I might be more inclined to spend real money.

The game is brilliant and it is so fun I can play the whole day its so good and even though on the advert it showed that Bruce was running and you had to figure it out that doesn’t happen but it is still amazing and the nature music is wonderful and Izzy and Tim are hilarious when they have conversations and Izzy and the mum are so cute when they do there puppy eyes they are so adorable like when the mum broke her nail doing something she I also like that you don’t just build and stuff you Also answer questions like about Mother Nature And it’s just so fun. I love the game so much and looking around the beautiful nature in the game it’s just wonderful.
It is terrible game, whoever designed it is cluttered

I was so disappointed with this game. It has so many things happening extremely resources. They just want us to spend money on rubies. It is most cluttered game and when you achieve a task then it gives you absolutely. It is a cluttered game with no end to the tasks. the developers just want make money and they not interested in the gamers at all. there is no beginning or ending to the tasks. just more and more tasks and no resources.
Gamers were still going into shops to buy these upgrade packs, but a cheaper expansion to a favourite game would take revenue from a competitor’s brand new, full price game. This did not stop new games being developed; indeed, it encouraged ongoing franchise development with refreshed full price evolving versions of games starting to appear. I do not want give it even ONE STAR. It is absolutely crap game.
