BarnStorm, thank you so very much for this stellar rendition of BlockBusters!!! I’ve literally just tonight passed the £1 Million mark on the online ranked games!!!! My aim now is to carry on & reach £2 Million & in turn finally beat the all time top ranking!!!! I’m so thrilled, because this quiz show has been an all time favourite of mine since the early 1980’s in my early childhood!!! You guys have brought this new version with Dara O Brien slap bang into the 21st Century digital age, with absolute aplomb!!!! This gem has kept me away from my PlayStation 5, that’s how good this game actually is!!!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I mean, how on earth can you win against that?
The questions never get revealed fully so to win you often have to buzz in and just guess making the game utterly stupid.

This little retro-gem teleported me back to 1984, autumn time, I can smell dinner cooking ,(it sausage, mash and onion gravy), I haven’t been in from school long and I’m still sat in my school clothes, I’m later than usual cos I went round to Jefferson Arthur’s house to have a quick blast on his new computer.... A Sinclair ZX81!

Absolutely love this game. Totally worth £1.99 and the £1.99 extra to open up more questions. However if you don’t want to pay extra there’s still loads of questions in the purchased app without the extra modules. I had to purchase extra as I’m 100% addicted 😁😳

Also you just get three rounds, so no real agenda!
There are now ways of selecting, on or off requirements, it’s a bit dated as far as quiz apps go! Not impressed for the money! 😕

This is a great app, well worth the £1.99!!! Fun to play and I really enjoy it after seeing the show on TV, i would certainly recommend it. I like how you can play other people of all abilities. I would just say one thing (that is hardly a criticism!), I would like to be able to challange specific people (aka. friends/family), I would definitely like to be able to do this. All in all great app, well done to the creators.

No real challenge - opponents are too slow and get easy questions wrong - 17 gold runs with £70k in the bank never looked like ever being defeated. Needs to have “live” matches to make it more interesting.

The game as it says in the title is to quick. When playing against a CPU player they answer within seconds of the question being asked. It is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to answer before the CPU opponents. I find myself pressing buzz in and answering the questions and it’s by chance I select the right answer. Lucky to get 2 star rate from me. The game is simply awful. Not worth buying. Pointless, Impossible and Perfection are MUCH better choice of games.

Due to the structure, you only get a fair game if you don’t buzz in unless you know the answer - otherwise buzzing in a little bit early usually lets you win because you get a big advantage over the computer.
Put another way, I am yet to lose a game on this it’s way too easy!
Gold run is a bit slow for answers with more than two words, which forces you to choose two word answers as much as possible. Maybe reducing the number of options at each stage or having them proportional to the significance of that word in the phrase would help.

Don’t like the gold run options as clicking 2, 3 or 4 times to try and get the answer is a time waster. You should put multiple choice answers below the question on one screen like the normal rounds and not go through different screens.
Only given it 3 stars or would be worth 5.
Can we have more classic games added like strike it lucky, deal or no deal, play your cards right, bullseye etc....I even like The Wall with Danny Dyer, that would be a good one to play.

I think this is a great game few flaws but it is new I wouldn’t mind seeing the old board I did prefer that one and also sometimes wish there was an easy medium and hard levels cause I have done 17 gold runs in a row. Other than that I think it’s great and would recommend it to any quiz loving person

This game is the best and so is The Chase but it would be great if Bob Holness’s voice get added so the way that we can hear his voice and we can remember him for being the host of Blockbusters from 1983 - 1995 so it’s a shame that he died in 2012 so thats what I would like to hear his voice so we can all remember him
