Ok so first things first, this game is very much like the other “Scapes” games, in that the main way of getting stars and progressing is by doing puzzles with certain boosters and obstacles. However, I am currently on level 80, and after downloading and deleting this game multiple times out of frustration, I’m going to just never touch it again. The reason for this is because, even with 3 hours worth of all the boosters, and unlimited hearts, I can’t get anywhere near completing the levels the game wants me to do, due to the sheer difficulty of them. Don’t get me wrong, the graphics, style and overall feel of the game is very nice and polished, but the puzzles are so insanely difficult, it’s just not worth the time or effort put into the game. “Farmscapes” seems very much like a cash grab, pay to win type of game, then “Homescapes” or “Gardenscapes”.
Just not worth time or effort.
Devs, at least try to make an enjoyable game.

I enjoy playing Gardenscapes so thought I’d give this a go. What a total snooze fest!! You can get stuck on a level for days and it’s not that interesting playing it to try and get past it. It’s very irritating that the so called boosters seem to give no advantage when you invoke them before you start a game. Also, when you combine boosters you create within a game it seems the more you have the less effect they have?!?
Finally, the bizarre sheep and cat outfits?! What on earth is that about?!? I’ve deleted it.

However, I now seem to be stuck in the tournament of champions game and any game I win is not giving me a point so I cannot progress any further. Please do an update so that I can get out of this endless Groundhog Day situation.
I have contacted support and also been directly to the developer website and complained about the issues. It appears that this issue has been ignored for months by the developer. I cannot understood why Apple has allowed them to continue using the app facility as they are not interested in sorting out any issues with this game.
It is such a shame, but I would certainly point out to anyone actively interested in downloading this to go elsewhere.

It says it is for 4+ years old and he loves farms so thought it would be a good game for him, but now he refuses to play he says it is too hard all he wants is to build the farm and see the animals. So I tried playing it and I have to agree some of the easy levels are so easy it is like the game plays it for you and others are far too hard. I understand why he thinks it is BORING

whilst I really like the ‘scapes games, this one is clearly a cash generator. I do ok on the other ones but the levels on this I found almost impossible, granted i’m not that good at them but I liked the story line and had hoped to get further before I started failing but unless I spent on more boosters it just wasn’t going to happen so I deleted the game.

The icon appears on my home screen but Farmscapes does not appear in Settings in my list of downloaded apps. Not necessarily with the game, but I found that the 5 extra moves box comes up very quickly, and no end of times I’ve hit it by mistake, and it has taken loads of coins when I didn’t want to use them, or the extra moves. So much so I’ve decided to delete the game, and stick with the garden and homescapes games.
We should be allowed to restart these games from the beginning.

However, like the other Scapes games, I was expecting mini games! I don’t know if they appear in later levels, but I would really like a few more at the beginning of the game! Other than this I 100% recommend this game and hope you enjoy it as much as me!

Pros
I love the system where you get horseshoes, which you can use to get multiple different story progressions, which is a classic for Scapes games. The art style i very much like, especially that I can mess around with the multiple choices of story progression (let’s say, modern, geeky or rustic furniture. Exploring all the designs is great!).
Cons
Mainly the other part of the game - levels. Oh dear, later levels.
The first, 30 ish are great. Easy progression, a nice start. But when hard & very hard levels get introduced. I especially had problems with the levels after them - sometimes, it takes me days worth of lives to beat a level, but just 3 levels before I beat it without losing once. (Luck, maybe?) Please clarify on extra details - seeing optimum boosters spent (like, 1 of each for this level, maybe just the rocket thingy for this etc) so I don’t waste my boosters. I think it’s a great addition, I’d be very happy if it was put into the game.

It’s a great game, but for quick progression you gotta pay, especially because of increasing extra moves costs, and the expensive-from-the-start in level boosters. However, if you’re willing to spend days from time to time and are very determined, you can play slowly while still completing levels without paying.

The game updated a day ago and it now stopped working. When it starts, it’s loading and then just when it’s supposed to reach to that “play”/ “account” part, whole screen goes black with some few white pixels and it remains like that. If i then swtich with other apps and then go back, it does the same.
What’s wrong with it? My daughter loved this.

Been playing this for a while, enjoyable up to now. Some levels are harder than others but that’s ok. Got to level 114 and it gradually gets slower and slower until it freezes, I’ve restarted my iPad , looked to see if I needed an update but none available.

The female character is very stereotypical, makes women out to be reliant on a man to do everything. Is that what you want to teach your kids... Game is too slow to achieve goals, some of the goals are tres boring. Gave up after level 53, difficult to complete level 54 without money etc.. bored bored bored.

Good concept to the game but there are a lot of points where the game wither shuts down or in my current case at level 65 there is a whole column missing of colour blocks so the level cannot be completed. Was really enjoying it up until then

I was enjoying this game so much, I was looking for one like this for ages. But the levels are too hard. It took me 2 days to try and get past level 30 and I still haven’t. I ended up deleting the game because it was so frustrating..
