This Game is an excellent Upgrade from the old, it has so many new features and ways to earn without paying! The Game Of Life 1 was my favourite game and is still one of them to this day, I truly appreciate all the exclusive paths and choices that were added in. I love these games so much, I would love to know about any more updates! Also please make the game a bit!

Some Suggestions:

Marriage:

I would love a honeymoon or a customisable partner option in the marriage category, what I mean by this is an option to chance the appearance of your partner and their name! Also a divorce option could be quite interesting.

Children:

I think a good suggestion for an update in the children category is a change of name and appearance. As the game continues, they could turn into a child, then teenager. For the name option, it could be a pop-up after birth, so you could type in the name of the child. There could also be a chance of twins or triplets!

Longer Game:

For a longer gameplay, maybe you could add an option to go down a path of lots of children or a mystery trail. Like the old game!

Many of the jobs are too trendy - mainly media and pets … what about more doctors, teachers, cleaners, social workers, carers etc ie the people we are desperate for today? The family set-up tries to be inclusive with trendy LGBT and pets, but so many of us have elderly household members that they should be options to include in the car. I’ve been playing this for a while now… a real downtime after work kinda game.

However, it has some super irritating issues. You’re playing a great game and suddenly your component takes forever to play their move… you lose it so you end it after far too long.

It’s a bad feature that a player can keep tapping to keep staying active regardless of whether they’re making a move… it can literally go on forever…

It’s also frustrating when trying to start a game and it can take an absolute age for one player to click ‘start’ so you end up having to cancel to an entirely different ‘world’ each time to stop getting caught up with the same inactive player not pressing ‘go’.

To say it glitches it an understatement! I can start on 2nd turn and end up on 4th!… missed at least a couple of turns in some games…

This is 2-3 years worth of observations and nothing’s been improved so I’m using it less and less as a result.

I love the original Game of Life and really love what the developers have tried to do here. I like the new attributes, customisation and graphics but I really do think this game is way too short! It was over in a flash and I genuinely thought there was going to be another stage after retirement as it was over so quickly. I have played it several times both against the PC and as pass the device and each game has been over in less than half the time of the original. I also miss the mini games (although love the fate wheel!). Maybe the mini games could be part of Action Cards now. I also feel like you given the speed of the game it is really hard to build up your attributes where in the original game there were so many ways to get cash and really build that bank balance up. I also miss the vehicles automatically changing with each life stage and I was frustrated that my spouse remained in their wedding attire the whole time!

I think with all the new elements to this game there needs to be a little bit more of the original bought in, a little bit more actual game play (length, additional elements etc).

A lot of highly unlikely things happen frequently making it frustrating to play - for instance, I had one game where everybody kept landing on the same lucky number, at one point it happened 6 times in a row. As a result, this bot won the game because of the ridiculous amount of money accumulated from this alone. The chances of this actually happening are so so slim and it’s ridiculous that the technology allows it to happen. Another game, about 80% of my spins were one, two or three - again this just wouldn’t happen if playing a physical version of the game. It’s really annoying because from less than half way through the game, it’s pretty clear who the app has decided is gonna win - the same player will win money and attributes time and time again whilst another will constantly lose. It takes most of the fun out of it when you can call first and last place before you’re anywhere near the end. I understand that it’s not possible to completely recreate the board game experience on a phone but you could do much better than this.

However, our iPad it’s not letting us do multiplayer with friends. The version on my phone lets me do multiplayer though. Also, says it supports family sharing but shows up that it will charge my wife. Even though she is on my family sharing and has many other apps / services that are shared between us.

I really enjoy playing and will definitely get some of the extra content in the future but there are some things that I’ve noticed that have put me off a bit.

1. One of the game hints when you play your first game is in the wrong language, I think it’s in Spanish rather than English. Not a big deal but shows a lack of quality control and overall effort.

2. When playing the game at 5x speed, the game will hang. If you try to quit to menu the game will continue with no problem before hanging again a few seconds later. The only way to fixit is restarting the app.

I am enjoying the game and will update my review when these things have been fixed.

Very limited choices and lack of creativity in the ups and downs of life make this a really repetitive game. Maybe ok for free content, but not when it’s pay to play. Also many factors of chance don’t seem well balanced. Taxes are meant to be a 30% chance of fate spaces, but I’ve rolled taxes on all but one occasion over nearly 20 games. Pets are as rare as children, which is weird, and I would have expected more variety in final family composition amongst all players by game end - it’s almost all the same. Games also feel too short. Bought this to play with the family over Christmas but despite it being listed as supporting family share, it doesn’t. So to play a game with 4 of us would cost £12! Great game but very disappointed 😞

Even tho I get annoyed because I have not come 1st yet, this game is full of choices. It shows the stages of life and what u choose to live with and one you retire, you can do what’s on your dreams or live happily and gain money. This is such an enjoyable family game! 😊

I just downloaded Game of Life 2 and I decided to play Game of Life and Game of Life Vacation before this one to see the similarities and differences. I love game of life 2 and think it’s very good how it has the collecting of outfits idea of Vacations which really makes you want to play to complete all the puzzles however has kept the traditional game from the original game of life which I think is great

However the game definitely could be improved by having more spaces so the game lasts longer as it went so fast I was lucky to get a child. AND I think that it’s a shame they didn’t incorporate the mini games that were in the original game - grab the cash, traffic jam, etc as I really enjoy the mini games in with the actual game and think that if this was to be added it would be far better

Overall great game thank you for making this.

I have game of life 2, but I don’t get the complete my bundle option to get vacation and number 1... has that stopped now in the App Store?

The game is good fun although it does have several bugs. The main bug is during friends multiplayer, one person spins the wheel (full decent spin, not poorly) and when it stops it’s not acknowledged and they have to spin again, it’s alright unless they land on your lucky number and don’t have to pay. Slight glitches in the images and gameplay but nothing that spoils it like the spinning glitch.

Would I recommend it? Yes I would.

I love this game and really enjoy it! I’m not going to give it a five stars until the game is muchhh longer. I think that you should give a long and short game option because some people may prefer it short, but for me I would prefer the longer option by far. I would also like more career choices as the same careers are coming up which takes the excitement out of it! I.e doctors, nurses, midwifes, actors, personal trainer. Great game though and I hope to see the improvements soon!

The game overall is very good. I’d argue sometimes the AI was repetitively getting the same outcome (or I’m just not as good as I’d like to be!).

However massive annoyance, on the first game I actually won the game froze at the ending screen after counting total money and although when I came out and went back into the game it said “win 1 game” complete, the satisfaction of winning was lost.

So much fun!

So much fun from the little details like riding along the board in your own transport to the cool themes and bright interactive atmospheres. With endless options ( I suggest splurging on the extra bundles too)

I purchased the fairytale kingdom world as an in game purchase. Once I had played it once I realised that it was more or less the same as the original and thought it wasn’t really worth £5. So I clicked restore purchases to get my money back, but the button didn’t work so I still have the game and have still wasted £5. Let me know if u know how to help.

Quite possibly the most rigged game to buy. If you play against the computer, it is almost impossible to win. You always spin 1s, 2s or 3s while the others spin 7+ and you always land on taxes and have to take out loans. You seldom get the option to win more than 1 attribute yet the computer can win 3 per turn. I have played 8 games and finished last on all but one where i came 3rd. I will now be deleting the game. Don’t waste your money unless you love losing. Oh, it’s also a quite boring game.

Feels like you are just getting into the game then it finishes, not enough time and spaces to move to really compete. Would like it to be longer but other than that fun game!

I like the game but, I wish there was some sort of instructions with it as I get loans in a game and they say luckily may be able to repay them but, doesn’t say how. Which is what I’d like to know. In the actual game, you can pay back the loans as soon as you have the money.

UPDATE: been working brilliantly now, really fun game to play :)

I’ve had this game a couple of hours now and still haven’t been able to finish a game! With it not allowed me to click take when I’ve won the crown so I have to quit, or someone not spinning and you have to quit as nothing happens, glitches where the menu gets stuck on my screen so I can see the spinner leaving me again unable to play.

I find it a REALLY short game in comparison to the first game of life. I feel with the original you get more invested in the “life” you’re playing whereas this seems to be over in less than 5 minutes.

You spin big numbers most the time and barely land on any spaces throughout the game. You’re lucky to even get 1 kid, pet or house between 4 players.

The board could definitely do with being longer or at least have the option to play a longer game!

Really enjoy playing this!

A few things that have led to only 4 stars is it can be a bit slow or glitchy whilst playing online multiplayer, there’s no option to play online multiplayer with friends and it’s not very balanced on how you can win. As long as you have money, you win by far. I think it should be a little more balanced so there’s an element of surprise over who wins :)

Other than that, it’s a really amazing game! I’ve been playing it daily!

Great game - lots of fun if you’re looking for a casual and nostalgic game to play. Only thing is that for every 100k at the end of the game you get 100 points compared to only 20 for every 1 attribute sticker. If you choose the investment route and manage to land on one or maybe two of the house tiles you’ve basically won as in return you can get tonnes of money an annihilate anyone even if the other player has the most stickers in all categories and a decent money reserve.

Basically, in this game, cash is king. I feel like it should be more balanced... maybe in a future update?

Had this game when I was younger and loved it. Got into my early teens and downloaded the lite version and fell in love again! Happy to say this game does not disappoint. Downloaded to play with my boyfriend and we both loved it. He’s downloading it right now so we can play online together! :)
