I am wondering what the purpose of the app is, as there is no facility to purchase from it. Indeed, it actually says that the app does not permit purchases to be made. It doesn’t even include prices.
It is very frustrating as I look up Kindle books or other items I want to buy, and then have to go to the Amazon website to find out how much it costs and to make the purchase.
Please include these in the app, there is no point in having it.

Not sure why this has became a massive thing, but when I click ‘prime’ I assume it will only show me stuff delivered by amazon; but no. Constantly shows me stuff that I can order from morrisons. That would be okay if they didn’t have a minimum order and delivery fee!! Why are you constantly showing me morrisons products when they have a minimum order? All I see now when I search for stuff is morrisons products. I don’t want to order from morrisons and neither does anyone else. Give us an option to this off, to be able to turn off morrisons products, so I can actually order what I want. This app used to be good but it’s going down hill, really fast.

We have had alot of recent deliveries ‘hidden’ around our driveway in ridiculous places recently, but NO NOTE left through letter box too indicate where. This is most frustrating because I’m disabled and find it very difficult to go hunting for them. Because there are 4 people in the house and with all of us ordering products and no notes put through the door it causes me all sorts of difficulties. It seems to be one of two extremes ur drivers either leave a parcel directly in front of the door in full view of the street or hidden too well with no note. Can you not please train your delivery personnel to always carry notes to put through the door to describe where u hav left their parcels PLEASE. I’m tired of finding orders in soaking wet packaging weeks after they should be here. Many thanks.

They steal your money saying it is a gift card and as myself not keen in buying items and clothes rather I buy Apple Card’s or PlayStation cards now Amazon stop me of using my gift card to buy these things that I need for my membership PlayStation and other accounts. The item I bought cost £75 and was presented in a Christmas Gift box. I expected the item to arrive in an Amazon package with the item being within the packaging. Instead I received a battered box with a poxy Amazon label stuck on the gift box. The label was the type that was difficult to remove from the gift box and left a layer of glue!!!!! Amazon is my go to for everything. We have Amazon Prime and delivery of items is unbelievably quick.
Returns are usually fantastic but you do have to watch for some that you will have to pay yourself.
Also don’t assume all sellers are good just because they are on Amazon. Check out their rating. I would be wary of anything less than 99%
Otherwise any problems I’ve encountered have been resolved quickly with Amazon. Damaged items have been accepted back with no fuss and Amazon paid for the return of the damaged item even though on the one occasion I would of had to pay myself and it was a large ticket item that cost over sixty pounds to return. I did have to pay the return costs up front and claim it back thru customer services but it was dealt with quickly.

When I get a notification appear on my phone, if I click on it it never takes me to it. For example, I’ve just had a notification that a seller has replied to me, click on it and all it does is take me to the order, can’t find the sellers response anywhere. I can’t stand chatbots as they can’t answer specific questions which leads to so much frustration. Ordering is easy on the app but as soon as you have a problem it’s nigh on impossible to get proper help - I’m sure they make it as difficult as possible on purpose. I Keep phoning up customer services who say that a account recovery specialist or the fraud prevention team will be in contact within 24 hours but nobody calls!
I have money on my gift card balance that I am unable to access because customer service representatives keep lying to me or don’t know what they are doing. Totally incompetent, keep giving me email addresses that don’t accept incoming mail or lying about escalating my issue to some imaginary higher department!
Don’t expect any help from this company if you get locked out of your account!
If I haven’t heard anything within the next 48 hours then I will take legal action to recover my funds! 😡

Not happy with a delivery left leaning against my front door and not left in my designated safe space. I live on a busy main road - Lots of passers-by and traffic, hence my safe space for delivery. It was marked as handed to resident, which it patently was not and I am unable to find any method for contacting anyone to make them aware (in other words, complain!) All roads lead to an auto bot with specially selected options that are of no use in these circumstances! I understand that delivery drivers have a set number of parcels to deliver in a shift and they don’t have time to hang about but if there is a given alternative for delivery it should be used surely? I’m lucky my parcel was still at my door when I got home. The irony of it all is that my husband was home all day and never heard a knock or a ring at the door, so I can only surmise that the expectations thrust upon the delivery drivers is so onerous that they no longer have time to actually knock on the door and instead just leave the parcel and go. #needsimproving!

With no way to actually contact the developers about this (the link goes to a dead end), I had to leave a review.
The update that removed information on number of reviews and the star rating, changing it to “__% 5-star” is beyond frustrating. I’m more interested in the amount of reviews that a product has, not that it’s 100% 5-star from like, 3 reviews. Showing a percentage of a star system is ridiculous anyway, it makes no sense from a UX perspective. Was this even A/B tested?
You have to tap in to each product before seeing the number of reviews. It’s a bad system and defeats the point of quickly scrolling results.

It's consistently says Delivered, but it's a lie, item is not delivered. Even status tracker some times shows it's somewhere else, but not delivered yet, but status says Delivered. So annoying. And it's never being fixed! Some times status says Delivered, and tracking updates says Delivered, but item have not reached end customer. And then in next day delivery comes.. so bad. So unreliable. If I know I wont get as they promise, I would go to local shop, but they lie that it will be delivered, just to take money from their customer.
Can not purchase goods on my iPad, it says to go and use other devices or browser. How ridiculous is that?! Expensive powerful iPad, almost a computer, apps work same as on iPhone, and I can't execute purchase.
Guess what my next actions.. go different store, and buy there.. why bother supporting such nonsense. Plus benefits will be greater.. better price, instant product received, no hassle to deal with constantly lost or stolen deliveries by drivers.

Account hacked and no support

My account was hacked and the email and phone number associated was changed so I could not access the account.
I called through to amazons support team to try to get them to block the account and they wouldn’t help me at all (despite it only being minutes after) because although I knew the hackers email and I could confirm all the details on the account because I didn’t have the phone number that the hacker added to the account they couldn’t help me or even block my account.
I tried going round and round with them but they were not willing to help at all and now the hacker has my address, phone number, email and card details meaning I have had to change all my passwords everywhere and completely cancel my card because they started to make purchases.
Poor support from such a big company, you would expect them to have some idea of how to help a customer when they have been hacked and to be able to block the account rather than having zero support and allowing the hacker to have access to all of your personal information.

Giving a three stars because there is no option to turn Bluetooth off from this app because my iPhone is connected to my cochlear implant (hearing aid) affecting my ability to what I am listening to other apps, ie music. Please give us deaf people an option to turn the bloody Bluetooth off every time we launch the app to open,and also when scrolling up and down the app, usually over the video ads , it’s disrupted automatically that is connected to cochlear implant / hearing aid’s between other apps
Everything else is good. … it’s just that darn app’s Bluetooth won’t turn off.

I personally think your website has a lot of good points and it’s hard to find in today’s climate, especially since the economics of daily living, are pretty much on the increase
on average every day or so, with that being said; the shopper has very little time and quite frankly no patience.
So just keep doing your best and everyone who shops at your store will appreciate these difficulties that we are all experiencing. 😀

None of your delivery instructions options of where to leave a package fit my property. There is no option for to leave in the storage box at the side of the house. Please, please can you add a free text box that gives the driver clear and prominent instructions what to do if we are not in? I have lost count of the times my packages have been left on the doorstep and in the rain because there is no option to tell them that there is a large Keter storage box 1 metre away! I have contacted customer service about this so many times, but it keeps happening. A simple free text box would make for many more happy customers. Thanks.

The x-ray feature is really cool. It’s very helpful because I have trouble remembering characters names. The video quality is good. That’s not the issue. The most irritating bit is the fact that if I rewind anything even by a little bit, the video quality ends up being very pixelated and then completely freezes, bar the audio, with a little message at the bottom telling me it will resume when I have better connection. This has nothing to do with my internet, seeing as all 3 bars are full, so it seems to be a bug on your end. It happens every time, and it never used to do that.

When in the app on an iPhone, you cannot save, print, etc, downloaded invoices. There is no enablement anywhere on the page or in the app’s tool bar to be able to do this. All you can do is take a screenshot, which is of no use to me because I want to save the invoice to Files as a PDF document. You can only do this on the website but you cannot access the website separately without it defaulting immediately to the app. This is extremely annoying and I have to keep deleting the app every time I want to save one of my order invoices, before re-installing it again! Sort it out one way or another please!

The app has a tendency to randomly reload the search, which is incredibly frustrating. This eliminates any filters applied, and is so stupid when you’re 5 pages in. This needs to be fixed. Half the time you can’t find what you need because the search algorithm is terrible. Stuff that should come up on the first page is five or six pages down, with totally irrelevant rubbish coming up as “recommended” or “sponsored”. Combine the useless search algorithm with the tendency to randomly reload the page, and it’s a recipe for frustration. Both these problems need to be fixed, because the app didn’t do this originally, and I’m buying stuff elsewhere because the app isn’t working properly.

So just a few years back, it was around when I was 6-7 one of the delivery people came to my door with a delivery and my dad said don’t open the door to anyone, and I was not willing to open it for the delivery guy, he saw me inside on my iPad play games and nocked on my window and yelled for me to open the door for a course of 2-3 minutes, I felt threatened and scared, ever since that day I have been mortified to even open the door to a stranger, this has caused me so much fear and trauma. I continue to buy you're products despite that. Because you’re the only brand with good quality, but as soon as I fined a better brand, I hope to never purchase a single thing from you're shop again I hope nobody should be put through this experience at a younger or elderly age and it doesn’t even matter what age, I hope you teach you’re delivery people respect and manners because it sure looks like they need some.

I’m not happy with the PRIME SERVICE because I didn’t get the results I paid for and neither what I was reassured.
I basically got nothing but unreliability and frustration.
My entire work stopped because I didn’t have the two main items that I needed to actually start the job!!!
This is incredibly frustrating because the items have been held in ENFIELD since 6 (something) AM and Enfield is only a 15/20 minute drive to my home.
The driver literally had ALL DAY to deliver my items!!
I find the driver’s service extremely disappointing, unfortunately his/her service also reflects on customer service department as there is literally NOTHING in place to resolve issues like this, even though it’s not physically the fault of people who work in the customer service department.
Penalties for the driver isn’t going to get me my item on time regardless now as it is well past delivery time.
I’ll still have lost out on two days rent because I’m now behind on sorting out the room for the tenant!!!
I needed to start the job today so it could have been finished by Monday evening, ready for them to move Monday evening.
I should have been contacted and told by the driver that they’re not going to deliver, I could have got the products elsewhere in time!!!
I pay prime and choose next day delivery for a reason!!!
What’s the point of prime if it’s completely unreliable anyway???

I use this app frequently and for the last few weeks it’s been having episodes where I search for something, I’m scrolling down the results and suddenly they all disappear. You can see the search bar, which also empties of what you searched for sometimes, but no results. It also sometimes happens where I click on a result and I’m reading it and then it also disappears. That’s annoying because to fix the issue I have to return to the search and often it just returns me to the homepage and I have to start again. Not great when you’re on page three or four of the results already and then have to try and find the one you were looking for again. I’ve tried reinstalling the app and it hasn’t helped. Please fix this issue, it’s so frustrating!

I often search for something quite specific but get a whole host of results that include other items that I then have to wade through to find what I want. Better to show me what I ask for and give me an option for more diverse results.
Also, reviews are sometimes on different products or about the company. I generally find them unreliable.
Finally, some products such as Kleenex Ultra Soft tissues refer to product info that is no longer true - such as tissue count/box (possibly very old stock) - or is not in English and not made in UK and is likely to be not the same quality.

Are used to be an avid book reader. Some 20 years ago I lost my eyesight and not being able to read books was one of the biggest things I’ve missed. The ability to lose yourself in a good book is something that I have always valued. Audible has given me that back. When I come in from work each day I no longer switch the television on, I listen to my current book instead. The quality of the narrators is brilliant and I enjoy every minute of them. Well done Audible, long may you continue.

As an app it’s easy to use and functions well, but doesn’t do exactly what I’d like. I’m a keen Kindle reader yet I can’t buy Kindle books through the app - why not?? Seems odd not to be able to, and a pain to revert to the website whenever I want to buy a book or Kindle Daily Deal. I also have a wishlist full of Kindle books but they’ve now removed the prices from this list (not from normal items, just Kindle books) so to see if a book has gone up/down in price I have to look through every single item’s listing, changing it from paperback (which it defaults to when clicked on) to Kindle version each time, which is tedious. I used to be able to see the prices at a glance on this list like any other wishlist so why change it?? Hardly an app that’s moving with the times and encouraging you to use technology/kindle over old-fashioned books with printing & packing costs delivered by diesel vans.

Great experience, great app and works EXTREMELY well in every aspect but could do with a couple of tweaks.
1. You shouldn’t be able to search for shopping items whilst on the Shopping Basket tab. Too easy to lose where you’re looking if you go back to the Basket.
2. Remove the back arrow in the corner when you’ve completed checkout, it looks like it tries to process the payment again (don’t want the hassle of being charged twice). Should just have the options to review your purchase or continue shopping without the option of going back a page.

Quite often it is impossible to view all items in a list - just doesn't scroll down properly on iPad. Also, when you click on reviews, it NEVER EVER actually takes you to the reviews.
Another problem with lists on iPad is that the invite button doesn't actually work or do anything. Impossible to share lists.
The add to list button is still not obvious on the page and lists should really be one of the menu options at the bottom of the iPad screen as its wide enough. Overall, a disappointing app from a company this size.

I used to find this app pretty convenient, but I use an iPad Pro from 2015 (no need to change) instead of a laptop. The latest update seems to load in portrait format which means flipping the screen twice to get it into landscape. Once that has been tackled and the item required has been located I find that the “Buy” button is off the right hand side of the screen with no means of accessing it. The quickest workaround is to load the three items that are “frequently bought together” into the basket and then delete the two I don’t want.
Its probably easier to drive to the shops (over 10 miles away) than to use this app.
Fortunately there are other retailers who make life easier than this.

Poor iOS iPad support

I’ve used the app for several years and it the display orientation was always aligned with the iPad orientation, the text was easy to read, the functions that I used most were easily available. Not any more!
The app ignores the iPad orientation; the home screen starts in portrait mode but displays content that appears to be intended for landscape mode - so a lot of content is off the screen and isn’t scrollable. When I navigate into product information, the content is formatted properly but the text is much smaller than before. The effect is that the app is unusable by anyone either elderly or with any real visual impairment.
The wish list is no longer available directly from the home screen (I don’t mean the “alexa wish list” which seems to be more about groceries than the kind of online shopping that I do). Instead, I have to find it via the “profile” tab.
For me, this is a huge backwards step. If things don’t improve soon, I may as well delete the app and use a browser. At least I’ll get functionality and readable text.

The iPad app doesn’t really take account of the size or resolution of your iPad. Whereas the iOS app sizes and lays out appropriately for a phone, the iPadOS version behaves more or less like the web version. On an iPad mini text and pictures are so small you have to zoom in on everything.
There’s no way to share an item to a friend, so you have to save it in your wish list then share it from a phone. Clicking on the ratings at the top of a page doesn’t take you to the ratings section, you have to scroll down to the end of the page, unlike the web version.
All in all it is poorly designed app.

Love the app but for some reason if you put an upcoming deal on your watch list is no longer shows a list of what you’re watching and in the notifications, where it says a deal has started, if you click on it it just takes you to the deals home page, not directly to the deal you were watching for so there seems no point in a watch list any longer. No idea why it was changed but please change back as I don’t have the time to scroll through all deals every time I to find one item that I may not want anyway, you are loosing sales by this. It’s great but at the same time problematic out for delivery. from you 8pm other delivery place doing the delivery is 10 to 11 am as there using 24hours. As a late night person it is very hard to be up at that time if I’m up at 6 or 7pm till 7 or 8am. The main issue is the time it’s been delivered and not showing up when it’s due to come. The only way I can see a fix for this is a best time for delivery for you system so that it’s easier for external delivery places have an idea what time is best. This is why I’m giving you a 4star I think there is a way to improve but besides that everything else is great the layout is spot on... tho where’s the new Consuls at? Always out of stock same with Xbox series x and possibly ps5. mini rant over been bugging me a bit.

Prime used to be definitely next day delivery and that was fantastic, I am paying for this service after all. But now, I order something on prime with it said to arrive the next day, (order at decent time of course) , but once processing the payments or after paying for the products, now they say the products will be delivered day after next or even more than that.
When it’s busy seasons like Christmas, that’s understandable. Any other time, not acceptable. Products on prime are more expensive after all. I might as well buy a product not on prime and get same delivery dates and lower product price.

When looking for clothing you can’t look for the fabric it’s made from. It’s impossible to reply to a message that sent to you and you have to do that on a web browser and not using the app as I found it impossible and how to do that. When an item is dispatched you can’t be specific in where you want it left due to multiple choice answers only. You also can’t tell if you are going to get the parcel quickly or not as you don’t know where the seller is based. There are other issues with this app but apart from a few minor ones, it’s a really great site to buy from as it’s a lot cheaper than eBay...

I really like the app, it’s easy to use and to find products. Especially in this troubled period.
I enjoy the fact that you can track your deliveries up to your doorstep.
One suggestion that can make it even better is when the deliveries are done by a third party it would also be nice to mark them as delivered ourselves. As I’ve still got numerous orders still showing as late for deliveries or expected to be delivered when they’ve already arrived.

As far as apps go and how much you can do, YES this does have some limitations like you cannot seem to copy and paste. But apart from that it’s having a smaller seller central in your pocket.
You can easily reply to messages. Check stock and sales. Of course there are some that want the app to even deliver their parcels but let’s be realistic. When you compare to ebay. Etsy abs others, this by far out performs all the others and is simple to use just like the web based seller central.
There are always ways to improve of course but as for me it gives everything you need in one place.
I just wish there was an iPad version but to be honest on an iPad you can use the web version with no problems.

I used your app when I first got my iPhone a couple of years ago. Mainly because your mobile web page didn't work.
Then the mobile site started working again earlier this year so stopped using the app. Then recently the mobile site was intermittent sometimes it would work sometimes not so got the app again.
But ive noticed that searching on the app is worse than the site or mobile site.
When I searched for something on the app it doesn't allways show everything thats Available. So I won't be using the app ever again as its so intermittent on how it works a bit like your mobile site but at least the mobile site while it works shows me everything on the site.

Why oh why can’t we sort wishlists by priority at Christmas?!

In many ways I love this app; everything just works… except that for some bonkers reason you have removed the ability to sort wishlists. All of my family add priorities to wishlists, particularly before Christmas and birthdays. Many items on our lists are simply notes to self, household bits and pieces, etc, which we may or may not return to. Highest and high priority items are those that we’d genuinely like to receive as gifts. People we invite to the lists have to be able to see these items, and only these, not the miscellaneous other stuff. The removal of our ability to actually view these priorities easily has ruined the whole point of using lists for gift purchases, and caused much frustration.
Please fix it, so that your features don’t corral us in ways you want us to go but instead focus on helping us to do what we want, which is ultimately to easily buy the right things from you.

Cannot share a product!! It’s so hit and miss. Firstly it’s almost impossible for anyone to realise where the share button is. Once it’s found (hovering over the actual product images) it’s impossible to tap and select!
It just does not work on countless products. Make it easier! Make it simple. Place the share button at the top right next to the product title/name. Or under the pricing or in the description. Anywhere but on top of the images. You click on the share button and sometimes it opens the image itself. I’m having to screenshot products to send or just give up and go on the browser/laptop. Absurd UI. Plenty of other reviews have talked about dark patterns too and it’s obvious. Results shown in-App are different to in browser. This should be a super slick and easy way to search for products. Sharing products to compare with your friends or family should be just straightforward. Why have you made the above difficult?

The new update has done nothing of note but change colours and move stuff around. Why after so many years would you change something. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it is clearly something the developers haven’t heard before. And why the hell can I still not buy and download kindle books using the app?
Edit: The app was reverted back to the old version a few days after this review but has now changed back again. You get nothing but bad reviews every time you push this ridiculous, user unfriendly update. People like the old version, it’s easy to Use, everything is easy to find and and it’s aesthetically pleasing. All things that this new version is not. Pleas stop trying to fix something that isn’t broke.

It was ok until the latest update. Now things like searches or cart content don't load on my iPhone 8 plus and I just get a white screen in the middle with “still loading” which never seems to happen. Another problem seems to be around the cart and instructions to save things, it just refuses to carry it out and I have to quit and reload the app. Typical case of why fix it when it ain’t broke?

This new version is full of bugs and horrible. Please please fix this.

The old app was great. You have turned it into an app full of frustrating bugs. It doesn’t work. It’s awful.
The price change notification in basket only stays up for a few seconds and then permanently disappears. The basket contents appears, goes blank, appears, goes blank. And other occasions it comes up and can’t close it or navigate away with forcing the app to close and start again.

Would love to see a tick box next to the items on the order page so the account holder can tick those boxes for the items which have a varied delivery period and have been delivered.
Sometimes I lose track of where I bought an item from when it gets delivered a few days or wks later if ordering from overseas.
Currently there’s no where to do this apart from printing off the order history and manually crossing off on paper what’s been delivered or not. Having that function within the app would be fabulous for all account holders.

When I search for specific items on the desktop site I can almost always find what I’m looking for but when I try to do so on the app I have found far fewer items available for viewing - sometimes only two or three out of hundreds that can be found in the website. I am giving two stars because the app is functional, just not very user friendly. The way the tabs work is needlessly annoying in that tabs pile up and there is no way to go back other than backtrack no through them all which can be tedious or skipping right back to the home page and losing all the tabs. In the end it’s easier to just use the website in chrome or safari than use this mess of an app.

This app which I use a lot has became very glitchy. I’ve never known issues like it. When viewing an item and also when viewing a description of an item the top menu functions become unresponsive on a frequent basis. Almost all the time for me. The back button doesn’t work and the burger with drop down menu doesn’t work. Search doesn’t work. The home button doesn’t work. The only way around is to click on an item in the wishlist which sits at the bottom of the app. The same thing happens over again with the next product. Disappointed to say the very least. Please fix this.

Whenever I try to tap to ‘Proceed to Checkout’, it asks me to enter my password. When I enter it, that screen then disappears and I get a message saying “Oops, something went wrong” and throws me back to my basket, BUT when I then tap ‘Proceed to Checkout’ again, it brings me to the Order Confirmation page and when I tap ‘Confirm’ it sends me back to my basket and I have to tap ‘Proceed to Checkout’ again and the same process starts all over again. In the end I have to go to the actual website and purchase from there.
Kind of defeats the object of having an app...

What has happened to this app! 15 various items were in my basket. I go to checkout and are told that some items qualify for free delivery. Great. I continue to checkout and see that my items are automatically sorted into 5 dispatches. I continue to checkout and get sent back to the same page telling me I have free delivery items. This goes on and on and on over and over again and then I get kicked out and have to sign in again. Your twitter page can't help and you email people want a screenshot. Just fix the app!

I’ve sent feedback via customer service about issues with the iOS app, but don’t think these points are being sent to Developers. When purchasing an item, it’s not possible to visit a Seller’s Store to see if they have other similar items. Also, when filtering search results by price ‘low to high’ for example, thousands of items disappear from search results. ??
I’d like to see ‘slide left’ actions to manage recommended products, items inspired by shopping trends and items viewed etc.
