Never left a review before, I used to love this game and have been playing this for over 7 years , occasionally had issues but always seem to be sorted quite quickly but the latest ones seem to be lasting for weeks, puts an advert in the middle of level 2 every time I play, the advert is on for a full 5 mins and will not close and if it does close says I have lost the level I was in the middle of and I lose a life, seriously considering deleting the app as it’s just not fun anymore just very frustrating

I bought a golden pass which is meant to enhance the experience of playing by earning rewards as you achieve challenges. well it froze in day one and didn’t work. I am at a point that all I get is you have completed every level available on endless on the journey I have caught up so now iv got no new levels to play ridiculous as why have an endless level and get to a sudden star stop in arendell and now can’t play now other than boring same bits. Update 2 - I have downgraded my stars to 3 because of the amount of adverts that have started to appear (mid 2021). They are simply too frequent now, often with two in a row. This makes gameplay frustrating and unpleasant.

Update 1 - on endless levels some of the games are pretty much impossible to win without using one or more special powers, which is very annoying as it makes you feel like the developers are deliberately being mean, e.g. level 1133.

Original review - As you would expect from Disney, this is a beautiful looking game, but it's also a very nice game to play as well.

Not sure why but the last few months this game has gotten harder to play. Some levels are near impossible it’s become frustrating. The bonuses have changed and aren’t as good (hour free has become 30 mins, etc) and I can’t remember the last time I received new items for the plaza despite moving up the levels. I have had an issue with one of the special challenges for over a week. I got stuck in a “congratulations” screen with no way out. This was not fatal whilst the challenge was current as I could quit the challenge screen before the congratulations banner loaded (if I was quick!). Since the challenge has ended I have no workaround and the game is totally unplayable. There have been 2 updates since I raised this with Jam City support, neither of which has addressed this issue, so I’m still unable to play, which is a shame as it’s a good game when it’s working.

It now tells me I have won the contents of a box, I open it and something spins out across the screen leaving the box empty and the screen frozen. Even when I restart the idad it happens again!

Level 469 is absolutely impossible without using your bonuses. I have found this to be the case on several levels lately.

The one I’m talking about only gives you 31 moves and it’s nowhere near enough.

You have to light the fire, which releases the flowers, destroy the flowers which takes up loads of moves once this is done it releases a colour gem which you need to get rid of the stained glass window which blocks the socks coming down then once that is removed you can actually begin to complete the set task but by this time you have less than 10 moves, if you’re lucky, sometimes less than 5 or no moves left at all, and then you have to dye 8 sets of socks!

The longer you have to play the same game to move up the more boring it becomes. I don’t mind using the odd bonus to finish a level but on several levels now I find I am using five or six.

A lot of the time it is luck with this game because if the wrong colour gems are continually sent down you have no chance no matter how good a strategic player you are.

Recent update has stopped the ‘speed up’ option. I am disappointed they have removed this as we are all sitting in our homes with nothing to do due to Covid 19, once your 5 lives are gone it’s at least 30 minutes before you can play again, they are just wanting us to pay for extra lives! Come on Disney we are all at risk of losing our jobs due to this!

Not impressed, was doing the build Elsa’s ice palace challenge, taken quite a few attempts as well after giving up several times, I got to the last level and needed just one more troll, but had no lives left or anything, so I tried to purchase one of the small deals so I could get that last troll, the purchase doesn’t seem to of been successful as I checked and have no power ups or lives but it (ironically) froze the game and wouldn’t let me continue, it reset the levels back to the start of the second half, can’t be bothered to go through it all again cause I used all my power ups and wouldn’t even have enough to try and complete them consecutively! This has just made me want to uninstall the game now, I was enjoying it before I had my time and everything wasted.

Still never did get my bundle that I paid for :/

Also now having issues with the collectibles, I’m currently playing the birthday cake levels, I know for a fact I have collected a lot of the slices but they are missing from the board when I view it? I recently collected a cake slice and completed the level it dropped in, I went straight to the board and the cake was missing, anyone else having this issue? Some of the levels I played so many times just to get the cakes to drop and lost them, I don’t even know if they would drop again.

I’m wondering if there’s a bug in the game today as I’ve completed two levels, had the ‘well done’ and gone through my remaining lives to gain further points but it doesn’t take me to the next level, it simply asks me to replay the last one.

Also, the fireworks on level 149 appeared faulty. They simply kept spinning, even though I had zero left to collect so I should have won the level.

Congratulations Disney, you managed to mess up the whole game again. I had just a bit more than 400 hearts saved up from daily log-ins and after the up update it all has been DELETED. And on top of this we've got this full with bugs and disgusting plastic looking design, oh yes, we all needed this. I've been playing this game on multiple devices since the launch (and in the first year spent hundreds of £ on power ups) but now I am seriously considering DELETING the whole thing and just forget about it. There are so many other games out there where developers LISTEN to the feedbacks from players.

Quit playing this game after they introduced this new horrible design and game become as clone to candy crash, left negative review then along with other negative reviews the other people wrote not being happy with the update and asking to bring the old fancy design back, that obviously didn’t happen so here we are, I’m deleting this game to never come back. Having issues with in-app purchases but can’t figure out how to contact support to resolve them. Played the game on my phone yesterday and purchased 2 X-large snowball packs at £4.99 each. When my invoice came it had also charged me for 2 X-large snowball packs bought on my iPad - I didn’t play the game in my iPad yesterday so didn’t make any purchases so how can I be charged for those? This has happened a couple of times before but I didn’t realise.

Why do I have to log into Facebook every day? It always use to stay logged in before the last update, it gets really annoying having to log in again everyday 😏

I would like to add that the support team have been very good..but..although there has been another update today this problem is exactly the same, still have to sign in to Facebook every time 😔 please do another update so that we don’t have to sign in EVERY TIME that you play. I love playing the game but it so annoying and boring when your stuck on a level for days even weeks. Please can't u do an update with a free level skip please. I’ve been playing this game for years. Today I wanted to continue playing level1076 in endless levels. Sadly everything I’ve done is gone !! It’s telling me to finish all seasons before I can play endless. Cannot get into the arendelle plaza as it’s telling me I’ve not played enough games !! Everything from years of playing GONE. I’ve purchased items over the time I’ve played so surely there is a history of purchasing to prove I’ve been playing a while? Please help.

Overall it is a brilliant game and you don’t need to spend money to progress. You just need strategy and patience. So why the one star rating and not 4 or 5? Since last update you can no longer see friends progress so it now becomes a personal challenge which takes the fun out of it. Please re-instate this and bring the fun back. Also don’t like the idea of having to log in every time I open the app to send lives. You really need to sort this out in a further update. I am seriously thinking about deleting this game unless you are able to reinstate being able to see friends progress.

Been playing this game for a long time and generally enjoy it. But please, if you are going to make us complete levels consecutively (castle, cake & northern lights), fix the crashing!!!! Have lost count of how many times I have been forced back to level one on the current northern lights period through no fault of my own.

Update 22nd April 2018: I am done. After reporting an issue with game progress not saving, when I returned later the same day the game had completely reset. Lost everything. Took 5 years to get where I was and do not have the inclination to do it again. Real shame.

Play every day, love the regular maps but the special events are very difficult to complete within the time and the rewards are poor. I would recommend you do not use your bonus moves to complete them.

There needs to be an improvement on the new Arendelle map it is quite boring and apart from collecting the coins and shields has little interest. The objects are a bit pointless and you can't zoom in to see them very well. If there was a daily game in the town it would be a little more interesting. None of the main characters are there.

Ive been playing this game for about 3 years now. I mean literally full time for three years. My ex girlfriend originally downloaded it..it's lasted longer than her. I made a new friend on the tube last week because we were both playing it. Imagine that, an actual conversation, with a stranger ON THE TUBE. It kept me company backpacking around the world and im still not bored of it. This game has taken over my life..hundreds of other games have come and gone in that time but frozen freefall has been the one constant that's got me through all the good and bad times. I love you Frozen Freefall & I'm not even ashamed ❤️

I used to enjoy this game, and the Malificent one, especially the mini games however as I progress through the levels I have found that the games cheat by not giving the special gems that it should from certain match combinations. Also it is nearly impossible to earn the rewards from the mini games without spending more than you can earn. It really takes the fun out, and I am now removing both games from my account.

On ALL of the alternative games you have to win all levels consecutively or it's tough luck and you are back to the start unless you pay up for some 'gems' to help you. Sorry Disney this just smacks of corporate greed, so I will just continue to play the main game and move on through the levels as and when the game allows.

I have now completed over 900 levels without buying any additional lives. You just have to be patient and wait for lives to refill if you lose your last one. I am 61 and work full time as a nurse and being able to dip in and out of this game when I have spare time is a real stress buster. I love Olaf’s dance when you win one of his levels and I enjoy the challenge of the increasing difficulty as you move up the levels.

Found this game and downloaded it about 2 months ago... I've been in it every day. I always go in to get my daily rewards and then into the plaza to collect shields and coins. I have never bought additional items before but did the other day!!! The levels can be challenging but as other customers have said, be patient and it will pay off. I was a bit frustrated in the mini games that I got within one item of winning and then got put back to the first checkpoint, but I suppose that's the draw to buy additional items.

I play this game a lot - too much probably. I don't understand why everything has to have some sort of magic and occult-type content in it now. This is one of the reasons I like this game. It is a good mix of challenge levels as well as a good variety of games, by nothing spiritistic that I can see. I have tried many other games, but always keep coming back to this. It probably helps that I liked the movie too.

I play this almost every day and really enjoy it. Some of the levels can be quite challenging but with patience you can get through them. I don’t buy any of the add-ons (so probably not their ideal customer!) but still get through the levels.

There’s not enough to do in the new Arendelle plaza part of the game though. I’ve collected tons of coins but nothing to spend them on (no point in another lamppost!!!) and this aspect could do with some more challenges. That’s reason for 4 stars.

Not a big fan of the new feature where you pass a certain number of levels and then the next three are locked and you have to wait two periods of 24 hours to play them . I don’t understand the negative comments about gambling and having to buy lives etc. I am on level 337 and have never bought lives or any help. With a bit of patience and skill you can pass all levels without having to spend any money. Yes on harder levels you will spend longer time player nag until you pass that level but you don’t have to buy anything.
