Description
In 1987, five young men, using brutally honest rhymes and hardcore beats, put their frustration and anger about life in the most dangerous place in America into the most powerful weapon they had: their music. Straight Outta Compton stars O’Shea Jackson Jr., Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell as Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, and is directed by F. Gary Gray. The drama is produced by original N.W.A members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who are joined by fellow producers Tomica Woods-Wright, Matt Alvarez, Gray, and Scott Bernstein. Will Packer serves as executive producer of the film alongside Adam Merims, David Engel, Bill Straus, Thomas Tull, and Jon Jashni.

This film is about the history of foundation of rap music (right before Dona Direidi & Honey G existed) Dr. Dre and his gangster buddies go and meet each other. Also, Ignore Antastic in 3D's review, She doesn't think that movie is good.

Brings back memories
This movie is nothing short of spectacular. If you are a fan of hip hop and how these guys became who they are now. You must watch this. Takes me back to the days when Eazy E passed away. Epic film

Don't judge a film by its trailer
I must admit it was much better then I thought it was gonna be, I found the trailer a bit cheesy and it got played so much on YouTube, but it's actually a really good film a must see if your into hip hop or even just a fan of Dre or Ice Cube etc 👍🏾

This for me is one of the best put together films I have watched in a decade.
I’m 34 and it took me back to my youth as some of these guys started.
Great story, great music.
A simple must buy for any iTunes collection even if your not that into hip hop / rap.

Best movie I've seen in a LONG time
Epic film...was apprehensive about watching it but intrigued because I love a true story! But it blew me away...can't wait to watch again. Release it on iTunes already.

I'm not into hip hop, so wasn't expecting much from the movie. It was brilliant! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it, and by how much of the music I knew. Highly recommend. The performances were great too.

This film is something else. Highly recommended to anyone who even has a slight interest in the late 80's/early 90's hip hop. Still would watch even if not!
Hopefully there will be a sequel to pick up with Tupac etc.
