If you can’t sleep this would be a very good bedtime film
Ed Skrein plays Frank Martin, a former special-ops mercenary, who now works transporting classified packages for questionable people in the south of France. When Frank's father (Ray Stevenson), pays him a visit, their father-son bonding weekend soon takes a turn for the worst when Frank is engaged by the cunning femme-fatale, Anna (Loan Chabonol), to help orchestrate the bank heist of the century. Frank must use his covert expertise as they are thrust into a dangerous game of chess with a team of gorgeous women looking for revenge.
2 stars…. for the car only!!
Wasn't expecting an Oscar winning performance but this movie has poor acting, poor storyline and really isn't worth paying to watch - thankfully I didn't pay full price!! Well done to Apple and Audi on the product placement throughout the movie - the only part of the movie done well ...
Not so good how I was expecting.
It will never work without Jason, he's the transporter.
Jason Statham rules but its a good effort, still worth viewing
I have never seen a worse film.
If you can get over the fact that jason statham is not in it,then you will enjoy it for what it is.A good action film with some some semblance of a story. However there were a few unbelievable scenes and cheesy lines which I did not mind. Good film to rent hence four stars.
See this as a new transporter movie without comparing it to Stathans version. As a movie this is pretty decent.
The best acting, by far, was the performance of the Audi R8
While this isn't better than the first Transporter film, I'd definitely say it's better than the over-the-top CGI filled stunts of the second one and possibly slightly better than the third one.
While it is a shame to see Jason Statham leave I think Ed Skrein does a good job taking over and the addition of Frank's father played by Ray Stevenson adds a nice new dynamic too.
Overall it's an enjoyable film if you can get past the change in actor. I've actually re-watched it a couple of times now which to me is a sign I definitely enjoyed it.
Not sure it's refuelled as running on empty. Poor acting, terrible story, limited action. Waste of time, effort and money.
Don't waste your money.
Poor film, badly cast actors and the whole thing gets progressively worse!
Do not pay to watch this!
After watching this, I preferred Jason Statham! What a disappointment!!
