Description

Revealing the events behind Kurt Cobain's death as seen through the eyes of Tom Grant, the private investigator hired by Courtney Love in 1994 to track down her missing husband, only days before his deceased body was found at their Seattle home. Cobain's death was ruled as suicide by the police (a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound). However doubts have circulated for over two decades as to the legitimacy of this ruling, especially due to the work of Mr. Grant, a former L.A. County Sheriff's detective, who did his own investigation and determined there was significant empirical and circumstantial evidence to conclude that foul play could very well have occurred. The film develops as a narrative mystery with cinematic re-creations, interviews with key experts and witnesses and the examination of official artefacts from the 1994 case.

This film is so captivating and chilling. Fully recommend watching, only heard of nirvana a few weeks ago, and I'm so engrossed.
If all the events are in fact true then it's undeniable.

Genuinely knew nothing about it....

I was reading a music review and noticed a Cobain fan using the M word in reference to his wife. Puzzled, I researched to discover investigation notes, recordings, watched Nick Broomfield's documentary and now Soaked in Bleach. I've never been so drawn in. Quite honestly I think the injustice has gripped me. If someone of Kurt Cobain's stature can't obtain justice who can.
If you appreciated Cobain/Nirvana this is well worth watching. I hope they reopen this case independently, liberating suppressed answers and the many seemingly afraid people who appear to know more than they are comfortable to say.
Had to rewrite as my first review disappeared.

Very compelling

All fans of Nirvana should watch this documentary. Most of the story is based on taped conversations recorded by a conscientious private investigator/ex-cop tasked with finding Cobain in the days leading up to his death. If your idea of what happened is based on news from that time, you'll be surprised at the quality of evidence, research and logic that went into this. All of the top experts interviewed strongly recommend the case be reopened for independent investigation.

Eye opening!!
