Such a great film very touching and an excellent take on managing a city life

Oh what a stupid movie, too long and insufficient content, with a silly cops and robbers caper in the middle and an ending that makes you wonder what was the point.

A sensitive and insightful film filled with love and wisdom. A story of ambition, touched with betrayal and forgiveness. Drama at its best. The characters are convincing and the story line surprising. A good film.

This isn't a film that's going to change the world but is one of those feel good movies, at the end of which you just feel a littel bit happier and with a more positive view on humanity. Oh, and nice performances too

Like a drama then a comedy

It is a feel-good film. You will feel good after watching it. There are some useful tips in life and relationship alongside laughters.

I think Jules is fashionally inspired by Miranda (the Devil Wears Prada).

Nice, heart-warming film. DeNiro has a certain charm as the older gentleman who is trying to bring back a bit of class to the modern ways of working/dressing, etc.

Great chemistry between DeNiro and Hathaway - played off each other perfectly and were believable characters.

The scene which was played out in an Ocean's Eleven style was comic genius and the supporting cast - although smallish parts - made the most out of their screen time.

In the end, I was left a little disappointed as it doesn't really wrap things up - not like 'The Holiday' or 'What Women Want' for example.

Still, a very nice way to spend an afternoon/evening!

Spot the Sponsored Reviews…. “Amazing, Beautiful, Wonderful”. It’s none of that. Perhaps if you’re a 3yr old? This is possibly the worst movie of the year. Judge for yourself if you must. Hathaway is sickly and really rather annoying on screen, De Niro is a spare part. Weak script, weak performances. No more to add. A Pre-Order lesson learned.

Robert de Niro never makes a bad movie! Appears funny and touching at the same time. Supported well by Hathaway. Good, relaxed movie.

I have just watched this movie. It’s a nice little movie all about the trials of modern business people, especially in the creative industry. How often is it that you encounter the Robert De Niro type of character who helps people in times of stress.

Not very good. De Niro was great - as you'd expect but it's DWP with role reversal. Turned it off halfway through and didn't bother to finish it.. A waste of $4.49 :-(

With so many 5-star reviews and just a handful of poor ones I decided to go with the majority. Bad choice! It is totally lacking in any darkness, conflict or jeopardy whatsoever. It attempts to deal with feminist themes, which would be good if it were not quite so sickly sweet and far removed from reality, with male characters so lacking in credibility that it feels as though they were created by someone whose only experience of men might have come from reading a Jane Austin novel. Having said all that, women will probably like it.

To be fair watched it for the Mrs, but even she was cringing at the poor acting and desperate story line. What a waste of £4.99! Would have preferred to wash the car for 2 hours.

Great family, date night film. Nice story, and well acted. No Oscars to be won here but worth the rental.

This is a very sweet film ... really quite sickly sweet, in fact. If you don’t like schmaltz or idealism, best avoid. I hesitate to call it a ‘chick flick’ - the plot is not geared towards romance and its themes are rather feminist - but it has a similar tone and overall feel (complete with plinky piano score) to other movies labelled as such.

The performances are good and it’s enjoyable, but certainly not the five-star ‘classic' some reviews are making out. More of a nice, gentle watch for a Sunday afternoon.

(Tl;dr - Soppy and soft, but a pleasant enough ‘feel-good’ film.)

Sat at home bored with a few hours to kill; and this turned out to be a great way to do that! :-)

Thoroughly enjoyable feel- good movie despite the cliche bits.

A retired man (De Niro) bored of his idle life becomes an intern to a web company to feel useful and assists a workaholic boss (Hathaway). After making fun of him the youngsters start to respect a humble but grounded De Niro especially Hatwaya who wants to dict him first but at the end confines in him her troubled married life and difficult career.

The plot is too happy... too sugary…everybody, I mean... everybody likes De Niro, everybody is happy, super happy, except Hathaway who cries and cries…acting is great though and saves an awkward script. Worth watching for the two leads

I don’t know why, but after watching this film I felt happy and content with myself - surely that’s a good sign!

Acting is great with De Niro working well alongside Hathaway.

This film is hugely re-watchable - so good value for money!
