It was a very good film with a very good plot

This movie is a great movie if youre wanting thrill and excitement throughout. Very clever storyline. One of my favorite movies.

The film made me utterly upset that it wasn't good! It was terrible, no action. No suspenseful twists and really weird. Also so twilight stuff in there too(romance) which makes it more dreadful to watch! We rate this film a 2.5/5 for OK acting and some good-ish CGI and FX. Has the potential to be good if done correctly.

In fairness, I suspect the film is so dull because it is taken from another of those YA books in a series, written to wring as much cash out of the gullible as possible. So, yet again, we get a conflicted, overly earnest young female lead having to negotiate her way through a dystopian near future in which only the good looking, youthful and bland survive. I wasnt expecting much but am always interested in any depiction of the future as a scifi buff. I should have known. Hackneyed characterisation (when will Hollywood realise that the punk/goth thing is 40 years old..?). The film drags interminably from about a third of the way in. I just wanted all of them to die quickly so I could be put out of my misery. This is cynical, exploitative rubbish cashing in on the whole Hunger Games et al, a ship that sailed some time ago.

May have been ok but half the content is a black screen

I have no idea why this is 3.5 stars as part of my life has been wasted watching it which I can never get back

Honestly the army base being run by the aliens is not suprise in the least. Infact what got me was that none of the kids asked where their parents were. That and super alien guy person at the end that destroyed the base. The premise was good however, the telling of the tale was not.

Almost along the right lines but not pulled off well, certainly not worthy of anything more than 3 stars. An average film,

This is a very good film that I have described as a good film to all ages above 10 out of five stars I give it a 4 1/2.

The lead actress must have connections because she's straight out of drama school and distracting at best.

Ok and for the record London is not a 'costal city'. TV special FX. Worth a rent though if your bored. Almost but not quite as bad as San Andreas or San An-dross. 😝 Actually ! This might be the worst film I've ever seen 😂

Divergent meets outer limits meets, body snatchers, meets every other sci-fi copy you've ever seen.

Seen it before, guess the twist within 10 minutes and ending in in 15. A lazy, poorly thought out movie with average acting.

Great acting, great thrill aspect, doesn't follow the book exactly but still enjoyed it!! I reckon people who have read the book first will enjoy it more as they know the story behind it, the details, more about the characters and the clever plot line, whilst the film is simplified a lot.

It’s OK. More of a splish splash splosh flick than a serious sci-fi film. Intellect is not required.

The clips I saw made this film look amazing. Should have stuck with the clips as the rest of the film is pretty predictable. If you are a sci fi fan and liked the twilight movies then great, if not then don't bother.

Why oh why did I continue watching absolutely awful and not worth the money paid for the film avoid at all cost. Wanted to give zero stars but it wont let you!!

If you are dumb enough this will be fine, if you question the logic and plot then you will maybe enjoy the ride but find it very shallow, I really hope the ending does not lead to any sequels as once was more than enough, not one that will be watched ever again.

This film doesn't disappoint...I wasn't expecting much and I wasn't disappointed. Dystopian future...check; Young woman main character...check; Two hunky men she can't choose between...check. A cynical attempt to cash in on Hunger Games without the plot, acting, characters or depth. Some of the plot was so awful it had my jaw hitting the floor. Two stars as the initial set-up had me interested but a very rapid decline after 20 minutes. Don't say I didn't warn you!

This is one poor film. The continuity is dreadful and the story line full of holes and as weak as water.

this fillm is deredful, it starts rather well, good concept and such, but once the plot start panning out its very weak, its just a story abiout a girl finding her brother nothing more, you get no attachment to the characters, lacking depth and everything, this film in comparison to the book is terible

This film is honestly the best film I have ever seen, it is better than The hunger games, divergent etc. It is honestly amazing, the casting to the filming, everything is great. You should defiantly see this movie!

Don't waste your money on this film. Unless you're struggling to sleep, then it might be worth the price. What these other reviewers were watching I'll never know?

I just seen this film in the cinema and Wow what a thrilling experience it was! The 5th Wave provides a fresh new twist on the alien invasion genre. Packed with explosive action, stunning visual effects and a fantastic cast (particularly Chloe Grace Moretz and Nick Robinson),The 5th Wave excels and delivers us a fun, action packed thriller with shocking twists that turn the entire story on it's head. I loved every minute! There are two strong dramatic arcs that anchor the film and lead to an epic conclusion!

I would highly recommend The 5th Wave! Definitely worth going to see in the cinema on the big screen!

I’d been looking forward to seeing The 5th Wave for a while now and it didn’t disappoint!
