Description

After moving to a small town, Zach Cooper finds a silver lining when he meets next door neighbor Hannah, the daughter of bestselling Goosebumps series author R.L. Stine. Stine is very strange and mysterious and it turns out for good reason. He is a prisoner of his own imagination – the monsters that his books made famous are real, and Stine protects his readers by keeping them locked up in their books. When Zach unintentionally unleashes the monsters from their manuscripts and they begin to terrorize the town, it’s suddenly up to Stine, Zach and Hannah to get all of them back in the books where they belong.

As a kid growing up watching the original tv series I really wanted to see this film. Started off very well...really funny in places like the invisible kid and dummy. Also, I love the characterisations of champ and Hannah but felt it went off towards the end ...maybe the editor took his eye off the ball...?Shame asit could of been really done good. All in all worth a watch !! Even jack black was under acting ...

It is a good film and all the actors are good in it. It is also very funny but there are some bits that do not make sense like the end which makes no sense. Even though some bits did not make sense it was still a lot of fun to watch. I suggest renting it

I found it very funny and enjoyed the film (I wouldn't say it was scary- but I didn't expect it to be). Would watch again

It's basically Jumanji, but not as good. Poor acting sooooo predicable. Poor story that really doesn't make sense and the worst of all it has been left open for a sequel.

For those of you who remember the original series you'll probably be as disappointed as I was. I went to see it with my niece and found the plot far too predictable. The acting was okay in parts, but for a scary film, the only scary thing about it was the dummy. I know it's a kids film but still, you'd be better of watching the tv series. Same rating but far better storylines.
