Description

Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is a fresh twist on Jane Austen's widely celebrated novel. Congratulations to the cast for "sincere" performances despite the plot of Pride & Prejuduce centering around a zombie apocalypse. 'Chalk & Cheese' come to mind when describing this movie but for what it is, it's a fun story and definitely not something to take seriously....at all...
I do hope they make a sequel.

Not funny, not scary

This film is a bit of a mess. It starts well suggesting Shaun of the Dead levels of gore mixed with brillinat humor but after about 20 minutes it was obvious it wasn't going to deliver. It wasn't funny enough or scary enough. A good idea, good cast and some beautiful shots but script and direction meant I was eager for the film to finish. The ending was very poor.

Given the contrasting genres that this movie combines (neither of which I am a great fan of on its own) I was not expecting much. So it was a great surprise when it turned out to be the most charming and humorous zombie flic that I have seen.
It has some great lines. My favourite is "Zombies or no zombies, all women must think of marriage." Although, given recent events, the most profound is "I was unaware that zombies possessed such acuity so as to set such traps. Before we know it, they'll be running for Parliament."
Perhaps it could be serialised as the Wuthering Dead?

this should not be used for a your exam revsion on litterature, :) that said, if you want a mad night in you may consider this ideal........
genius meets, WTF and to much money in a good way.
go on rent it at least for the fun of it.

A movie that doesn't take it's self to seriously. The story lines great as well as the action, plenty of laugh's along the way! This is a movie i would be happy to come back to time and time again!
