In this outrageously raunchy comedy, millionaire control freak Christian Black (Marlon Wayans) introduces shy college student Hannah Steele (Kali Hawk) to the world of "romance" after she interviews him for her school newspaper. Their hilariously kinky relationship stumbles forward despite Christian's spectacular shortcomings as a lover and the over-the-top antics of his cluelessly racist adoptive mother Claire (Jane Seymour), his extremely well-endowed brother Eli (Affion Crockett) and Hannah's hyper-sexual roommate Kateesha (Jenny Zigrino).
Fifty Shades of Black
The Wife and I thought we would have a laugh watching this. It's rubbish!
Turned off after the 5 mins and unwatchable. Not funny just a lot of insults.
50 shades of black is a great film BUT....
Before watching make sure that you watch 50 Shades of Grey first or you won't get any of the references.
The film itself is hard to get into to begin with as they literally take every scene and turn it into a joke. Give it time and you will begin to enjoy it, laugh and love it.
Only reason it's 4/5 and not 5/5 is because it was hard to get into to begin with.
Don't waste your money. We couldn't watch past the first 5 minutes - pleased I only rented it.
There's nothing humorous, it's just a string of insults, cheap jokes and slapstick. I guess the writers were on strike for this one.....
