I hired this for 99p as an afterthought to the Christmas list... when I think of all the A-list rubbish I watched glad I saved this for New Year's Eve, easily the best of the lot and the only one I hadn't heard of. I am equally guilty of not believing what I was seeing when Ewan McGregor's name showed up in the credits. Quite happy to watch it a couple of times more, very well done.

Good film... not much action... usual story but well directed and nice photography

Surprised when McGregor showed up in credits

Was a strong performance on his part imo. Pretty well rounded film that spoke louder than the title itself (expected it to be a cheesy though easy watchable movie)... worth a watch.

A thoroughly enjoyable film

This film got pretty average reviews so I did not expect much. So much for reviews. I really enjoyed the film. It moves along at a good pace and has some good and original ideas that carry very well. Good story and good acting. I warmly recommend this film.

Finely crafted Western - the story is well paced and well served by sound and photography. Beautiful performances across the board, not least from the leads, all the more powerful for their restraint. Cracking dialogue which offers just the right touches of humour to lighten up the stark drama.

No Subtitles.

Its 2016 and Apple are still selling films without subtitles.
Just ridiculous.
