Oh dear !!!

Very poor in every way. Only stuck it out to the end because I'd paid for it. It doesn’t even have a proper end. It just sort of, finishes. 8-(

Average with Very Poor Ending

Doesn't get going, plot is both predictable and floored in its weird ending.
Good actors let down by the script- don't understand the rave reviews.....

Average

I judge films by would I buy them? This one I wouldn't mainly because it's one of those stories that have been done to death.

Dull

Couldn't even be bothered to watch it to the end unfortunately.

The Problem is in the Script

Underwhelmed by this dark comedy about two rogue cops. The actors are fine masters of their craft. But they can't make the thing fly, when the script is so leaden and the plot predictable. There is very little tension, so it was hard to keep interest for the last quarter of an hour. It is a reminder of how difficult it is is to write a really good script. The opening scene is a metaphor for the movie: the activity looked pleasurable but the soul wasn't really in it.

OMG poor Nicolas Cage

This must be one of the worst movies I have ever rented. No story, no action and not even nice scenery.

Two Stellar Performances

Cage is certainly being lauded for his role in this film, and rightly so, but personally I thought Wood done good too. A smart little film with good dialogue and a plot that's not as over the top as it could have been. Enjoyed this way more than I thought I would, glad I took a chance on it..

So much fun!

One helluva feature debut from the young directing team.
This a properly dark comedy. Great to see Cage back on form and his chemistry with Elijah Wood is pitch perfect.
Would recommend!

In a word: Odd.

Classic Cage, fairly low grade material. Worth a watch, just. Don’t get your hopes up.

Nic Cage Rocks!!

I absolutely loved this film; Nicolas Cage is certainly back to his best with this performance. Elijah Wood is incredibly funny throughout and makes for a perfect double act! Certainly worth a watch.

Was so pleasantly surprised at this.
Cage is back to his best, he looks like he actually enjoyed playing this part!
The Directors are clearly ones to watch out for.

Cage at his best!

So nice to see Nic Cage in a dark comedy again. I loved him in Bad Lieutenant and his performance is definitely on par here. Elijah is great too.
