Description

Fantastic film, if you are a Warcraft fan I highly recommand you see this. Typical lead to suggest there will be another one made. To gain another star I personally feel they should have used a certain character more.

Awful story but good CGI
Save your money the CGI is the only good thing about this movie. Certain character motivations are not explained properly. Characters switch side on a whim then switch back again. Certain characters just drop out of the movie and turn up without an explanation of motives when they do something unexpected . Its just inconsistent.

Excellent - I really hope there's a sequal
It was brilliant - I especially like the way that the love story was totally relevant to the main plot at the end. It was a unique story - quite unlike any other I've seen or read. It had everything - action, comedy, tragedy, romance and horror. I hope there are more Warcraft films made.

A fun ride
This was surprisingly good. I'd read some negative reviews by critics but if you enjoy fantasy or s/f then you'll enjoy it. It's got lots of action and high production costs.

This is an awe-inspiring movie, especially for fans of the games but also for all fans of the fantasy genre. Here's hoping more sequels are in the works, there is a deep and emotional lore to explore.

Well Worth the Purchase
I am not a fan of WoW, but the CGI in this film is very good, lots of details.
I have watched it 4 times in 24 hours since I bought it.
One of the best CGI since the Avatar, definitely worth renting it.
I dun understand how it could get bad reviews, may be the lead actors were not famous enough, i dun know; highly recommended!

Felt like a prelude
Bitty, disjointed and lacking real narrative. That said, the CGI is impressive. I can imagine this is the first of an intended trilogy, as it felt like a warmup to the big show.

As a huge World of Warcraft fan I was really looking forward to seeing this and it didn't disappoint. Absolutely loved it, great CGI for the most part with just a few sub par scenes. Overall the acting is pretty great, just maybe 1 or 2 incidents of poor acting, however, even my wife who knows nothing about Warcraft thoroughly enjoyed it. Seen it multiple times in the cinema. Overall a fantastic film, not perfect but well on it's way. Here's to a second film!

True to Warcraft and it's lore.
Amazing movie. Yes, there are some lore changes, but perhaps for the better. CGI is stunning, and easter eggs are great for fans of WoW to see. Got to see this movie in Japan, in an empty cinema, and it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Perfect for the die-hard Warcraft fan!

Have been a player since warcraft 2 and have been playing World of Warcraft since beta all those years ago.
This film is as true to the warcraft universe as any player would want - incredible!
Ignore the film critics and see this film, you'll regret it if you don't!

As a fan of the franchise and as a lore need I'm quite happy with how it turned out the acting is a bit off on some scenes but that's because of the lines them selfs nothing to do with the acting it's self it's because they have to add in all the information for people who don't know anything about Warcraft so they know what's going on we're as the fans will be like yeah I knew that. The changes they made to the lore is interesting and I like what they did with the story I would highly recommends his film to anyone

Great film. But probably the best thing about it is the world design, so true to the source material. If you have any interest in the strategy, MMORPG or novels you'll enjoy this film.
Fingers crossed for an extended cut with those missing 40 minutes too!

Player WoW for over a decade and have been waiting for this movie way back when rumours started.
This kept true to the games / lore as best it could and entertained without alienating any non-players too much.

Amazing movie for the fans of the Warcraft franchise with all the Easter eggs and references.
I imagine it would just be a fun switch your brain off movie for those in familiar with Warcraft.
Praying for a sequel as I am a huge fan of WoW I know the story's that can be told such as Arthas, illidan and Go'el and Blackmore.
Great start to something that can only get better from here on.

CGI Saved This...
Nowhere near as good as I was expecting, had some good moments but they were outweighed by Snorecraft, couldn't understand what was being said for the first half hour and story left me behind towards the end...
The CGI was outstanding most of the time, the lead human hero was well played but this was definitely lacking something...
