Description

Disney•Pixar welcomes back to the big screen everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang Dory, who’s living happily in the reef with Nemo and Marlin. When Dory suddenly remembers that she has a family out there who may be looking for her, the trio take off on a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s Marine Life Institute. In an effort to find her parents, Dory enlists the help of Hank, a cantankerous octopus; Bailey, a beluga whale who’s convinced his biological sonar skills are on the fritz; and Destiny, a nearsighted whale shark. Navigating the complex inner workings of the MLI, Dory and her friends discover the magic within their flaws, friendships and family.

This film is awful and irritating. Gave up on it after 15minutes. Pixar is going backwards these days.

Even my very young kids lost interest! Not even close to Nemo - avoid. Ps all the good reviews must be employees of Disney!

It's good! It's got some proper laughs and fun references throughout. I feared it might be a little sub-par after the first 5-10 minutes but then it really gets going.

Amazing

It was a very good film. I thought it was going to be too much like finding nemo however it was very different and much better! Very good character ideas and also a good story line. I will definitely be buying it when it comes out.

Stupidest thing I've ever seen

Plot is really bad, and the story is the most important thing for a movie. Character traits are over exaggerated which made them really annoying.
Far-fetched scenes that make the whole thing really silly.
Animation is good as expected with Pixar, and I liked hank the octopus.

Really good film

Saw it 2 days ago.
I will just by start by saying I love Nemo. 9/10 definitely.
This film is a recycled, money grab. The jokes are he same of not annoying.
The plot is poor and badly written.
I know this is a kids film, aimed at people who don't need plot just talking animals to be happy but I'm 27 and it's poor.
2/5 or 4/10.
Great animation but no better than Nemo which is 12 years old.
Unless you have kids don't bother.

I don't wish to spoil the party but this film is nowhere near as good as Nemo.
It's great Pixar are back to their best after the crap that was the Good Dinosaur, providing a new array of characters and brilliant CGI.
Of course this is aimed at a young audience and they will love it but my 12 year old came out saying 'same old and predictable' hence was not overly excited.
The story is weak and sometimes comes close to replaying Nemo scenes. Yes Dory forgets everything but it's a little OTT that she has forgotten her parents after so long only to remember them and then looks to find them.
The saving grace is the journey to find them is fun and entertaining - you will love Hank (octopus), and the two seals, rudder and Fluke.
It's worth a viewing but hope Pixar come up with a fresh idea soon as sequels are starting to become a little frequent (eg this and then Toy Story 4 in 2018)

I saw Finding Dory in Canada on its American & Canadian release date. Shown in IMAX 3D. I looked at the screening the whole way through. I loved the short film 'Piper'. I liked the start of the movie when I saw Dory's BIG eyes. I say, she was adorable. When I saw the last of her flashbacks, I got surprised. When Dory found her parents (sorry to spoil it), I was happy & reieved in JOY!!! When the movie ended, I almost cried & I loved the movie so much. Better in IMAX 3D! 5 stars al around! The post credit was a bit of a surprise for me. That counts as another sequel for the future. Fantastic movie!!! Unforgettable movie as well! WELL DONE, PIXAR! YOU'RE THE BEST!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing Sequel to Finding Nemo!

I used to watch Finding Nemo all the time, I still think it's a brilliant Disney film. But when I saw Finding Dory, I wanted to watch it again and again! Good amount of humour, definitely has a storyline and is generally a brilliant sequel! Recommended for all ages.

Thank You Pixar!

Absolutely brilliant film, takes you back to the joys of Nemo in all ways; the story brings adventure, there are lots of laughs to be had, great new characters (and the return of some familiar faces), superlative animation and barely a drop off in pacing throughout. Nemo is a classic of the genre and, for me, has only been equaled by Wall•E and Toy Story 1 & 3, but this a worthy sequel and I loved every minute of this.
Piper, the short film that precedes it, is another wonderful example of Pixar's ability to tell a short tale without dialogue whatsoever, just using their incredible talents to bring it to life and keep you entertained.
All in all one of my favourite movie experiences of the year so far
