Description

This remake of 1981’s Goodbye Pork Pie tracks the hilarious escapades of a trio of accidental outlaws as they travel the length of New Zealand, protesting conformity and chasing lost love, with a posse of cops and a media frenzy in pursuit.
After running out on his own wedding Jon (Dean O’Gorman: The Hobbit) decides to drive cross country to win back the love of his life. He soon teams up with Luke, a young car thief in a freshly-nicked, bright orange MINI Cooper and a rebellious vegan fast food cashier. To add to Jon's romantic struggles, he and his two new mates become accidental outlaws on-the-run and soon have a frenzy of police and media hot on their tails.

Total road trip with awesome people!
What an incredible film! Everything about this New Zealand film rocks! Warm, likeable characters throughout - the trio mesh together so well. The adventure, the places, the music, that scenery - wow simply add to an uplifting, positive vibe film.
It's hilarious in parts and soulful in others.
It's definitely in my top 5 of all time favourite films. I've seen it 15 times now and never tire of it.
The Mini Cooper S in it in the sexy yellowy orange has made me fall in love with Cooper S's all over again and brings back memories of when I graduated from university in 2005 and the road trips that I had in mine whilst blowing off the doors with its amazing MINI sound system :)

Very funny
Heartwarming and very funny road trip movie set in New Zealand, made me lol a lot. Similar humour to Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Recommended!
