Ant-Man and The Wasp make up for a great duo, both complementing each others strengths and weaknesses. This movie seemed to benefit The Wasp a little bit more though, making Ant-Man a little stupid, which he is shown otherwise in the first movie. Michael Peña's character Luis is the stand out, being the main comedic character. Acting is amazing overall. Paul Rudd gives a charming performance as always, Evangeline Lilly gives you a badass female superhero to root for, and Michael Peña gives a comedic performance, stealing every scene he is in. Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas also steal the show, but their characters don't have enough screen time to appreciate. Hannah John-Kamen, Laurence Fishburne and Walton Goggins also give solid performances. Peyton Reed delivers an average film, but he doesn't fix any of the existing problems from the first Ant-Man movie. Not only does he not fix mistakes, but he adds more of them. Action scenes are really well developed, but just like the first movie, there aren't many of them. His villain problem also continues, and maybe this franchise won't get any better until he leaves completely. The Editing is really well done. It knows when to cut each scene, making the battle sequences easy to follow. The battle sequences are really cool to look at. The scenes involving that size changes of both Ant-Man and The Wasp really show the potential that Peyton Reed and his team had. Also, the visualization of Ghost powers is also really well executed, though it can cause a little bit of confusion during fast scenes. The Soundtrack it's really "Pop Culture", making the whole movie fun and cheering!
