From visionary filmmaker Spike Lee comes the incredible true story of an American hero. In the early 1970s, Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) becomes the first African-American detective in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a difference, he bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. He recruits a seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver), into the undercover investigation. Together, they team up to take down the extremist organisation aiming to garner mainstream appeal. Produced by the team behind the Academy Award®-winning° Get Out, BlacKkKlansman offers an unflinching, true-life examination of race relations in 1970s America that is just as relevant in today’s tumultuous world.

Spike Lee wishes he was QT
This film is boring. I wish it wasn’t in my collection. Another film from Spike Lee that states all black people are brothers and sisters. The last part of the film is about showing how much he hates his president.

Could have been so much more...
You'd have to be a complete imbecile to miss the obvious and powerful messages in this film — and for that I truly commend Lee for putting them front and centre... but I believe those messages were lost in this, at times, 'slapstick' film. The story line had so much potential — but the acting really let it down. The soundtrack beautiful, but the human story weak. I don't normally write any feedback but I'm really disappointed in this film — SO much potential, but for me, it didn't do the message justice. Don't let this put you off watching the film though - it's worth a watch for sure!

One of the best movies
This film gives you everything, It will have you laughing all way through. It’s so funny, dark and emotional. The ending is incredible and rounds off this film so well, whatever your political background, hate breeds hate and the message is powerful.

Loved it
Just watched it today. Aside from being relevant to today, it’s also a solid snd enjoyable story regardless of any other messages. It’s a great cast, good humour and I loved the little touches too like the Clay Davis homage.

Great film.
I never really saw this coming but after the first advert I thought 'That's a future classic'.
