Actually loved it.
If you like, somewhat of a sequel to ‘The Wave’. The film centralises on Kristian and his immediate family through the film. The acting is excellent from all including the young daughter Julia. The camera work and lighting is also excellent as are the special effects. A steady start it builds nicely to the crescendo. Being picky more could have been made of the destruction. There is a scene that is vertigo inducing and that should have been exaggerated. Overall a really good character orientated film. Just don’t expect a Hollywood disaster movie made in the beautiful fjords of Norway full of American bravado and swooning heroines waiting to be rescued.
