So AMAZING!!!

For once a live action remake of a previously animated movie actually worked. Great action scenes and Will Smith is wonderful as the genie.

I saw this at the cinema and have since purchased a copy, great for long flight journeys.

It was like the actors weren’t trying hard enough. Will Smith is a quality actor but not suited for this. Adding a backbeat to the opening track was a loser from the go. Just not good enough. Original far outshines this effort. Quite poor!

Brilliant family film that was thoroughly enjoyable. Will Smith was hilarious despite looking a little odd in the trailer. The music was fantastic and left a really warm Disney feeling! It’s way too scary for my four year old but it’s a PG so I cannot knock it.

I enjoyed the movie Aladdin it was brilliant! Jasmine was my favourite character and I loved her new song!

I felt they rushed through most parts of the movie. Such a huge fan of the cartoon, that I felt the movie had a very odd flow and feel to it. Will Smith does do a very good Genie, acting brilliantly and very funny in he’s own way, minus he’s singing. Aladdin was slightly over played did to many silly things. And as a “street rat”, he looked very pressed, well dressed and very clean. Jasmine was also played very well, but her songs are very over rated. Jafar was just all wrong! Like I said, as a huge fan of the cartoon I was very upset with this movie version I won’t be watching this again.

Take away the singing (not a fan of musicals) and it’s a fun to watch respecting the original film.

Was good, pretty much exactly the same. Fun for most of the family, bit scary for young ones. Disney always seems to have the binary good and evil, light and dark.

Its not great but I enjoyed it. If you don't compare it to the original and just enjoy it for what it is, you'll probably have a good time.

This film was amazing. I’ve watched it probably 5 times ngl. Literally loved it. The casting could not have been better. Really hope they make The Return it Jafar into live action. Ugh that would be so good!! MUCH LOVE❤️❤️❤️

Amazing movie

There only one voice for the genie and that is Robin Williams. I suppose in 25 years this will be remade again. I know Disney are in the business to make money but this and other live action remakes for the current generation of movie goers. Disney or Hollywood for that matter have forgotten how to make a movie that is original and not wrapped in CGI and avoiding hidden politics.

I've just read on here that a reviewer said that this was better than Endgame. I HAVE TO AGREE. We've just come back from watching it, pre-ordered it and can't wait to see it again. Brilliant, brilliant film.

Don’t normally go for remakes but this was brilliant. Loved will smiths take on the geni and the change to the traditional Disney princess.

When I heard of the movie I thought I was not going to like it but when I watched it I wanted it to carry on and at the end I said I really want there to be a part 2.If you watch it I hope you like it because it was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.If your thinking it will be a boy movie or a girl movie watch the trailer it will tell you everything.

What an incredible film I’m speechless for words this movie is by far one of favourite Disney movies yet amazing ❤️

One of the best Disney films I have ever seen! Naomi’s voice is INCREDIBLE and Mena is soo much like the animated version of Aladdin and Will Smith never fails to empress me! Would 100% recommend going to watch it, unfortunately getting it on digital/ dvd doesn’t do it justice as it does in the cinemas but regardless it’s an amazing family film that everyone in the family would enjoy.

This new film is better than good its amazing and I’ve seen it in cinema it’s more then you expecting drama and face expressions really make the scene and it hooked me by a few points is a bit sad. I’m just saying if you are deciding in your family to watch this I would like you to say yes and if you don’t say yes that’s fine but I think then you will regret it when your friends talk about it

This is one of my favourite Disney movie. Will Smith was amazing and the songs were really good. It exceeded my expectations

Aladdin has always been the all time favourite Disney film of my Fiancée. From the beginning it feels instantly familiar despite the 26 year gap between the animated and live adaptation. You instantly know from “Arabian Nights” that you have been transported back to that world. Glorious visuals and classic Disney songs have had a revamp to bring this to a new audience. It pays homage to Robin Williams without trying to outdo the animated version but rather be its own thing. Will Smith shines as the Genie and it’s fresh to see his version without scuppering the genie we came to know back in 1993. Naomi Scott makes Jasmine one of the most powerful Disney princesses in this fantastic and vibrant movie. It certainly feels fresh and familiar but definitely Aladdin is back and he’s certainly here to stay.. pre-order today

I went to see the live action remake of Aladdin, and it totally made up for what happened to the live action remake of dumbo. That film sucked so hard but Aladdin 2019 totally is a great movie. Will Smith as the genie is so hilarious and funny as hell. Marwan Kenzari is good as Jafar but I think Johnathan Freeman is better as Jafar. Iago is awesome informing Jafar about stuff. Aladdin is awesome and princess jasmine is so beautiful and smoking hot. I don’t know why it got a 59 percent on rotten tomatoes, but if was up to me, I would give it a great score. I would give Aladdin 2019 an 85 percent on rotten Tomatoes. The songs are awesome, Arabian nights is so perfect for the opening. One jump ahead is good for running away from prison guards. You never had a friend like me was so grounded breaking it was an awesome song, Prince Ali was so absolutely amazing. The part where Jafar turns Iago into a giant parrot was awesome, and Jafar as a genie is electrifying. The setting is awesome, the background is so many times better than that horrible background of the live action version of dumbo. The characters are cool, the design is breathtaking, the songs are awesome, and the final battle is executed perfectly. The location is spectacular. I do have some negatives for the film but it is not as bad as the negatives on the live action version of dumbo. Negative 1, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. He is too young to be Jafar Johnathan Freeman is perfect as Jafar. Negative 2, Iago s voice actor. The guy who voiced Iago is just repeating his own lines all the time. But other than that, great film, definitely deserves your time and money, not a perfect film, but a great film nonetheless. I give The Aladdin remake 2019 4 stars out of 5, great movie.
