Not often you get a pretty realistic submarine movie
Technically interesting m and well executed even if the plot is weak, it doesn’t matter. They also used the real submarine at the end! I love good detail and this really pushed it home.
Slight overtones of propaganda about it too but who cares? Great to see the French submarine force in action. Some of the dramatic scenes were probably unnecessary- no submarine crew would behave like that under pressure but it’s entertainment not real life. Sub titles shouldn’t put you off but I speak French so not needed.
