Dark, disturbing, and humorous at times, but very captivating. This film has been made with a lot of care and attention to detail, from the first-class acting (sea fairing language) through to the production sets, (the lighthouse was built from scratch) to the location. The intense feeling of isolation leads the story into blurring the lines of reality and dream like states. All very entertaining and memorable.
