This title was £4.99 now it had gone upto £7.99!! And to cap it off it’s in the under £5 category!! Sort it out!! 😡😡

The 4K update has ruined the film. The stark contrast between scenes unable to be upgraded means we now have a jumbled mess of a film that jumps in and out of 4K quality mixed with what now look like outtake scenes. These editing challenges were less obvious before but now are so glaringly obvious that they now ruin the entire film. Yes, the acting is terrible, the special effects are terrible, the story is ridiculous and all of the military elements are utterly laughable for anyone who has served but these were all part of what made it a cult classic success. The 4K restoration has however ruined it.

A very well made horror/comedy. Like the other reviews, I’ve been waiting for this film on iTunes in the UK for nearly ten years! It would be great if the publishers could release add Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos to this release (if it’s possible?). The film is perfection!

Never thought it would happen. Previous releases had me thinking we’d never get a decent restoration. it’s been available for 2 yrs as a German 4K hard copy if ur willing to pay £60 - £90 on eBay

So I’m thrilled that all the legal babble has been cleared up and it’s here. It looks great all the grain the softness and muted colour has all been sorted. it looks as good as anything filmed on 16mm will.. So put ur beanie on get a cuppa and make like a soldier and press that play button like a good gentleman.💯👍

So good, a howling success from start to finish.

This the clearest and cleanest image ever for this movie. Great HD/4K transfer. Could be better but you can’t complain if it’s been more than 15years since you watched it. Raw, low budget and some of the finest British Horror ever filmed. Get it watched and get the beers in.

Class film. One of the best Werewolf movies. Well worth watching if you haven’t .... or even if you have!

Most of the good reviews must be from folk under 15 as the film is utter crap.

An absolute classic, featuring some truly scary beasts. I’ve been waiting years for this to be released on iTunes.

It’s described as HD, but take that with a pinch of salt as there isn’t much sharp detail. If there’s one thing that lets the film down it’s the poor picture quality. But the cracking story and practical effects more than make up for this.

This is an excellent British werewolf movie which we have been waiting ages for a decent HD release but where are the subtitles? It’s unacceptable in this day and age to release a movie without subtitles.

It’s showing as HD but when you play the film slide down on the remote and it shows it’s playing in 4K. No HDR which is a shame but still a nice picture for a great film that’s been long overdue on digital platforms.

Itunes does not yet say it but i watched this last night and it is in 4k so expect the Hd version to show this at some point, one of the veryt best werewolf films that is nearly on a par with american werewolf in london in my view, new transfer is like a new film i couldn't believe where had all the grain gone and the colour ( for the most part ) is spot on, this really has been given alot of care in remastering and full marks to Vertigo for bringing this to the UK again as i thought it would never see the light of day here again, simply brilliant allround

Truly a great low budget movie that will keep you in suspense. One of those movies you can see several times and not get bored with. Worth a watch

This is an early treat from the director of The Descent. A really great film if you like this sort of thing. Slightly confused by the trailer saying it’s in 4K but it only stating that it’s HD though?? Still worth buying but 4K would be mint!!!

Simply the greatest werewolf movie ever made! This will be epic. Please put the full 4K transfer up on here! Just waiting for the physical UK 4K disc pre order now. So excited for this!

I’ve literally been waiting for YEARS for this absolute gem to come to iTunes UK!! Such a classic and I’d even go as far to say it’s possibly the best werewolf movie up with an American werewolf in London! Definitely worth the money🙌
