Description
Following the tragic loss of their son, retired sheriff George Blackledge (Kevin Costner) and his wife Margaret (Diane Lane) leave their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family in the Dakotas, headed by matriarch Blanche Weboy. When they discover the Weboys have no intention of letting the child go, George and Margaret are left with no choice but to fight for their family.

Great movie for 2020
This film was a slow burner but it had to be. Both Costner and Laine were fabulous and having stumbled across the film it’s so worth the run time. Give it a go as it’s a great watch. I loved it and will buy it soon.

Predictable & Slow
It’s a real slow burner of a film that you think will get better and more thrilling as the story unfolds…
It doesn’t, everything that happens is very predictable which is disappointing as this had the potential to be a really good thriller.
All in all I wish I’d rented and not purchased.

Slow start, but great movie

Boring and silly
A boring movie with a silly plot and characters difficult to like whether they are the bad guys or even the good ones, specially the stupid and crazy wife of poor Costner character that should have divorced her five minutes into the movie. Avoid at all cost!
