Thought this was fresh and had new ideas that kept me guessing to the end. Neat special effects both practical and cgi.

Everything about this is awful. The acting. Good God the acting. I’ve seen less ham at the pork counter. The story isn’t clever, or cult classic, it’s just junk. Nonsensical and tedious, dialogue from an AI might actually be more coherent. The soundtrack is APPALLING. Remixing a Pixie song that happens to have a story-relevant title is lame and the director should feel bad. Camerawork comes courtesy of a Dad with their first handy cam in the 90s. Avoid.

I dont no if its because of covid but seriously the worse acting ive ever seen, if this is james wans return to horror then he needs to leave it along and walk away, worse film james wans ever made, in-fact id put this as worst horror film ive ever seen, not scary and just laughable with some of the scenes

Awful acting…….really awful. And James Wan, simply playing what is supposed to be ‘unnerving’ music at times does not build tension……no, not even if you add in some flashing light bulbs and a croaky voice! The malevolent character looks like a goth from the 80s. I could smell the patchouli oil and hear the drum machine from Sisters of Mercy whenever ‘Gabriel’ appeared. A film for people that are easily scared. Wish I had taken heed of the fair to middling reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

This is a brilliant movie , not seen anything like it before .
