Description

The Player meets Black Mirror in Jim Cumming’s (Thunder Road) acclaimed thriller. A soon-to-be married Hollywood agent receives a mysterious letter inviting him to an anonymous sexual encounter and becomes ensnared in a sinister world of lies, infidelity and murder. The Beta Test is a stylish yet scathing satire of preening toxic masculinity, the dangers of technology, and the hollowness of Hollywood success.

I was lucky enough to see this at a preview with Jim Cummings. I have been a big fan of Jim's work (Thunder Road, The Wolf of Snow Hollow), and I think this is his best. I can;t wait to see what he does noext and excited for more people to see this gem

Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed this, some Patrick Bateman-esque moments in the film but doesn’t go where you’re expecting it

Just watched this at the cinema and loved it! Can't wait to see it again as it has so much detail that I think can only be appreciated on a second viewing. An incredible blend of thriller and social satire with stellar performances- we need more films like this!
