I had the Blu-ray recently as iTunes had stupid pricing, but due to robbery I lost so now I see what iTunes are doing when a release goes off disc they can charge anything? Omg the truth behind streaming!!! Control!

This film is awful. Terrible plot. Do not rent or buy, go for decent one. You'll never get your 2 hrs back again. Might as well spend it on something decent.

I love this film.

So what if your'e a historian who would normally shout at the screen, (Braveheart) style. It's pure fantasy and a take on a legend who was, well; fantasy. Not at all to do with Excalibur movie based on Rospo Pallenberg's book. This is set in England when the Roman Empire was garrisoned here and Arthur and his entourage, who serve as soldiers are about to receive their freedom but are asked of to complete one more task. Hence the adventure begins... S@d history... Enjoy.

Sorry but this film is only just short of rubbish. The dialogue is crass, the plot slim and unbelievable. The acting is wooden and unconvincing. Kiera Knightly as an emaciated rescued prisoner suddenly becomes a fighting machine. I would not have purchased had I not been taken in by previous reviews. Previous reviewers must be used to a strange type of cinema experience to have rated the film so highly.

It's the only real life King Arther film my friends and family will consent to watching. It is a truly amazing film and has a more historicly accuret plot line. Buy it or rent it i love this film. :)

Have watched three times and it is great. Rent it.

The choreography in fight scenes are good, as is the sgi.

Do not buy if your a historian as you'll be shouting at your iPod so much.

The only bad bit was the choice of characters they kill as two were my fave ones

I watched this film at my cousins house and loved it. I've got the film and the soundtrack, both are amazing. Love listening to the music all the time and the film never gets old, I think the horses at the end are beautiful too. (I love it but don't you think arthur hardly ever smiles?I LOVE KING ARTHUR!

Love this film! I totally disagree with skybrowns comment on here. There is now 'historical' evidence to support the existence of king arthur, but like every other aspect of history, it will always be the subject of debate. However, the native britons at the time were made up of brythonic tribes which later went on to be known as 'Welsh speaking' or the Welsh as we know them today. They fought the invading 'saxons' which pushed them to the west. England did not exist in the 5th century, the time of Arthur. The invading Saxons were later referred to as 'anglo-saxon' otherwise known today as 'English'. So one thing is for certain, King Arthur was without doubt not an 'Engish King' as is often potrayed.

Disjointed plot & really not worth £6.99. If you want something similar to Troy, 300 or LOTR then look else where, this will only disappoint! Seemed like Kiera Knightly thought the battle finale was fancy dressed & came as an avatar. Good graphics, but the best part was definitely the end, due to relief more than anything.

Love the Arthur legend!! If you like fantasy action then you'll love this film!! As for the person insulting the English - I myself am not english - but I don't think you should insult people when you don't know better yourself - there is very little historical reference to Arthur and his existence in reality is still debated among historians. Certainly not proven. He is mentioned briefly in some old welsh poems and songs but not with regard to the legend we all know.

Every time I watch this movie, it just gets better and better.

Excellent acting by the cast.

its a nice realistic portrayal of the myth of king arthur. its a nice high budget movie (so no cheesy graphics or settings) it all

Not a bad film really, even if the acting is a bit dodgy. Good action scenes and a decent soundtrack make this ok for filling a few hours of your time.
