The film is brilliant, 5 Stars. However the video quality is very poor. The dimension of the video is small and noticeably loses sharpness when you increase the size.

quite simply a brilliant brilliant film, amazing cast, direction, acting and plot, this film has it all and no-one should have the ordasity to say otherwise. a piece of genius and everybody should watch it before they die...

There aren't enough superlatives to describe the brilliance of this film. And it's a shame I can only give it five stars, because it certainly deserves far more. It's no surprise that all the big and small time critics consider this film a classic. It takes film noir to new heights and puts on twists you could not imagine otherwise. You can watch this film 100 times and still find something new that you didn't see before. As for its somewhat predictability: It's not as predictable as you may believe, which makes it such an amazing piece of cinema; it's how cinema should be, and I wish more films like this existed, instead of simply going for the lowest common denominator of the usual Hollywood twaddle we've been subjected to for far too long. It's incredible to think this film was made only 15 years ago, but it will still be great 50 years from now. So watch it while you can.

my favourite film ever, amazing ending

Brilliant film. I'm so glad I've seen it before reading the review as there is always some pratt who gives the ending away in their reviews to spoil it for others. Idiots!!!!

This Film Is Without Doubt One Of The Finest Films Ever Made, The Plot Is Brilliant, If You've Never Seen It, Then Watch It NOW!!!

There's always those great films out there which inspire and capture something very special. The Usual Suspects is a total MASTERPIECE, brilliant, funny, wickedly witty and with fab actors that shine throughout. Although it's a few years old now, you want to watch this at least twice to "get" this film. Cinematography is well-crafted and although there's only a few special effects in the film, the total essence of the movie is about the story line - something that's sadly missing in many modern films. In my opinion, this is already a classic, classy film that fails to grow old. For me its brilliant and probably the best film you'll ever watch. Sit back and enjoy!

I watched this film back to back for 10 hours straight my mind was so blown by it the first time round. I love this film. The only film I can watch as many times as I want and I still get the same buzz from watching it everytime!

A clever story, Kevin Spacey [as always] acts perfectly and briliantly.

But the editing is what finally pulls the film together, making the end as shocking and fulfilling as possible.

I would not normally say this, as it annoys me when people do, but 1 star ?

Amazing. Anyone who hasn't seen this should. Those who do not like it are too dim to appreciate the plot.

I just dont get how people think this film is good, I didnt even understand the story and all i saw were people talking in a office...

I only watched this film for the first time the other day, but it's one of the few films recently that I've enjoyed it so much I can't stop thinking about it. The plot twist is amazing, I thought i had guessed it twice throughout the film, and turned out to be wrong both times.

Any film that gets your brain going gets my vote. Kevin Spacey is one of the finest actors.
