No feminist nonsense/“strong woman” cheese. No PC rubbish. No diversity nonsense. Just a brilliant movie. The only good Terminator. Terminator 2 would be good but for the feminist nonsense. The rest are utter drivel.

This movie is a complete legend and in my opinion the best in the series.not even judgement day can top it.the acting is awesome and the CGI is astounding.I would love to just step into this movie and become part of it.kyle Reece is an awesome hero and the cyberdyne or t-800 is a wonderful villain. I would just love to become the t-800 and enter the life of it. In short I love this film and lots of others do as well

This film is still great. Of the whole series is still got the best feel. Terminator 2 (which isn't on iTunes - embarrassing) may be the biggest commercial success but this is the non-kid safe more threatening terminator which is what you'd expect from a killer robot. In HD it's even better. This is from the peak Arnie era, it doesn't get much better than this.

Great film, ideally I was looking for a collection of all of the movies together. However no T2 available?? Not sure what thats all about. No idea why its £7.99 and the newest film is £4.99?

Really?! Great movie, but Apple need to get their prices in line with reality...

All those complaining about the price; this is an HD film. It's about the same price as the Blu-ray and looks far better than in SD if you play it on an Apple TV or computer, or even an iPad screen.

The only disappointing thing is the lack of extras.

An amazing film that has done well to still look good in todays CGI effect movies. Hope iTunes makes T2 HD soon??

Well I've watched it now and I'm glad I did. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a boss at this role. This film has everything, action, drama, awesome acting and super directing. The terminator= classic.

I watched this when I was about 13-14 and cracked my pants. At the time it was up there with the best movies of the 1980's. Times change folks, but this is all old school effects, no CGI what so ever, its all prosthetics, make up and stop motion, models and pyrotechnics. This is an amazing piece of film history am should be seen by everyone. This has everything a Sci-Fi junky needs, time travel, robots, cyborgs and explosions. ENJOY !!!

Great film!

This movie by far is the most scary of the terminator movies! None stop thriller and no room for breathing. Since my childhood it captured my mind like no other movie and scare's me now even lol Those who rate this movie down don't know about movies, simple as that! Not everyone has a taste. And this sci-fi thriller will always remain a legend and few comments can't take that away.

The film is not my cup of tea; found it very boring and nothing particularly special!

NO OFFENCE to fans of this film/series, this is simply my opinion (and doubt anyone will read it).

I suppose it must have been a good film at the time but I found myself turning the film off half way through, thought it was a little boring.

SORRY I did try, don't judge too harshly. Please make up your own mind though.

It was classic in its time and still holds up fairly well today, The buy price is too high, but for a film of the week 99p is perfect. People are really complaining 99p is too much? It really couldnt be more of a bargain. If you dont like renting, dont rent! Its that simple.

possibly the greatest film since forever, i love it. the first and best.

Despite the Soundtrack being really really cheesy, this film is definately the best of the series. It would probably be best to buy a copy from HMV or Blockbuster since a lot of old DVDs are no more than £5.

To all that have slated this, 99p for a rental is good value when you actually realise its available to view almost immediately, sure in comparision to the US its poor value but then everything else is too, we just have a greedy government and a much higher tax level. Thanks itunes for finally providing a great alternative to everyone who doesn't want to pay the premium of the likes of sky, for which most of the content is junk... (ps, great film for the 99p rental of the week!)

The film that started it all. It still gets the heart pounding after watching it more times than I've had hot dinners.

I wouldn't buy it or rent it though. £7 is just too much for a film of this age. I'd put the money towards a more recent film. And I certainly wouldn't pay Apple for a film they claim is 99p. Who ever comes up with Apple's strap-lines should be fired! "99p film of the week".....?

This is a fantastic film and a must own classic. It's a shame that this is not the most recent re-released version, especially for the price! (yawn). You'll never get bored of this. Terminator 2 & 3 should be available soon, maybe before the new trilogy. Great film if not great value.
