Description

Rocky battles his most powerful adversary yet - the ferocious Clubber Lang (Mr. T) - in this hard-hitting actioner that comes out swinging with adventure, humor and emotionally charged human drama. For what may be the most exciting and fast-paced film in the series, Sylvester Stallone writes, directs and stars with explosive passion and intensity. As Rocky Balboa (Stallone) fights his way into the hearts of millions, life couldn't be better. He scores ten consecutive wins, lands lucrative endorsement contracts and becomes famous throughout the world. But when Clubber Lang KOs Rocky in a humiliating defeat, it becomes apparent that the "Italian Stallion" has lost his edge. Considering hanging up his gloves, Rocky receives encouragement from an unlikely ally: his old nemesis, Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers). With Creed's help, Rocky strives to regain the "eye of the tiger" before confronting Lang in a grueling rematch for the world heavyweight championship.

Hard to beleive this film is now 35 years old. To me this was the most exciting Rocky. It had it all - an incredible theme song, an immense opponent and Balboa at this peak as he destroyed Lang in the final bout.

Great movie!

In my opinion the best of all the Rocky Movies. Having just been crowned World Champion and successfully defended his title for the 10th time Rocky gets caught up in the hype and commercialism surrounding his title win. Consequently when he meets his latest Challenger Clubber Lang played brilliantly by Mr T he has lost his edge in the ring, resulting in Clubber clubbing Rocky and taking the title. A very sad, but well acted part of this movie is when Rocky's mentor and trainer Mickey dies and you see the grief and torment expressed by Rocky over this and his title loss causing him to lose faith in himself not only as a boxer, but as a person. Then in steps an old rival to help Rocky regain his eye of the tiger. The montages in this film are great and the film takes you through the emotional highs and lows with Rocky.
There is also a great contest between Rocky and the World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion Thunderlips played by iconic wrestler Hulk Hogan.

I find it really annoying when great films get bad ratings because idiots are annoyed at itunes for not putting rents up or prices or whatever. Enjoyable film. Gets you really hyped up!

Before I begin, stop reviewing the service and review the FILM! This isn't a one star film it's classic Rocky. By this point in the series you know what to expect from it. Mr T is great though.

Ok, no. Rent?

People, when will you learn? Old movies like this one, we want to RENT.
Not buy, RENT.
If this and many other movies were available for rent right away, you'd have my money already. But no. Whatever, have it your way then.
