Description

It's summer, and conflict simmers just below the surface of a steamy Southern town. Passions ignite after the brutal rape of a young black girl, and suddenly it's a time to question, to rage and to kill. Into this cauldron of bigotry and vengeance enters an idealistic young lawyer who risks his job, his home and his family to fight for justice in this hard-edged adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel.

A time to kill.....

Blatantly one of the best films of all time....star studded, gripping, thought provoking, and heart rendering from start to finish especially the last 20 minutes....This and the Shawshank are my top 2!

Amazing film, hefty price tag.

John Grisham is one of my favourite authors and this is one of my favourite of his books. Very rarely is a film made from a book that is even half as good. This is one of those times.
The film is brilliant. McConaughey is good (and pretty cute), Jackson is on fine form, Spacey nails his character, Bullock is just plain excellent. There's even a KKK man runnin' around on fire if you want a laugh.
Unfortunately, iTunes is overpricing again. You can get this cheaper in any shop. My advice? Don't buy this; go read yourself the book instead :)

Pricing

6.99 for a film which is 12 year's old. Where is the logic in the pricing of such films

20 minutes too long

Fairly good until the last 20minutes when it falls flat on its own face...
