Al Pacino normally plays mafia and organised crime roles and I thought he was excellent in this film. One of my favourite movies of all time. Really touching and gets me crying every time. Sean Penn is brilliant in this movie too.

Al Pacino has starred in classic films such as the Godfather Trilogy and Scent of A Woman just to name a few. Carlito's Way is also brilliant. His character, Carlito originally seen as a criminal who was freed with the help of his lawyer-friend (Sean Penn) and a crooked clause in the trial, tries to take take the straight road in life and stay out of trouble. However it proves to be harder than he hoped. A great thriller, crime and love story with superb acting all round makes this a classic and one of my all time favourites. Shame about the price but you still have to watch this!! Awesome!!
