A classic Dudley Moore movie with so many laughs throughout you can’t help but smile, he’s a character you will easily fall in love with during his mishaps and eccentric lifestyle full of booze. Set in New York with a different story line than usual it’s a fun filled flick for all the family to enjoy, Arthur lives the life most of us can only dream of with a great cast it’s a must watch. Also Arthur 2 on the rocks (on iTunes) is an amazing sequel with the same feel. 10/10

Don't waste your money.

This is without doubt one of the greatest romantic comedy films ever to be released, staring one of greatest musical composers and comedian ever to walk on this planet. Dudley Moore was a true comic and musical genius. I miss his dulcet tones, musical creativity and witty rhetoric. Russell Brand does extremely well in the remake... But it just doesn't rival dud...! A must have for any film collection. Just follow the movement..! Lol... A Christopher Cross theme song beautifully sung, rounds off this superb epic of a movie.

such a boaring film, bad acting, his laugh is the most annoying thing i have ever heard, its irritating, and just makes me want to break my speakers, over all terrible film, dont buy

The realtionship between master and servant ie Geilgud and Moore is what makes this film so fantastic. You might not approve of the idle rich (see the Edwardian Jeevs and Wooster series), but this has some great touches / wheezes. To love this more than the remake could never be snobbery - just good taste. There is a difference. Also there a healthy political incorrectness here that the anodine remake lacks. This is funny. Facile sure because the character and his development is clunky. See Marx Brothers.

Watched both on ITV 2 over the last week. Brilliant films, Such a want to be guy, his life is such a dream! His butler, such a brilliant shakespere actor, adds that extra edge to the film.

This is my favourite movie of all time followed by Arthur 2 On the rocks, they are the funniest movies ever, i have watched then over & over again and there still as funny as the 1st time i watched them. U really don't know what your missing if u don't watch these. There the only 2 movies that i have on my iPhone. Perfect

A great story about a Multi Millionaire who likes the odd drink or two, who has a great time racing cars, and just happens to meet someone he falls in love with! cant tell you more or I will spoil it for you!

The film is for great for females and males equally and you will be howling together ....perfect to forget about the winter blues and the credit crunch!!

If you enjoy it half as much as I did then Im sure you will have great value for money!!
