Ok how was the film adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian? I really liked it, good sequel to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
The movie has a lot of good things about it. Firstly the acting, the four Pevensie's are just as good as they were before, Ben Barnes is good as Caspian and the rest of the cast are on form. The guy who plays Miraz serves as a viable replacement for Tilda Swinton as the villan who happens to be Caspian's uncle. The action/battle scenes are very well put together. The battles are more gritty than the one in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, if you have children take the PG certificate into consideration. The movie is quite violent. The visual effects are similar to it's predecessor and are just as good. There are problems with The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Firstly this film is undoubtedly too long. It's 150 minutes which is way too long for a family movie. At first the movie takes its time to get going, the first hour is quite slow but then it gets going. The story is not compelling. This is not the fault of the filmmakers this is C.S.Lewis. To be honest all it is, the Pevensie's come back and have to help a prince reclaim his throne from his evil uncle.
Overall The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is a good film not as good as its predacessor but is good for what it is. It's too long, slow starting, good acting. Also watch out for a cameo in the movie.
