Description
There are no rules in "the game." And that will make life very difficult for Nicholas Van Orton, a successful businessman who is always in control. Van Orton lives a well-ordered life - until an unexpected birthday gift from his brother destroys it all. Like it or not, Nicholas has been enrolled in a game - "a profound life experience" that begins quietly but soon erupts in a rush of devastating events. Van Orton has to win this deadly game or lose control of everything in his life.

So so.
Have seen this film before, its worth seeing but is very far fetched. The ending is disappointing, for £3.49 to rent I suppose it is ok.

What??
This is one of the weirdest films I have ever seen. The ending was so silly I laughed, and still cannot believe that it was finished in that way.
A totally silly, silly movie that leaves you feeling cheated.

The Game
Just such an awful awful film. There is no plausible story -in the end - to make sense of it. A lot of money spent with no real creative output. I'm so so sorry but why did this get finally made?

This is one of those films that really makes you THINK!
I really enjoyed this film, and repeated viewings only validate my first impression of this film.

Awesome
Beyond brilliant - the plot is incredible, the acting perfect and the twists and turns along the way leave you wondering what on earth is going on, right up until the final few minutes. And even then, you still wonder... A must see for anyone wanting to give themselves a two hour mental rollercoaster ride!

The Game
One of my all time fave films, shoves, tension, mystery, intrigue & drama without Blood & Gore, great Casting and faultless acting, make this a film you can watch again, and never get tired of it. For Once an Ending to do justice to the plot. Very emotional conclusion leaves you breathless, very underestimated film in my opinion, although trailer with a manikin puppet, doesnt really deliver whats it about.

Quality thriller
One of the better thrillers of the late 90s, the performances of the supporting cast make this a better movie than it perhaps would otherwise have been. David Fincher's direction builds the tension nicely for the big showdown/reveal at the end. If this movie somehow passed you by, then you've just acquired a new homework assignment...
