I really enjoyed this, up to the point of the scene with Nigel and his parents in their bedroom (trying not to give anything away). Up until then, it was suspenseful, captivating and unpredicatable - mainly due to the indefinable and pendulous relationship between the two main characters. From the aforementioned scene on however, the film descended into farce. The remainder feels rushed and thrown together; and the whole foundation of the film - which comes to light in this portion - is utterly ridiculous, wholly random and pointless, and unbelievably far-fetched. Shame really, because the film had been going places. Unlike another reviewer, I thought the acting of the main boys was very good. 'Nigel' is very beautiful. There two slight distractions though: firstly, presumably this is supposed to be set in Britain - but the trains are definitely not British; and secondly, 'Alex's mouth, which - much like Julia Roberts' - probably has its own postcode
