One of my favorite comedy films . Love the performances especially Robert "Iron Man " Downey jr performance ( would have won an oscar if not for Heath Ledgers out of this world performance - may he R.I.P) . Can't stop laughing at his Kangaroo Jack speech . And gotta love Jack Black's performance too .

I like the trailer for this but the rest of the film was a massive let down. I gave it one star for Tom Cruise's turn in it. It was a good idea, good cast but terrible execution.

Tropic thunder is amazingly funny just buy it don't rent!!!

let me start by saying, I love this film. However asking someone to pay 9.99 for or even 6.99 for a movie is extortion. I've seen the film once legally, and unfortunately, due to the greed of movie studios, on my second viewing of this amazing movie, I was forced to utilise methods other than iTunes. If the pricing was reasonable, more people would watch this film, (basic economics supply and demand) Shame on you Apple, Shame on you movie industry, as a result other methods of viewing content will increase, and your overall profits of the movie industry will decrease.

Very stupid but absolutely hilarious couldn't stop laughing all the way through it and afterwards. Still laugh about the things they say afterwards. One of my favourite films. Definite buy is my recommendation.

It's absolutely stupid but one the other hand it's probably one of the top ten comedy's is scene , and is well worth watching again :)

I think the people who dont like this film are stupid because

A) Its ball-bouncingly funny

B) The cast is great

C) Tom Cruise is freakin hilarious

D) The storyline is O.K

This film is tank and pure hench a must see very very funny

this was a really funny film until the first time itunes crashed and deleted the film completely (like it did half way through x-men first class). i then bought the film again hoping i would get it free this time as i already bought it. it wasn't free this time and it has just been deleted again 10 minutes from the end. i am not impressed. the film was really funny but i am not going to get another film on itunes for a while until i am sure they have fixed the problem.

Saw this at the cinema, and loved it.

If you get offended easily then its not for you, due to gore, frequent strong language and use of offensive terms describing mentally handicapped people (putting it lightly), but if those things dont bother you then its a must see.

This movie on full screen and it's good and funny abit rude for younger viewers but recommended it has skilled comedy Jack Black is the best!!!THANKYOU!!!

A lot of things can be said about this film: rude, crass and totally un-politically correct... but it is unbelievably funny. Definitely worth watching.

The film is worth watching just to see Downey Jnr's portrayal of a black man. It is hilarious. Ben Stiller is ok but I feel he plays similar parts in all his movies. Jack Black sucked, his performances have been declining now for a while. Watch out for Tom Cruise stretching his acting abilities or at least trying too.

i disagree entierly with martin lee i think all of the actors are hilarious and that the film is funny as hell if he thinks this film is rubbish then he doesn't know a think about comedy films and he should leave it to the pros

didnt really know what to expect of this film after reading mixed reviews but was pleasantly suprised! Very funny movie, constant flow of gags cracked me up the whole way through!

very funny in places but if you are easily offended steer clear! It takes humour up to and frequently over the edge of crassness and taste and if you are of a "delicate" disposition this is probably not for you. If however detailed descriptions of the act of fell*tio and gore so graphic that it can ONLY be comedy do NOT offend you then this is for you.

this film is awesome! all those who oppose, have sadly, no sense of humour! robert downey jr. XD!! to get more out of it watch the rain of madness mocumentry...but still..so many bad reviews...so many people without a sense of humour..i feel massly sorry for you guys..

If you are one for immature humour I strongly reccomend this movie. I went to the cinema to watch this with a friend and we've been talking about it ever since. You really to need to be completely immature to enjoy this movie or at last have a completely immature side so if you don't enjoy it well then you're just too mature for it.

For gags per minute this film wont be beaten for a long time.. I went to see it at the cinema with a mate and we actually got told to calm down we were laughing that much! Robert Downey JR is awesome, and Ben Stiller has done a great job in bringing such a hilarious cast together.. LOVED IT !!

Not a the hilarious comedy described by previous buyers. I found Tropic Thunder to be barely average with a story line that is ridiculus. There are a few moments of funny moments and Robert Dwny.Jr impressed me with his performance, but apart from that, not worth much and defiently 4 quid for a 48 hour rental.

This film ROCKS. Don't take it too seriously, or you will be very disappointed. Go into it in an Anchorman sort of way- don't expect an engaging storyline or any real thought-provoking scenes, but be ready to laugh at infantile jokes the likes of which have never graced the screen before, and, unfortunately, may never again. The best film of this millennia at least. Probably the last one as well. Shame on the critics, get back in touch with your inner child!

why is everybody saying this is so bad.. it's great! it's funny and very entertaining to watch, plus theres such good actors in it.

This film is actualy so funny! It couldn't not be funny with Ben stiller in it! and the combination of Ben stiller, Jack black and Robert Downey Jr, it was going to be awesome! I laughed all the way through and was bouncing to see it again. I liked it:-)
