The Lazarus Project is a good decent american thriller/drama starring Paul Walker as Ben Garvey, who wants to put his criminal past behind him. With a steady job, he is living the life he finally wants with his wife and daughter. But when he unexpectedly loses his job, his turns back to his past, and robs a lab with his ex-con brother. During the robbery the police are alerted and his brother is killed along with an accomplice and a security guard, Ben is caught and is given the death sentence by lethal injection. But shortly after this, he awakens not far from a psychiatric hospital and works as the groundskeeper and he befriends a patient, Robbie who claims that people are watching them. Ben longs to return to his wife and daughter, but the life is his living now is not what it seems when the truth slowly unfolds. It is a well paced film, but you may think that it has a slow start, but bear with it. Paul Walker gives an outstanding performance as always and the plot unfolds nicely with parts being gripping and emotional in places. It isn't the greatest film i have ever seen, but the sort of film you will enjoy after a long days work. Overall a very good film, just not five stars and I would definitely recommend it if you like a well played thriller/drama.
